With the sound of a door closing behind him, Oliver was now left in an empty Hospital corridor; alone with himself and his thoughts. What happened during the trip was not foreseeable, but he was left wondering of things could have been different. This was the third time he tried to speak to Sofia's parents, but as she wrote in the letter Hayes knew not the existence of - everything had been decided and set in stone. With a sigh he took off, turning a corner only to run into one particular person.

Mr. Sparks - and alone? Strange indeed as he seemed to be quite popular with his class mates. The thought of what happened came back ina flash, in the teacher's mind. Such an event would be hard to process for such young heroes in training, that much he knew. Parts of the fight had been vicious, people were hurt. To see his student limp forward like this... well, it was a metaphor in itself. Hayes did have a mind to go forward to speak to him. To tell Renard that he did good, as well as the others, to hold off as they did. In the face of real danger and hardship, they used everything they could to protect one another. He couldn't be more proud to have witnessed this - but he did not step forward.

A closer look down the hall, towards where Renard was heading, revealed more of Hayes' students. With a nod and the semblance of a smile, Hayes turned the other way. For the better or worse, they were a team now. He would address them in class.

Later on that Saturday, as the sun was setting on San Francisco, a hooded person was making their way down a busy street near the docks of the city. People were running about, heading for whatever destinations they were bound to reach. The hooded figure's way brought her to a street heading in a poor part of the neighborhood and each steps she took, each corner she turned, seemed like it brought her in increasingly disfavored parts of the city until she entered a large building. The heavy metal doors closed behind her as she stepped in, echoing in the emptiness of this seemingly abandoned storage area. There was a few containers scattered about, left to dust and rust. Past those vestiges, towards the back, was a much larger iron container with a single window straight on top of it, a ray of sunlight aiming down on it; it had no visible openings, and no text written on it. It's large gate was shut tight, but a smaller door allowed entrance on it's side - this was where Noxious headed.

It took her close to a good minute to unlock the secured door and step it, closing it back behind her before she finally removed her hood. The inside of the container was nothing like the abandoned outside. It contained a concealed living area; small, but comfortable. The ceiling was a large window, allowing the sunlight in during the day. Everything was tidy to a fault. In the corner was a library full of books, some scattered on the small table close by. There was also a small one-place sofa near the table, in the opposing corner was a small kitchen beside which was the door from which Noxious just entered. To her right, a sleeping area complete with a bed, and a much younger boy laid on it, reading a book. The boy had left his book and sat up when he heard the woman get in.

"I did not expect you before next week?"

Without saying a word, Noxious stepped in the room and dropped a backpack she had been carrying on the small table, pushing the books aside, causing one or two to fall on the ground. From the bag she got some food out along with new books of varied topics; from fantasy to modern politics.

"I was nearby." she said, her purple, jaded eyes aiming down at the boy who was now picking up the books she caused to fall. Calmly, he put them back in the library, then took a look at the new books.

He sat at the Sofa, taking a look at the new books. He seemed to be no more than 15 years old, give or take. The boy had short, pale blonde hair and seemed very thin and weak. Part of it may have been due to bad nutrition, but everything also pointed to him having some sort of condition. "Have you changed the world yet?" He as if it was the most nonchalant thing ever. Noxious chuckled under her mask and she began putting away the food in the kitchen.

"On the day it happens, you'll go free."

"Like you freed our parents?"

If that comment was supposed to faze Noxious in any way, it failed. She finished refilling the kitchen, then headed back to the door, opening it and looking back at the boy before adding; "You know the answer to that." and the massive iron door closed shut on the little boy's existence.
@Ryonara Forgot to answer you ! Sorry !

Could work. Then he could train his muscles, basically, to allow himself to work on his Quirk more. Something like that? If you edit it in, notify me that I can confirm and you can put it in the CS tab.

@LuckyBlackCat
Post, Post.
@Aerandir Beautiful. I can accept this as it is. Post in the CS Tab and feel free to join the Discord !
It has to be him.

Quirks are not super powers, and from what I saw so far people tend to see them too much as this... Quirks are essentially all mutations of the body. The Quirks have to find their origin from within someone, and more often than not using a Quirk will tire you just as much as using any other parts of your body, like legs or arms. So this is the direction you have to take.

My villain is Poisonous, but she has to maintain that poison in a way not yet disclosed. Some others are hurt when they use their Quirks or hurt themselves or get tired. So this is the way you have to take to develop a real MHA Quirk ! Hehe.

Way I see it, maybe he uses his energy when he uses the Quirk, so he has to eat more than others. Or Drink, or something like that.
@Ryonara The problem is almost all Quirks come with some form of Backlash in MHA... even with that solution, he still can technically use his quirk indefinitely. Not that it's the most OP power I have ever seen, but it's more in order to follow the MHa spirit? I'd rather see a upgraded version of the Quirk with some sort of limit to it, than a weaker version with no limits, if you understand me?

