To say Finnlay was pissed would be an understatement. It didn't take a keen eye to see the anger flowing off of him as he stepped through the doors of the “Black Rose” pub. “They are upstairs sir.” the bartender said with a slightly frightened look on his face. He was never the kind of man to show fear but even he knew something was going down.

Dropping his phone off to the bartender Finnlay began his way up the stairs before he came to a wood door at the top of the stairs. Breathing in slowly he tried to calm himself down slightly so as to not kill someone when he stepped through the door. Opening the door Finnlay saw the Kings already sitting around the table who all stopped when they saw Finnlay enter. “Finnlay good to see you lad.” the man paused for a bit as the door was shut by one of their guards before continuing “something the matter lad?”

“I'll tell you what's wrong. What the hell was with the damned hit on me tonight eh?” he was angry and it showed as he looked to a man who somehow looked both young and old at the same time. “Your lucky I didn't kill your damned assassin tonight.”

“Mr. MacTyre, I assure our intention was to never harm you in any way. However, I am pleased that you managed to not kill our asset. He is rather good at his job of course.”

“I thought we weren't doing anything until later why the sudden jump in the plans.”

“It seems your friends have been rather busy Mr. MacTyre. According to our sources that have been attacking some of our outposts. And for some reason, we are having trouble being able to pinpoint there location.”

“So you want me to find it for you?” Finnlay asked slowly becoming less pissed off. “And then what am I supposed to do exactly?"

“That won't be necessary my boy. You will merely be infiltrating the group and trying to slow them down when you can without blowing your cover. When the moment is right we will give you the signal.” the man paused for a second before standing and walking around the room keeping his eyes on Finnlay at first before looking around at the various pictures and items on the walls. “This attack may even give you the best excuse to get to the location of the base since, your friend his close to them according to the reports we have.” turning around the man looked to Finnlay with a serious look. “If you would follow me we have a few more things to discusses that she has requested.” Slightly surprised Finnlay nodded as he followed the man back down the stairs and outside to a nice car that was waiting for them.

As he approached the car he noticed the man stopped short of the door showing no signs of entering the car. Giving him a questioning look Finnlay nonetheless entered the large SUV knowing it wasn't his place to question a man of his status quite yet. Shutting the car door Finnlay looked up to see a beautiful redheaded woman sitting in front of him. “It's good to see you Finny.” Finnlay couldn't help but let out a small laugh at hearing his nickname. as soon as he looked up he moved forward kissing the women in the car. as they pulled apart the looked at each other for a second before Hail Hydra,” escaped both their lips in unison
Kenji Kata

Kenji was in one of the many training fields around the Hidden Sand practicing as he always did. His team didn't have a mission today which gave him some free time to train. Normally he would have been up to hang out with his teammates but he wanted to be alone today to clear his head.

Looking at the practice dummy not far from him that was the poor target of Kenji's frustrations today looked like it had been through hell. Closing his eyes he breathed in deep before exhaling slowly. As the last of his air left his body his chains dropped from their place around his wrist as he began to skillfully twist and turn snapping the blades across the dummy in front of him leaving deep cuts in it. After several moves, Kenji came to a stop as his chains returned to their place on his arm.

“Well it seems you have been practicing a lot.” came a voice from behind him

Snapping around instantly knowing whose voice that belonged to. “Dad!?” he asked shocked at his father's sudden appearance. “What are you doing here. I thought you were all out on the front lines?” Kenji was confused as to why his dad would be here with the war going on. To say the two looked identical would be an understatement. It seemed as if Kenji had made a clone Jutsu slightly taller than normal and put a Jounin jacket on it. holding the same smile and having the same attitude it really did seem as if it were two of the same person standing in front of each other.

With a somber Expression, Kenji's father looked down at his son. “That's just it son. Most of the jounin have returned to the village for a short time. These first few months have been rough on the village and her manpower.” Resting a hand on his son's shoulder he continued “To be blunt Many of the jounin have fallen in battle already in the fighting.”

Kenji’s eyes nearly doubled in size at the news of the front and how it was working. He knew all too well that war would be costly but to hear that after only a few months most of the higher ranks that had been sent to ‘End the war quickly’ had been killed was like a gut punch. “What does that mean? What's going to happen now?” he quickly asked trying to wrap his head around the whole decision.

