Trying to wrap my head around the new tools and bits of the site. Well done, Mahz.

Bio

Née 1991. I feel old already.

Been roleplaying from the age of 15, write on solo projects in my spare time. I heartily encourage interaction when it comes to writing and creative efforts. Like to think I'm an understanding but stern and solid GM when I host games, and a collaborative and creative individual. Used to draw. Write in advanced section.

While I might not be as omni-present a some of you are on RP:G, I have been a part of it since 2009-2010 (if my memory serves me right). However, I must admit that post Guildfall, my activity also dropped. Slowly getting back into things.

I attended university to acquire my master's degree in history. I already had an educational degree for history and English, and am teaching both in secondary school. Any questions? Ask.

<Snipped quote by OneEyedChurro> Isn't that a factor of our rolls? I wasn't aware we could edit those.
OneEyedChurro has no rare earth materials, which means he'll have to import those. In addition, he's got moderate deposits of 'regular' metals, which means at least some of it can be traded away, or alternatively put to modernising and equipping his army/forces.
Looking good so far. Herp, the southwestern mountain range sounds good to me. I intend to start placing nations on the map somewhere tomorrow. Also looking forward to the rest of the sheets!
What's the word that sounds similar to anonymous, but means when the entire assembly/group agrees together on one thing without dissent?
unanimity
Think my sheet is pretty much done, just need to work on a flag. I may add tiny bits here and there; it'd mostly be locations.
Rocking those fancy hats. Traits looking fine too.
Try getting rid of that rogue /indent] under Military, in 'Other'. Think I had that too.
Yes, I noticed it too. I have corrected it in the offered BBC coded sheet. My mistake.
In that case, here are mine- Pro: State Inquisition- the Inquisition is a small panel of three judges tasked with maintaining the security of the homeland. Their size means they can deal with threats quickly and it doesn't take them long to establish a network of agents both at home and abroad to locate traitors. Con: A Call for Reform- the abolition of the former privy council was one of the final steps in the gradual change from a strictly monarchistic state to an open commonwealth. However, many have voiced their doubt in the current leaders and have made sure their stance is known, adding only more to the growing political unrest.
*Thumbs up*
In my case - There's only one Necromancer, so having Ossuaries everywhere isn't much of an advantage, especially considering they were never intended to raise massive undead armies. And how worship of Mot is now strongly discouraged, leaving body remnants out in the open like that would be seen as bad. I'll keep the Bloodthirsty con, but I'd like to replace my pro with: Songbird Communiques: The warlords and skirmishes of the Fulmen Nati are masters of moving and communicating as widespread guerilla groups moving unseen in the underbrush. One of their more successful strategic advantages has been their successful domestication and breeding of Songbirds, used for surveillance, reconnaissance, and communication across both short and vast distances. Sometimes the only warning you have of a Nati ambush will be the low, pleasant, burbling chirps of unseen birds.
How about this for a different pro then? Winged messengers: Through the use of birds, communication within your nation is quick and secure, though the birds do leave a bit of a mess.
Still a work in progress.

@Cyclone Thank you. That seems in order. I was considering roughly the same additional con trait! :P
So for Pros and Cons, we're allowed to come up with one of each of our own, correct?
Affirmative!
My own rolls! ESSENTIALS Regionally Dense Population (Population - 5,000,000) - Adequate amount of manpower for economic and military purposes, but it also means that the social infrastructure is under increasing strain. Educational costs and civic projects tend to be affordable. Economy - Stagnation - The economy is performing adequately, though there is much room for improvement. There are little limitations on the economy that are bottlenecking real growth, such as a lack of funds or resources, tech limits. There is some unemployment and economic unhappiness among people, and there is a degree of criticism in what can go wrong, even if it hasn't gone wrong yet. Urbanisation - Urbanised: There are several towns and cities present, ranging from a few hundred to several thousand inhabitants. Technology - Slowly Modernizing: The industrial infrastructure is in the process of improvement, and this is a teething process. But the economy is seeing increased activity because of this investment. New technologies are becoming domestically available. However, there is a degree of dependence on imports, including in terms of the expertise to modernize the economy. Metallurgy is limited to bronze and some iron products. Domestic Political Stability - Quite stable GEOGRAPHY Largely consists of hills, jungle and swamps RESOURCES Mineral Deposits - Moderate deposits of metals and minerals. Valuable Mineral Deposits - Trace deposits of rare earth metals, predominately salt. Unique Materials - dyes, incense, timber Agriculture - crop and small livestock based, slight food surplus that is increasing over time MILITARY Military Focus - decent army but excellent navy, relatively decent infantry and cavalry ratio (9:1) Military Recruitment - All Volunteer Force, forced conscription and levies in wartime Reliability - Levies are of decent quality, generals play politics Military Size - mid-size, relative to population: requires some upkeep, relatively difficult to equip/supply quickly. Military Technology - Slow Modernisation, your nation lags behind, you are dependent on what you can buy, pillage or otherwise take from others, but have certain fields of expertise. Military Training and Morale - Highly Trained; High Morale, levies have medium morale but are bad at following orders Military Leadership - Competent; Corrupt; Play at politics Military Reputation - Popular domestically; considered rabble by foreigners Siege Equipment - practically non-existent, instead your army relies on grapling hooks and infiltration Strengths and weaknesses Pro: Sons of the Sea: Masters of travelling on sail-powered vessels, they build their ships better than most when it comes to sailing. Few ships are as fast as a 'Windrider'. The gods of the sea have favoured your people, they will often find the weather suiting their needs and the prayers of sailors seem heard most clearly. Those favoured by the gods rarely get the chance to drown. Con: The Bloody Altars of the Priesthood: The ‘Priesthood’ of your nation that handles all sacrifice and 'magical' power within your realm are a fixture of towns, cities and anywhere your people have gathered in large numbers. As such they can commit the necessary sacrifices anywhere (or unnecessary ones if they feel like it). Human sacrifice is still practiced, and without the proper offerings of blood, flesh and bone your people surely lose the favour of their sanguine gods.
