Just found out my left kidney wasn't done and decided I needed to deal with a second stone before I even passed the first one.

Kidney stone blocking the ureter...yay...thankfully only 4mm so it don't need surgery, just some meds. But that pain I felt is certainly not an ideal way to wake up.

I dun want to say it, but I have to.

I'm probably going to leave this RP. Mainly due to this RP being....how to put it...'dead horse'
We keep using the idea, only to not get very far by the time its slowed down. And this one is no exception. I understand life gets in the way, but we haven't even gotten to the break out yet (partly my fault) All we've had is Sam go berserk, causing the heavily armed guards to come out. Other than that, we've really only taken a tiny step forward.

I also don't want to pester Lyra about how I could go about breaking everyone out. Seeing how she really isn't in the mood for the RPing stuffs.

Plus, I'm only getting a major case of writers block when it comes to this RP. Other RPs I have so many ideas on how to have my characters act, and what they do. Here..I can't even think of what to do with Church anymore. Let alone the office staff of the building that group just walked into.

So Gunther, is this a replacement or will you run 2 subs?

I thought he was running two surface ships o 3o

TheEvanCat said
Ukraine uses them! :P

I bet they do XD
TheEvanCat said
We don't use diesels anymore

Tis why I mentioned a WW2 sub in my example XD

Submarines are best at Anti Surface Warfare and Strategic Missile launches. Yes, they can hunt and engage other submerged submarines, but it is not their primary role. They are ship killers. Destroyers and Frigates serve the role of hunting and killing submarines more efficiently. Besides, submerged boats are slower than surface ships.

That logic is valid for ships that use batteries to power their engines when submerged (ie U-Boat VII and variants without a Snorkel) where the batteries have less output than the diesels when surfaced.

However, in modern times, where submarines are powered by engines that can run in both states (surfaced and submerged) they either loose a few knots, or even go faster submerged than surfaced. As well as being engineered to be hydrodynamic when submerged
Wernher said
Well, submarines can destroy other submarines, but still, can we have multiple ships?

What I was going to say. Especially since my sub will be an Attack Sub, thus giving a sort of a multi-role position XD
And having multiple ships would be cool. But running the crew on board the ships would be hellish. Since running one ships crew is hell enough in a combat scenario XD
this then?
or this?

Yes, that's exactly the one, thanks. And I had a feeling it wasn't called something straight forward, as you mentioned. Thanks for finding it though :)

I knew it sounded familiar, but I was too sure :P
Can't really play my AC4 anymore, it somehow got insanely scratched up. Can only play up to the 5th or so mission then it freaks out
But if that 'briefing' music don't get you pumped.

I like the one from Ace Combat 4, personally - it sounds kind of punchy, a bit 'formal', but gets the blood up a bit for a 'yeah, let's do this!' Of course, I'm interested to see what everyone else says.

You mean this one?

Hardest part about finding AC4's briefing music is that it isn't called briefing XD

Woah, me too. But then again, that kind of thing is regular for me. It's especially cool when I don't realize I'm dreaming, so all the emotions of adrenaline, fear and determination feel all too real.

Had that with another game I like :P XGRA. Dreamt I was driving (well, I guess you could say riding since they are 'bikes') and woke up with pains from how I was tossing about and what not.