With a somber look in his eyes, his dad continued “you know how much I don't want to see you out there after..” he seemed to trail off a bit while looking off into the distance. Shaking his head a bit he continued. “That's why I'm here. You and the other Chunin and Genin are going to be put on the front to help in the war effort.”

Looking surprised for only a moment Kenji instantly put on a calm face once more. “It's fine dad I know. It will be an honor to fight for the village in the war. And don't worry I knew what I was getting into when I decided I wanted to be a Ninja.”

“That's what scares me,” his father said with a smile and a small laugh. “Well since I'm already here and we have some time left what do you say to a little spar to see if you're ready?”

“Bring on old timer. Don't be surprised if I beat you at your own game.” Kenji replied as he let the Chain Whips drop from his sleeves dropping into his stance.

Mimicking his son his chain whips also dropped down as he began to spin them slowly getting into a rhythm. "Glad to see your self-confidence hasn't faltered one bit in my absence." after finishing the whips stopped suddenly before being shot right at Kenji.
Thomas Arashi

Thomas walked out into the bright light from the tunnel where he had been waiting along with a few other duelists that were waiting to go. Looking across the field he saw his opponent waiting patiently for his challenger. “Odd choice of clothing.” Thomas thought when he saw the man was in a full Baseball uniform. “I'll beat him either way.” he thought to himself. looking up to his Procter Thomas called out “So your who I have beat to get into this academy? So be it.”

“Big words punk,” The man said as he stood firm, feet placed equidistant apart as his arm reached up to his duel disk, A more recent model. As the solid light, with a white hue on the edge of the blackboard would appear. “Rule of thumb for these duels kid. You decide if your swinging or batting. First or second got it?” His words were fast strict and clear like all coaches should be.

“Really gonna stick with the coach gimmick huh? Well to each their own.” Thomas said as he lifted his arm activating his duel disk. Being an older model, the sides flew forward linking together before moving to the side as Thomas brought it to be parallel to the ground. He noticed the coach and most people always had new versions of the duel disk but he had to admit that he had a soft spot for the older style of things. “I think I will start our little show here if you don't mind coach,” Thomas called out setting his gaze on his opponent.

“Duel!” They would call in unison

Thomas Arashi

Thomas could see the large campus of Mitsuri coming into view from his position inside the fairy that had been tasked with bringing new students to its doors. It was quite large and even at this distance, it looked quite state of the art by his standards. Unlike many of his peer who had spent the trip talking amongst themselves and playing pick up duels, Thomas sat in the same seat for just about the whole ride unmoving. Looking around he could see other would be students sorting their deck and going over a few last things before they reached the shore. Almost letting a “Hmf” escape his mouth Thomas again set his gaze on the school coming into view. “I will find the others.” he thought as his glance settled for a split second on his deck box attached to his belt.

As soon as the ship had made port Thomas grabbed his duffle bag that contained what he needed for his stay outside of his duel disk and deck which always stayed on his person. Throwing it over his shoulder Thomas calmly and confidently walked straight towards the main gates of the Campus.

Stepping through the threshold of what was now the Campus where he would be spending a few years he was impressed by the sheer size and magnitude of the whole campus for being so new. Looking to his left he could see the large round arena built for speed duels. “Can't wait to try that” he said to himself before he began to walk forward once again. In Front of him, he could see a large multi-layer building in front of him that clearly was the main building for the school. As he approached the building he saw a few other students entering the building ready for their entrance exams. Entering into the lobby he saw a woman seated behind the desk taking peoples name.

“Thomas Arashi here for my entrance exam.”

“Oh yes of course. You all good to go just wait in the stands until you are called.”

“Thank you,” Thomas said with a smile as he entered the large auditorium with other students already seated awaiting their turn to be called. Finding a seat by itself Tomas placed his bag down and leaned back into the chair. He watched for a few seconds before looking at the other students that were awaiting their time. To be expected most of them looked like they were nervous or scared. Looking to the side of him a few seats down he saw a girl with blonde hair appearing to be studying every duel at once with an intense glare. “At least someone else here is serious,” he said to himself before shutting his eyes to relax. Almost instantly after shutting his eyes he heard his name called and his dueling pad. Standing from his seat he walked straight to where he had been told the staging area was for the duelist. Placing his deck into his duel disk Thomas walked forward out into the arena. “Just the first step in my journey I suppose,” he said to himself as he stopped across from his opponent with a deadly serious look on his face.
