Yes; I like all of this!
@Bright_OpsAm I insane or do you have 22 traits? Not counting the racial freebies.

I'll have a CS up in a while; a former magocracy overthrown by an oppressed populace, which now focuses extensively on technology.
Are the walkers intended to have any specific weapons? Big blades, or cannons, etc?
@Aristo

To answer your question, traits like Controled Flight and the trail that allows the walkers just means that your nation can produce those sorts of things. You can't really make a dirgible in a timely manner if your people had no idea how to make an airship fly in the first place after all.

But traits as written just seem so redundant: Controlled Flight's effect states "allows you to field dirigibles." Great, I have the know-how to make balloons, and presumably use them for war. But to actually field dirigibles you need "Dirgibles" - "allows you to field an air force."

You'd think that if you had the knowledge to make them in the first place, you could make an air force out of them.

Also, you pick a 'type,' like "They Shall Fall." Great, you can start with 60 interceptors. But then you have to go and spend another point to add interceptors to the 'flight unit' list. It's redundant.
@Romero Updated Tushienia a bit. Cut off the fat as it were. Honestly I misunderstood that army units counted as traits.

Do they, or don't they? I was confused about the same topic. Since they're not explicitly labelled 'traits,' I was inclined to think they didn't count. Doesn't seem like it'd make a lot of sense for some categories either; many traits are made redundant (needing to select & spend both on 'type' and 'unit').
If you spend a trait point to buy the "Controlled Flight" ability, it doesn't make much sense to spend another on "Dirgibles" because it's already a given that you'll have them and can make an air force.
As another example, if you buy the trait that allows you to take walkers, buying walkers themselves in "units" with another trait point makes no sense - you already bought the thing that 'allows' them to exist.

Also @Romero, under Military Units, there are a few duplicate entries - units from light infantry to arquebusiers repeat before getting to the magic and tech-savy stuff.
@AristoCan I begin posting now?

Whenever you're ready! Getting the okay to put your sheet in the Char tab is basically the green light to start posting.

They both take up the external hull, though?

Perhaps add something saying that they are compatible with this, or incompatible with that....?

At first, I had no idea what you were talking about but then I saw that the C3 had 'external coat' under mounting. It must have been a holdover from when I was copy/pasting templates. No, the C3 is an internal suite built into the body.
I just thought about one thing. C3 won't work from stealth or does it in this setting? As a matter of fact, what would be the limitations and drawbacks of the active camo? If C3 works with it and it limits my own vision then I'm positive it'd be an essential part. Other way around and I should probably stick to extra armor.
(sure I got time to post before the exam but I'll need a satisfactory draft before posting any IC)

Edit:
I should just stop posting here about how I might get to post IC as it just keeps backfiring...
I'm very unlikely (again) to get one up today. Tomorrow is a free day though but can't promise anything to begin with.

The active camo is only a visual countermeasure. The surface of your FRAME will take on a hazy pattern resembling the terrain behind it, making it difficult to see. It does not hide heat or radar signatures. That's what ECM is for.

Theoretically, you could have both the camo and C3 on the same FRAME; they don't conflict in any way.
2nd try:

140 frame limit - 85 frame - 47 Armament/Extra = 8w reserve (82% of max capacity)
600k Starting balance - 221.59k Frame - 66.2k Armament/Extra = 312,210c

Odd Note: despite using weapons that did not exist in the original application, ending-balance was nearly identical.

I'm being pestered to post in a few 1x1s and a tac-team RP at the moment

Looks good to me!
I'm a tad disappointed there isn't a heavy cannon or something like that available to us yet.

Sorry; I'll keep this in mind for the next update!
