I shook yo hand. Or I didn't see you offering it so I offered, so logic dictates we shook hands.

Edited. Sorry my bad, I was remembering back to the last conversation where Cameron left Bruiser hanging for some reason. Goddamn pain meds. XD

50% of this RP is people hitting on other people.

Yeah, but that's mostly @Genni's doing.
@Aphelion

I think that's the point with all of them. Who'd guessed the worthless glass eye Chuck tried to use as a ruse would turn out to be a valuable magical artifact after all? At least it plays into his role, validating his (fake) story a little more.
Also, I reread the entire OOC. Someone mentioned earlier that Patch had a first-aid kit in the group's car... where did they wind up parking, again?

The car was parked on the other side of the next warehouse, but if they're in the car park just outside the target warehouse then there should be the armoured jeep that left earlier back parked there again so it would be a lot closer than their own car, just a few meters away.

Patch wouldn't want to have to carry Owl too far though, so it would be better if a vehicle was brought to them, preferably one with some sort of medical supplies in to help tend Owl's wounds.

Given the actions Patch has taken, Owl should be stable now for thirty-forty minutes before the internal bleeding starts to cause pressure on her lung. At that point he'll need to 'bleed' her to release the pressure, which would then complicate the recovery process. As long as he does this though the wound shouldn't be life threatening, but without surgery the muscles in her shoulder could take lasting damage which would seriously hamper her ability to use that limb, and that's Patch's biggest concern right now.

Already Owl's looking at at least two-three weeks without the use of her arm, once the surgery's performed to removed the bullet and clean the area of any possible infections. The cotton wool won't help there as it'll quickly bond with the clotting blood (within ten-fifteen minutes) and so Patch will have to cut out the partially repaired area along with the cotton wool, adding to the recovery time.

Owl will need at least six months physiotherapy to get the limb back in fully working order, but the wound will cause permanent tightness in the area due to the muscle and skin damage and the resulting scar tissue.

Worst case scenario would be that the pressure from the internal bleeding would crush Owl's lung, sending her into a 'panic attack' as her body tries to maintain oxygenated blood flow to her brain. The resulting increase in cardiac function would increase her bleeding, which in turn would escalate both the blood loss and the internal pressure. Eventually she'd die of blood loss more than anything. This is highly unlikely with Patch there to maintain treatment, but is reliant on his constant supervision and ability to focus on caring for Owl.

By the way, I'm presuming that Owl was hit in her right shoulder, as she suffered no hydraulic shock symptoms when first hit, which may've been caused if the bullet hit her left shoulder and sucked blood away from her heart as it penetrated. Of course, if she's a dextrocardiac then the opposite would be true, but in that case Patch would've noticed the effect and compensated as appropriate, and still performed the same actions as he has already done, only on the opposite side of Owl's body. As the odds of this are something like 1:12k I'm presuming that's not the case.

Umm... guys? Did anyone prepared the surgical equipment as Patch requested? I love your eagerness to come help save the day, but you may have just killed Owl. XD
Welp now I have to catch up with IC. Sorry I was busy for a while, I had driving and then I played Origins for a bit.

No hurry at the moment, we're all just hanging around at the campfire wondering who's going to be sleeping in which tents tonight. Apparently they're special tents that have been provided by Isabela from the Siren's stores, making them ship tents. :P
DnD bores me soo much. Like... (I was 16 or 17. No I was defiantly 16. Math isn't my strong suit, but I do know how to stack multipliers in rpgs. It was how I broke DA:O easily before doing the second area of the game. As in the treaties.)

The Star Wars system is easier. It uses dice which tell you if you succeed, gain an advantage or gain a triumph compared to others which give you failures, despairs and threats. Balance the rolls against each other, if you have more successes than failures you pass, if you have more advantage than despair you gain a bonus and if you have more triumphs than threats you do something miraculous.

With this it's possible for someone to succeed in a task, but gain despair at the same time. No maths involved, but as GM you do have to be able to think quickly on your feet as to what exactly the outcome of the dice roll would mean to a character. For instance tonight someone picking an electronic lock succeeded with despair, and so the door was opened but they received a shock from the lock and their hand was numb while dealing with the people in the next room.
Just back from a Star Wars roleplay where I was GMing a raiding party clearing out a cruiser of cyborg zombies taken over by a twisted holocron AI.

Ahh, fun times...
"I don't care where we go, as long as we don't have to go by FUCKING SEA..."

Taking his pipe out of his mouth Martin held it high in the air pointing in Fredrick's direction, saluting the man's sentiments. "Amen to that, brother." He called out with a chuckle. "Whichever whoreson decided a man should ride the waves should've been hunted down and taught exactly how to swim, preferably with the largest lump of red lyrium they could find shoved up his arse."

Leaning back against the log he was propped up against Martin listened carefully to the options being suggested. Free Marches... not by sea... That would probably mean heading up the Imperial Highway before taking boats down the Minanter River, hitting Hasmal, Tantervale and Starkhaven.

Martin had heard some interesting rumours coming from refugees heading out for Starkhaven recently, talk of war with Kirkwall, which he could understand given the mess they'd made for themselves in the old Tevinter port town. From what he'd heard the whole bloody Mage mess had started in that godforsaken hole, and if there was money to be made wiping it off the map he'd certainly be willing to take his share.
Thats fine @SimplyJohn, we aren't expecting daily posts from people by any means.

I usually post quite quickly, but I'm really going to have to try holding myself back with such a large cast. Perhaps Som should volunteer as a guinea pig if that'll guarantee him a lot of constant attention?

Important announcement. FALLOUT 4 AND XCOM 2 ARE BOTH CONFIRMED.

Hmm... a little unsure how to take news of X-COM 2. Is it going to be more like the original, where you had to carefully choose which of your soldiers to promote to Commander as you could only have one at a time, and if they got injured in battle the entire squad's morale would nosedive? I loved details like that.
Just wondering, will we be looking to find new recruits once one of our team's bled out in Patch's arms and the other's been shot in the back of the head due to a 'misfiring weapon'?
@Ellri I'm just heading out for the night, so won't be making any posts until tomorrow at the latest. Just wanted to make sure that wouldn't be a problem.
