When I joined there were like, only two excluding you since you weren't around.
And now I kinda regret since Karn's life style is like a Slayer's. Ah well xD
Good news is, Karn can still utilize Chimera magic, even when not a slayer. He just can't use it as a human.

It would have to be caster base magic (like fire) since Chimera magic is more magical energy base. The closest to it is either fire or light since Karn learned from a Eastern Chimera. If it was a actual full mythical chimera there would be more elements.
Ariel sleeping outside is a side effect and not a behavior. She was trying to get away from the guild hall.
