Hi! I'm sorry for disappearing from the OOC, everyone. I had to finalize some plans to attend a convention, settling badge purchases and hotel reservations. rip wallet

I usually communicate through Ambra when she posts, though, so I've been paying attention to stuff. I'll be finishing Sigurd Lear today, then get an IC post up. Oh, and I'll also look at the new character, afterwards.
I still waiting for Isla to even exist

I think it's fine to post as Isla. I don't think we have any extraordinary ideas that we need to discuss, and with the clarification of her family, I'll accept her (just post your character in the tab + make sure to update it accordingly once the Lady of Lear is up and stuff!).

Hey, we're going over the characters now. It'll be done within the next half hour!
I'm really liking everyone's characters. Seems it was worth the patience to cast such good writers. :)
Soren Rathmore

It had been a very long time since the last gathering of the major Houses. With the North still a ways from the Windkeep, the South wasted no time in flaunting their attendance among the city that spectated. The tournament was one of fun and jest, but also of great importance; glory was to be won, as many knights from the three regions, whether their fealty was sworn to a lord or a sword seeking vows to take, had come to demonstrate the greatness of their regions.

As the King of Estiala, Soren Rathmore reminisced of his youth as a hand felt his clean-shaven chin. He had come to witness the great knights many times, and such a festival of prosperity was a ray of solace in the times of grief. The sixty-eight year old watched as the squires saw to fitting their knights with their attire, smiling as he turned to his wife.

"Your Grace," one of his attendants hovered along his side. "Lord Lear has arrived."

Rufus Santer

Rufus Santer had been up to no good. While his liege had obliged the young man that it was no issue to roam the city of the Windkeep as they awaited for the arrival of the Northerners, the squire found himself having too much fun, as the Raleis frequently told him.

Cursing as he rushed to bring his clothing back to his rightful body, Rufus kept his eyes on his reflection, paying no heed to the other pair of eyes that fit the woman's devious smirk.

"Where must you go?" she called out to him, her fingers twining along several locks of her dark hair. Rufus clicked his tongue a few times, continuing to clothe himself in a hurry as the naked woman watched him.

"To the tourney," Rufus replied as he slipped his pair of boots tight against his feet, making sure that he was as presentable as when House Ralei arrived. "It's almost time."

The woman sighed apathetically, rolling to her back. "So soon?"

As Rufus finished grooming himself, the male dug into his pocket and flicked a single silver towards the bed, grinning. "A squire mustn't be late to attend his knight."
Wynaut a sneak peek into the Eastern Region

Hm. With that clarification, I could see your character probably working along @Hippocamp with his Spymaster, for some odd reason. Not that you have to, of course.

I like the sound of the idea thus far, so you can go through with it now and I'll help you along the way with any explanations you might need. :D
The idea that we came up with is that I'd play the part of a preferred hitman/assassin/agent of one of the houses with her playing the part of some noblewoman of some form. As you can probably guess, we fall in love but then I'm assigned to take out members of her house and eventually her dividing my character between loyalty and love, should be something interesting that we hope can be worked in some how ^^

Can this work some how?

So in this universe, your proposed character idea would make yours an assassin or a sellsword.
Roman's character would probably be a cousin / aunt in one of the major Houses, or Roman could create a minor House where she can have that Lord's daughter, I'd assume. No more children characters for the major Houses, though.

It does seem like an interesting idea. Of course, in this time period, their relationship would be forbidden, and if allowed, very frowned down upon. So as long as that's represented and things are kept realistic, that aspect is fine.

Most of the questions would lie in the assassin/sellsword character. Who/where is their contractor? Why is this contractor intent on killing nobles? Given that security within each and every House is tight, this would also mean that your character can't simply have experience in slaying nobles, as well, so this questions their abilities.

There'd just be many things to clear up.

Also, due to a certain feisty potato, I'm forced to ask if there's going to be something like White Walkers or something behind the Eastern wall? (Asian ninja samurai zombies? c: )

Personally, I'd like to keep this a bit of a hidden secret that only the Lords and potentially their children would know from stories as of now, but there is something out there, I can tell you. :)
Hi I'm here. Sorry for disappearing, a shadow has a home in the dark.

I'll tag all of the Lear characters in a private conversation to discuss any plans for biography similarities and stuff.

Today, I'll begin writing the first post in cooperation with Ambra. We'll be closing the roleplay off from new players soon, so whoever is still working, please finish soon.
Bump!

We are in need of characters for the Great House of the North, House Lear; we are in dire need of the Head of House Lear, specifically. As this is a Game of Thrones based roleplay, the North in this roleplay is strictly based on the North of the series, and so, the Lears are like the Starks, if interested.
Hi, just got off of Ambra's account to make some edits to the regional posts.

I've finished the coat of arms for both House Lear and House Ralei.
They're not spectacular, of course. But they're there just for a good idea of what the House colors are, and their sigils.

House Rathmore's snake sigil is giving quite a good amount of trouble, which is why I'm postponing its creation for tomorrow or some other time.

I'll definitely also look into revising some of the wording in the regional posts. But another time.

Me is tired.
