Webster groaned as he saw Ky' vie and Deon reach the top, with Ky' vie grabbing the helmet before the Grand Majesty of Prickiness could do so. Webster smirked at that. As long as Deon didn't win, Webster could walk away feeling good about himself. He swiftly climbed down to the ground, where his half-siblings greeted him with smiles and claps on the back. He finally broke away from his brothers and sisters and strolled over to Erin's group, grinning.

"Helluva time that was. You did good up there Bex, gotta hand it to you. I thought you might even take it there for a second," Webster said, grinning at the daughter of Zeus. That girl was a bit of an enigma, that much was certain, but Erin liked her so she was cool in his book. Webster turned to the daughter of Hades and Syleste, offering up a small wave to the duo, as well as to Niesha and Michael. "Hey guys," Webster said, grinning.

Webster cared deeply for Erin and Syleste. They were practically sisters to him, especially Erin. The daughter of Hades was a pain in the ass, but she was his pain in the ass. Not in a gross, making out kinda way. Webster would never go out with Erin, but he'd punch someone in the face for her, that much was true. Syleste and her impossible ideas made Webster's life all the more fun, and he'd spent plenty of time trying to get one of her plans to work. She was a fun time, and a genuinely nice person. He admired that. As for his two half siblings, the twins, he hadn't gotten to know them too well yet, but they seemed cool enough. He'd have to see though.

Maggie raised an eyebrow at Natalie's introduction. A smirk played across her face. One of Artemis' precious maidens was to be their newest instructor? Interesting. Maggie couldn't help but think that this was some sort of ploy on the goddess' part, some sort of plan designed to keep the camp and it's campers under the watchful eye of the virgin goddess. Maggie had been living in this world long enough to know that when it came to the gods, there were always ulterior motives.

"Nice to meet you. We should thank Artemis that she could spare you for little ol' us," Maggie said, grinning, her eyes sparkling with the twinkling of mischief that seemed to play in her eyes at all times. "To answer your question, I'd say I'm one of the better shots here. See, us Hermes kids, we don't really have any talents from Pops, at least none that lend themselves to our use in the arena. So, we have to actually train. Those Apollo kids, they're naturally good, and it makes them cocky. Also makes them easy to surpass, if you really want to." Maggie grinned and laughed. "Plus, I'm absolute ass with a sword. I had to have something to work with. How you can help me? That's simple. Give me a challenge."
Will try and get a response up tomorrow :)

When Maggie woke up most of her cabin had already vacated, off to go enjoy some camp activities. While there was normally a set wake up time at camp, Maggie had proven that being woken up before she wanted to would only get someone injured, and so most just let her sleep. No one wanted to see Maggie Hartford angry, and if there was one thing that made Maggie furious, it was when her sleep got interrupted. Sitting up and sliding off of the top bunk, she landed with silently, spinning around gracefully to face the dresser she shared with her bunkmate. Picking out an outfit that was simple yet showed off her good looks, she skipped outside, a smile on her face.

While most of the camp was thrilled for the Obstacle Tower, Maggie was more excited to watch, and also bug Chiron about the camp's lack of a decent archery instructor. They'd been without one for a while now, and Maggie had taken to training with the Apollo kids, which was a grand ol' time, until they started breaking out into song, or poetry, or on a bad day, both..

Skipping over to the amphitheater where most of the camp was currently watching the events on the tower, Maggie scanned the area for Chiron. Instead, she found someone even more interesting. A girl she recognized as a Maiden of the Hunt, though she hadn't seen her for some time, since the fiasco that was the Maidens vs Camp Capture the Flag game.. Grinning, she came to a stop with a slight hop in front of the Maiden, and extended her hand. "I haven't seen you around before and you're much too confident looking to be a newbie. I'm Maggie Hartford, daughter of Hermes," the blonde girl said, confidently. " I was hoping to speak with Chiron, I'm still waiting on a new archery instructor! The Apollo kids are only so good" she said with a chuckle.