@Aerandir I forgot you ! Haha. So far it looks ok, but I will wait for a finished CS before judging.
@Mangrale I'm sad to see you go... but it's been fun ! Hope to see you around, keep up the good work !

@Indra As my (New) Co-GM said, we stay afar from too much Canon stuff. Especially since we're in a different country, but nothing stops you from creating a character inspired from it.

@Genon The Quirk could work...but I'd need to see it written down in more details. Through a PM if you wish, or directly on a CS so we can approve or pin point stuff to change?

@Ryonara I like this Quirk idea. I like that it's pretty simple. As Blackcat said, though, we need a drawback. A good inspiration would be Momo - she creates objects that last forever, but doing it requires energy. Something akin to that? Reinforcing objects requires something out of him, and the bigger the more, but the effects remain? The rest seems fine with me !

Did I miss anyone? Sorry for the long time I take to answer - this is why I appointed a Co-Gm ! Haha.
@Ryonara Hey - I am not saying Yes but I am not saying No to this idea of yours. I feel like it can be adapted, but it's not quite MHA-approvable yet. I'd like to see it integrated in a character to really see what it could look like. I have only a few points that come to mind :

1. The eye contact thing, you might want to change it to either touching or something more unique but ultimately it's your choice and eye contact would be fine.

2. I don't like the 10 minutes thing, because you'll probably never do it in combat, and it's too...simple. Too video game - gimmeckey, like a cooldown.

3. I do not like that this telepathic network is apparently created and remains forever. I'd prefer if you actively had to create it each time and if there was some thing you had to do to help maintain it. If only because combats are going to be boring if there's nothing for you to do but remain motionless and be an antenna. Also, you need to come up with a way others can counter it. Say, knock you down. Though I guess this is a given.

4. I do not like that others can communicate with one another without going through him.

All in all, it's too perfect for what it does. It suffers from the same problems others did.
When you think of a Quirk in MHA, do not imagine what powers you want to play with or what would be cool. Quirks are, in the end, very simple modifications that can be good depending on how people uses them. So think up something simple, and creates amazing ways to use them.

@Genon Great ! You just have to work on a character and show it to me here and for it to be approved to join. :)
@Ryonara

Hey ! I am glad you are interested !
About your Quirk idea, well...minds related quirks are possible because we've seen some in the show, but I see 2 immediate problems with a mind read type of quirk.

1. You'd need something to enable it. Straight out having psychic powers is not a quirk. Even in the show, that one guy who can controls people actions? (i forgot the name) can activate his quirk only if people answer to him. As far as I can tell, Quirks need to have an enabler that is directly related to your character's person. So for a mind read it could be touching the person, saying the person's name or something like that?

2. But even then, a mind reading power is very problematic because it would require constant communication with your fellow RPers partners. A very decent writer that was extremely good at communicating on Discord with others might achieve it, but then you'd be robbed of the experience of actual characters interactions because all of this would need to be discussed in advance.

To me, a Mind Reading power might be more of a problem / burden than it might be fun? Unless you can prove me otherwise, or some up with something original that I didn't think of !
Alright ! So we are now accepting new players to this as we enter a New Arc ! Please do read the rules !

Currently we are lacking 3 heroes !

I am in a position of accepting One villain until more heroes are created !

Enterprise

The Principal didn't move as the villain was slowly getting herself ready for a fight. Something was off about her, but a villain was a villain and this one had just threatened her students. She punched the palm of her other hand, a smile on her lips. "Well...I am all too happy to oblige." She felt the familiar energy rush in her and, fully confidant, launched herself forward yet again.

In what seemed like less than a second, Enterprise had closed the gap to her enemy and delivered her very first attack; a straight punch meant for the woman's chest. Noxious had been at the ready, striking a defensive pose. As the punch came in, she simply took one step aside. The full force of the blow caused her hairs to raise when the wind caused by her opponent's movement caught back to them. The Pro Hero followed with another punch, and another but each time Noxious was ready and seemed to easily duck and evade the punches. On the fourth attempt, Noxious evaded again but her hand reached out straight for her opponent's face - which they evaded.

Enterprise immediately jumped back, but her opponent didn't close the gap. Odd. Instead, they remained defensive, striking a defensive pose again. Enterprise eyes went beyond, seeking to know exactly what was happening inside...but there was no way to see clearly even through the hole. Clearly, the villain was seeking close quarter combat. She was good. Clearly trained in combat, maybe even better than Enterprise herself. However she wasn't as strong, and a simple direct strike would put them out of commission for sure - if she could but land one.

"I see your game. You're skilled, I'll give you that, but you shouldn't underestimate a Pro Hero!"

