Just found out my left kidney wasn't done and decided I needed to deal with a second stone before I even passed the first one.

Kidney stone blocking the ureter...yay...thankfully only 4mm so it don't need surgery, just some meds. But that pain I felt is certainly not an ideal way to wake up.

How would Konrad and his employers know about Church? She'd just be another face from Ark Corp.
Sam was a bit confused. What caused the explosion? How did an explosion even happen? They usually kept things under such tight watch, that something like this would never happen. She shook her head, no time to think about that now. This was the only chance to escape. Her neck bind was still strong, and the replacement wrist and ankle binds weren't really strong, meant to be place holders while they got the proper replacements. She broke those ones off quite easily and used the amount of power should could to bust the neck bind off. It worked, and she felt everything flow, and able to sense that pretty much the whole base was without power, only sources of power she could sense came from those exo-skeletons that were wondering about, looking for escaping supers. She also sensed a few small personal generators, most connected to computers so data could be transferred from them to a data drive.

She ran out of her room just ask Dark for everyone to get out of their rooms.
Elizabeth walked out of her room, bruises marked her body. She had been tossed about her room from the explosions. She swiftly and silently walked towards where people would soon be gathering. She stopped next to Dark, then spun on her heels to face the direction he was. She leaned over and whispered "What's the plan?"
Church smirked when the DevGru team secured the LZ. "We'll send Valk 2 in first to soften up the defenses. Once they're soft enough, we go in, everyone got that?" She spoke into the comms, those in the craft she was in gave a nod while other teams responded vocally. "You catch that Gerard? We're counting on you and your team to guide our strike craft, she'll be on station till she's either out of ammo, out of fuel, or heavily damaged" Church said via a comm link with Gerard. "We'll be there approximately five to ten minutes after she arrives"

Shortly After
"This is Valkyrie 2, we're on station, give us some targets" The craft hovered a few miles out, bordering on the edge of danger, but it is well equipped for such an environment.
Shortly after take-off, Elizabeth had joined up on Alexander's wing as everyone sped towards the combat zone. Upon arrival, the scene seemed all too familiar. Tracers and contrails filled the skies, as well as missile trails. Before jumping into the fray, she observed from afar, looking for stragglers, or enemy aircraft the were trying to avoid the fight.

When she heard the CAC Fighter pilot say that the enemy was a mix of Estovakians and Yuktobanians. She sighed, then spoke into her headset with a soft, quiet voice "Slypheed, Engaging." Barely noticeable above engine noises, gunfire, and explosions. She pushed the Draken to its limits as it screamed down into the fray. She was going to push this Interceptor. That's when she noticed a Fishbed trailing an ally. The Emmerian pilot if she remembered correctly. Elizabeth turned to intercept the MiG-21 before it could do any more harm.

As she closed the distance, her gaze became sharp and focused on the timing of firing a single SDM at the right moment would do more than enough damage to take the Fishbed out of the fight. The constant tone of the lock ringing in her ears, and once the right moment arrive, she fired a one SDM. "Slypheed, Fox Two." The moment the missile was out and heading towards its target, Elizabeth pulled from the engagement. No time to stick around and see, AWACs would be the only who could tell her that at this point. She screamed off and top speed, kicking up water as she briefly flew near its surface before pulling up to gain an altitude advantage if she was to spot another craft. But unluckily for her, she had been spotted first. Damn, the water spray must have more noticeable than I thought. Elizabeth thought as she heard the tell-tale warning of a missile intended for her, and immediately dove.

Hardly. Buildings were destroyed, but not leveled. That implies that there's no trace of the building. Many buildings in London were left in pieces, but technically still standing. Far from leveled. And cart, I'm with you, but didn't the US pretty much bombard Baghdad with missiles and bombers? 1991 gulf war. Sure, not on the scale that Jason in suggesting, but still. And I think you mean the UN, not NATO... Yeah, the rules weren't exactly followed during the Gulf War and the invasion of Iraq... White Phosphrus, which was declared inhumane by the Geneva Convention, because it is technically a chemical attack, was used by American troops to flush out insurgents in Iraq. In war, rules tend to be broken. A lot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_phosphorus_use_in_IraqIf this is taking place in america, then there would be more reason NOT to use arty and strikes. It would destroy much of the city and cause millions of damage. Not to mention irreplaceable damage to monuments and the sort. Tanks are already pushing it, but if I'm controlling the other side, there won't be an airstrike or artillery unless it was an extreme situation. Even capture of a city would not warrant that as well. Maybe if the leaders of the side hunting down the supers were in danger, or imminent destruction of a war factory would warrant a strike. And it would not be made lightly. If there a civilians around, air support and artillery would likely be declared not an opinion anyway, killing civies is a great way to get the public on the other side..

While the chemical weapons/WMDs shouldn't be used. If we are to use the Nazi-esque regime, I don't think they'll care much for the destruction of a city. So long as it means the Supers are dead, they'll consider the loss of a few hundred innocent lives, as well as the cost to rebuild, worth it
Silverwind Blade said Related to the game, my questions are that are there any heavy bombers in this group we're fighting, or is it all fighters?

As well as a question I has.

Whale.I,Agree with Carty and Sly. Let's leave chemical warfare to the countries, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be throwing chemical weaponry around like marshmallows . Plus it makes things more complicated.Just my opinion though. o3o

I likes your opinion o 3o
It gets the "Sly seal of approval"

Because you're talking about leveling an entire city ._. that could dramatically change the flow of RP! You can't just shrug off thousands of folks dying like we usually did in the old ones... It just don't feel right with me

Yeah!
Besides, only Sam can do that o 3o