Cassie hated the Obstacle Tower more than anything else. The cheers of the crowd, the sheer chaos of everything was often too much for her, and it often resulted in her becoming so hopped up on energy that she crashed down and became especially mopey and tired for the next day or two. So today she avoided the amphitheater, despite the fact that she knew Deon would be there, being his usual cocky self. Not that she liked him or anything. Nope, not her.

After getting dressed for the day, Cassie meandered out to the lake, sitting down on the beach and letting the water lap lightly at her bare feet, giggling a bit as the cold tickled her toes. She liked the quiet of the water, and couldn't help but grin as she looked out over the glass lake, a picture of tranquility. She probably looked like a madwoman, giggling and grinning at a body of water, but she could care less. In all honesty, she was a madwoman.

She had another reason for being at the lake that day however. For days now, she'd had a feeling that something...bad was about to happen. Her siblings agreed with her, though none of them could pin the feeling exactly. All they could say was that they each had some sort of anticipation, as if they were waiting for something, although none of them knew what exactly. She had instructed her half-siblings to keep this quiet, but she was worried. Somehow she felt that it was all going to come to a head today. She wasn't sure if she was ready for that.
Working on posts for Maggie and Cassie! Maggie will be chatting up her brand new archery instructor @Feisty-Pants :D

The heads of the Helmsley household may have awoken before 6 AM, but Caleb hadn't even gone to sleep. There were two reasons for this. One of them was a story for the Gazette that needed to be finished that night. And the other reason involved a chiseled jawline and a flawless six pack. What could he say? Caleb really, really, really loved both of those things. And boy, did Logan Graham have both of those things.

If Caleb had a weakness, Logan Graham was it. Tall, built, and charming as hell, Logan Graham was the heir to GTech, one of the leading computer companies, a giant corporation that kept Logan well dressed and well fed. He was also the star of Lakewood Academy's football team, and so began the tumultuous affair that was Caleb and Logan's relationship.

Caleb had simply been trying to get an interview with Logan about the football team, and how he felt going into the upcoming season. He ended up with both a stellar interview, and an affair that spanned from janitorial closets at Lakewood Academy to the comfort of Caleb's room. Basically, they did it everywhere. And normally, this wouldn't be too much of a problem. Except Logan Graham was not out of the closet yet. And to make matters worse, he had a girlfriend. Caleb Helmsley, in a stellar show of hypocrisy, talked trash about homewreckers on the Lakewood Scandalmonger, and then shut his laptop and became one himself. Sure, there wasn't an actual home to be wrecked, but someone was going to end up burned.

With that background out of the way, we can discuss the events of the morning of July 25th. With his article done by 12:30, Logan was sneaking onto the giant estate by 1:00, and the two neglected to even sleep. They were so wrapped up in each other that Caleb was shocked when he heard his parents' music blasting through the house, although he was counting on the fact that neither of them would check up on him. He was very wrong, and luckily he had well trained ears from years of his mother barging into his room, or else he would have had a lot of explaining to do. The minute he heard the dull thud of his mother's footsteps coming towards his door, he shoved a naked Logan into his closet, chuckling at the irony, before covering himself up and pretending to be asleep.

His eyes fluttered open at his mom's voice, and he smiled his innocent smile, and proceeded to shoo Logan out of his room the moment she'd shut his door. "Okay, get out of here, now," Caleb hissed, shoving Logan's clothes into his arms. The other boy simply smirked and went to nibble at the youngest Helmsley's neck. Caleb smirked in response before shoving his lover away, and shaking his head. "I'll see you at the auction tonight. Now get out of here before someone catches you," he said, laughing.

Caleb wasn't necessarily worried about his family learning about his sexuality. He was more or less out to most people, though he'd never really talked to his parents about it. But people at school knew and his sister as well, obviously. His sister even knew about Logan, but he still wasn't sure how to approach the subject with his mom and father, and so he would prefer to keep Logan a secret from them.

Once his lover was gone, he got dressed and began an article for the Scandalmonger, before heading down to the spacious dining room for breakfast, smiling at his mother and sister as he took a seat. "Morning. Breakfast looks good Mom, thanks!" Caleb grinned as he heaped food onto his plate, not bothering to wait for his father. If he wanted them to eat with him, he should've been there on time.
