Lie To Survive [18+]

In the old town of Ravenfall a dark secret is hidden in the minds of the inhabitants, their ancestors and their children. Several years ago, an unofficial war took place between two groups: the people that knew nothing and just lived their lives like they always had been doing and the people that kidnapped and/or murdered some of their enemies in secret, without any witnesses or any clue of the (wo)man to have ever existed. It took them a long time to finally confront each other directly and make a deal to finally have peace, but they did.

A tv show was born in which the participants had to live together in an abandonned villa with a big garden where wild animals from the nearby forest were looking out for their next victim. A group of young adults (18-20 years) and a group of older adults (25-30) got randomly chosen without even applying to participate and without the right to refuse. They get an e-mail on the computer saying they have to be there and risk going to jail or even getting capital punishment (or commonly known as 'getting hanged').

Within the house, the rules are very simple: stay alive. Once every three days around noon, every candidate gets an interview that is shown on tv and for everyone available to watch. At the end of the interview, they get a piece of paper on which a command is written to (for example) say something mean to someone, mess with them, steal something from them, ... Anything can be on it, except for murder. The deadline for the command to be done is before the next interview, otherwise they get punished.

Everything is allowed inside the house, even doing illegal things like theft, rape, murder, ... At least: as long as you don't get caught. If you get caught, you get punishment. What that punishment I am talking about is? You will know if you risk to get it...

Another rule: don't let your real identity get known. You have to create a whole new identity, create the history of your fake identity and make it believable for the audience. If you don't succeed at making it believable, you get a message from the creators of the tv show with warnings that they may damage your house, threaten your family, ...

A nice, dramatic kind of soap to entertain everyone for which several persons get sacrificed, that's the deal.
If you succeed at letting your true identity stay hidden, you can go back to your everyday life after the tv show is done.
But if you fail at that... What kind of life will you be leading afterwards?

I don't have a preference as of how frequently you can post, but I prefer you let me know beforehand if you are someone who posts daily, once a week, once in two weeks, once a month, ... That way we won't have unnecessary discussions.
Please be able to write at least two paragraphs and put your characters name with every post to avoid confusion.

Angie Sanchez

20 years

She is an optimistic girl that likes to talk to people and have long conversations about anything. People often see her as a sweet girl and a good friend, but also superficial and with low intelligence which means that she will never make it. There are many people who keep her as a friend, but there are no close friendships. They think of her as too childlike for that.

Her favorite activities are watching movies, taking pictures of herself (sometimes with a professional photographer) and shopping. She likes popcorn (and even more if she can eat it while watching a movie), the smell of perfume and flashy colours. Her favorite colors are yellow, blue and green (which you may notice by looking at her picture). However, she despises makeup, going into the shower instead of in the bad and being underestimated by people.

As she is such a fan of movies, she always dreamed of being into one herself as an actress. That is why she applied immediatly after graduating from high school to a college close to where she lived, so she could study for a bachelor in theater studies. She is currently in her second year.

She is especially good at pretending to be someone else, but never showed it to anyone. They know that she studies theater, but they don't know that she is one of the best students. Her fears are snails, failing at her acting (which normally doesn't happen) and romance.

She comes from a rich family where she is seen as the youngest (even though she isn't), the laziest and the one with the least manners.

She pretends to be someone who is quiet, doesn't talk much and doesn't smile often. Her false identity is a girl who avoids being around people and has a(n attractive kind of) mysterious air around her. She pretends to like makeup, trying on every dress she has and drawing (even though she is average at it). That is why she says that at college she is in her first year of a bachelor in fashion.

Mia is a poor girl who doesn't have much money and lives alone with her hardworking father who does everything so that his daughter wouldn't miss anything.

Enjoying whatever they had to drink, she looked around to see if anyone interesting was inside of the room. However, she prefered to be alone as the others would probably annoy her. She took another cup inside of her hand and a rag she found into the other. As the music that was currently one wasn't to her taste, she decided to wipe away the drinks other people had spilled upon the table and the dirt that was left on it before the party even began. She hated how the people that organised it, didn't even take the effort to clean the place up for the party.

When she decided that the table looked like how she wanted it to look, she put away the rag, drank her cup empty and took another one. The music started to change into something she liked better then before and in an elegant way she started dancing to the music with her eyes closed in the middle of the dancing floor. She was happy whenever she could do something active, when she could move. Dancing like this to music she liked was like heaven for her.

Her dress went up a bit in a turn and suddenly she felt someones hand upon her hip, she didn't like to be touched and the thing was that the hand was far too low to her opinion. She stopped dancing, stood still and slowly opened her eyes with a fierce look in her eyes. Her head wasn't yet turned to the guy who did it and her mouth was carefull at forming the words: "What... do... you... think... you are...doing?" she whispered in a confident and angry voice.

Her head turned to the guy and her hand slapped him right in his face. He obviously was startled as Aubree was stronger then she looked. "Don't... do... that... ever... again!" she said as she moved her head away from the guy.

Summary of locations in the villa in Ravenfall where the tv show takes place:

- the garden where wild animals are hiding to search for their next victim
- the library where every book is covered in dust and some have holes in their pages as sign for snails to be present
- a long hall with all the bedrooms and where the old, wooden floor has the habit of creaking

- the living room where you can hope for the television to work
- a private room that you can only enter if you have an interview to take, the only place that looks neat and modern
- the basement of which you would like the door to stay open, otherwise it might get difficult to get out
