There's nothing in that film worth defending. He was counting on the fan base for the anime to bring in continued revenue. And now, well, we all know the shit he's putting out, so I doubt there's going to be enough people to go to the next one to have any justifiable cause for a third.

I don't recall the whore part but more bitchy, whinny, and overall useless in any fight yeah xD not at all like the more motherly, smart, and a pretty good fighter Katara

Basically, almost every character was pourly portrayed.

@Silver FoxIt amazes me how much they didn't realize what people loved about the show. it was fucking obvious, and yet, they didn't even try to touch on it. I haven't seen the movie in full, just certain parts, and from those I can see that they fucked Sokka up the most, I think that the actors who portrayed Zuko and Iroh were okay from what I've heard, but everyone else was just god awful.

I put on the movie since it was on, but also multitask with playing Pokemon xD so I just kinda listened and glanced over occasionally. And I was disappointed.

But it was amazing how MUCH they fucked up. I mean, I think the only thing they got right were the basics of the plot. It's like they didn't try. At all. XD

Couldn't even get Sokka right. Just made him into a super serious responsible emotionless older brother.

The fire bending pissed me off, the Earth bending was sad and the water bending needed work. Aang wasn't childish at all, which was what made Aang a character, was his process of maturation. Just the whole thing...*cries in disappointment*

I watched every episode of the source material. So did my parents. We were all horribly disappointed and appalled.

I also watched every episode but tried to give the movie a chance.

After all, I knew there was no way one movie could fit a entire 'book' / season and be good. Because what made the show wonderful was all those little episodes and moments with the characters and the little stories along their journey.

But what irritated me the most was the movie's version of 'bending'. it could have been cool to see.... But 5 earth benders.... To move a rock so slowly and small a five year old could side step it.

That and the character portrayals. It irked me a little that unlike the original, the characters looks didn't go with their nation. But I let it slide.

But then there was the acting... And the change in personalities... It just hurt >~<