Noxious

More of the hero's empty words. Provocations and bravado wouldn't affect nor distract her from combat, and Noxious could only scuff at those. Typical of Pro Heroes, who were so full of themselves. Enterprise soon threw herself forward again, and Noxious was fully focused on defense. She knew all too well of her enemy's strength, and any blow that landed meant the end - but they would never land. Heroes, or villains, that possessed such powerful and straightforward quirks most often did not bother to train as extensively as they should. Noxious on the other hand was fully trained in multiple martial arts and specialized in defense, counter attacks and grapples attacks; she was perfectly geared to deal with over zealous power machines like Enterprise. She waited for the blow...but it never came. Instead, the punch stopped a good metter away from Noxious, and a shock wave of wind and energy rushed forward to hit the villain and forced her to slide backward. What?

"Don't look so surprised. I told you, I've seen your game, but I won't be...playing!" With that last statement, another shockwave was sent forward, this time Noxious skillfully dodged to the side. "Damnit. She caught on quick. I had hoped she'd be over confident and commit to melee...I guess I did underestimate her."

Finally, the villain was forced to run forward. Enterprise pummeled her with shockwaves of punches and kicks that sent the cement flying with each strikes. Each time Noxious managed to sidestep, dodge or roll away while jumping forward and slowly gaining ground. A dance - a destructive one. Even from inside, people were bound to hear and feel the Principal's destructive force. Each of them needed but one blow - yet only one was aware of that fact.

Noxious was gaining ground, but there was no way to make the final stretch...at least not until her opponent was distracted.

Enterprise eyes widened. She grabbed Noxious incoming strike and pulled hard. Noxious was able to recover by jumping over the President, reaching for her face...meanwhile, Enterprise then kicked the landing Noxious straight in the stomach, sending her flying backwards as she immediately followed with a punch forward towards...?

Mr.Hayes

Most seemed to have forgotten that there was not one, but two Pro Heroes on scene.

"You like to prowl, but you're not as good as you think you are."

Quinn would hear him right beside her, almost directly in her ear, but if she looked there would be no one. Then she'd feel him trying to grapple at her tail and arm, trying to bring them together at an attempt to then immobilize her. The attempt was good, but the teacher underestimate the strength of the additional appendage of the villain, whom quickly shook off the ghostly attacked, sending Hayes flying back towards his students still around. Only then did he reappear, straightening himself and replacing his glasses. At least he stopped her from further attacking Gabby or the others close by. "Sorry I was not with you, class, but you managed to hold the line by yourself moire than admirably. It is over, now."

Mr.Hayes said as he also pointed back towards the entrance of the complex. There, she could see her partner, Animus, knocked out and tied up with... Aby? This had been what Mr.Hayes had been up to, and somehow never was spotted while doing so - truly earning his name and reputation. This was not the only thing he had been up to...

...the second Freya had taken her eyes off of Jackie, to look towards Sofia, was the moment the chainsaw wielding villain decided to jump back on her feet and head straight for the wounded trio - only to be hit by Enterprise's shockwave and thrown backwards again. She was back on her feet quickly, though, and even angrier. "I...said--"

"Nothing. You've talked enough." said a woman, seemingly jumping out of nowhere, as she landed on Jackie's back. Quickly, she closed her thighs around the wounded villain and used her body's weight to bring her down in a front spin. Luckily, Jackie had spent most of her Quirk on the students, whom held their ground, and Sphinx was able to capture the villain with relative ease - not that she'd ever admit it. She gave a glance at her sister as she stood up, clapping the dust out of her hands, Jackie now tied down on the ground. “Told you - you make for a pretty bad hero even giving your best. You don’t have what it takes...and it seems you’re not the only one.”

As for Enterprise, Noxious took the opportunity to jump back at her...but what seemed like an elongated, semi-transparent arm hit her right in the chest and pushed her all the way back against the wall, before it began to shrink all the way back to one newcomer. The amn was akin to Mr.Hayes in that he,too, was well groomed and clothed, albeit he looked a bit more gruff as well as having broader shoulders. It was quite obvious that the man was missing an arm - which was instead replaced by a ghostly looking member. "We came as fast as possible. More are coming." he was speaking to Enterprise, yet his eyes locked on Noxious.

...it was quite obvious what was happening. Someone had called in reinforcements, and the nearby Pro Heroes came to the rescue. Shit.
"Everyone" Noxious began saying in the mic to her whole team as she was slowly getting back up after being tossed. Twice. "Time to make out exit. Leave, spread out and survive. Everyone meet in 2 days at the base, understood? If you betray us, I'll find you myself." With that, the villain's leader made use of her detonator once more...this time causing Sana's and Quinn's planted bombs to explode. The machinery room got caught in a big ball of flame, sending tremors everywhere. There was no way heroes would ignore this. Without asking her rest, Noxious made her exit - with a smile on her lips.
