Interested. Curious to know how magical girl characters should be made, for instance, following with the theme of Madoka, each magical girl had a unique weapon theme, and a particular magical gimmick. For example, Sayaka used sabers and had regeneration, Mami used flintlock rifles and could summon ribbons to bind the opponent, Homura's weapon was a shield that could manipulate time, Kyouko used a spear and could summon illusions (according to supplementary material), while Madoka used a bow though her magical gimmick wasn't ever shown.

I guess the question is, what are the limits to what the magical gimmicks are allowed to be? And can weapons be repeated, since there are only so many weapon types in the world?
In Tsumiki's case, it's because once he was named Student Council President and had some free time, he started learning about everybody in the class, so he would know that Shizuka can't stand loud noises like fire alarms.

You remembered that little detail about Shizuka, you have my respect.
Hey! Just wanted to give this a kick to see if this is still going to be a thing,
Hey, sorry for the really delayed post.

If you want to just explore a bunch of places simultaneously to move things along, I can describe them to you similar to how I described the hangar, and feel free to take some control of Tera if you need to. Or if you want to explore places one post at a time, that works too.
It would probably be better the better option if you want to play out Claire's interactions with Tera more.

I left Israfil there in case you wanted to bring him along. If you don't, he'll go do his own thing.
Charles led Mike around the hangar, showing him the locations of important tools, instrument and diagnostics panels, vehicles for transporting cogs and parts, and the massive doors and the very back of the hanger that led to the Cadmus reactor. The Cadmus reactor was where the cogs were built, and where they would go when they needed upgrades. He showed Mike where the elevators were that led to the catwalks, how some catwalks were reserved specifically for letting the pilots get to their cogs as fast as possible, and which catwalks were for the mechanics so that they wouldn't get in the way of the pilots if a scramble was ordered. He reminded Mike of the importance of logging his name, s well as his start and finish times whenever running maintenance on a cog, especially if he needed to enter the cockpit to work on the stuff in there. The necessity of logging was so that if anything went wrong, it was clear who would be responsible, especially if it was a case of enemy sabotage. Charles didn't really seem to mind that Mike was late, he went through everything as if it were 'business as usual'. He did say, however, that yesterday, everyone got to familiarize themselves with the ship, but today, they were doing some last minute maintenance and polish on the cogs, who would be seeing action for the first time as soon as the coming operation began, and that Mike would have to help them complete the maintenance before he could let Mike explore the ship. He also told Mike that he had 'homework' in his drive: information on all the cogs that he would have to read up on so that he knew the intricacies and nuances of repairing and maintaining each unique machine.

"I know it's a lot to take in, but if they sent you to this ship, then you're either already really good, or you've got tremendous potential," Charles said.

"Of course I don't mind," Tera replied, glad that Claire was so amicable, "Where would you like to go first? If you don't have a preference, I'd like to check out our living quarters."

After Mike left, Israfil indecisively stood around a bit, wondering what he should do with himself.
I was going to say Tsumiki would be less likely to find her guilty, but then I realized if you're talking to someone when something happens, they're unlikely to think you're behind it.

As you were.

Yeah, honestly, most of the JUDGMENT characters have more-or-less already figured out who did it (Is Kaori bad at hiding evidence and framing another culprit or is it meta-gaming? You decide!). But I did let everyone know that it was something I wanted to do, so I felt it would be weird if I didn't follow through with it (my reasoning was I originally wanted to make Shizuka kind of a butt-monkey for jokes and pranks). Even if it doesn't ultimately get Shizuka in trouble, it will at least be a plot device to have her meet other people.
Let it all out Stern, let it all out. *puts on psychologist glasses*

Do you have any idea from where does this rants of yours started, my dear Stern?

It's more of a sociological issue rather than a psychological one. My sister is an activist so it's rubbed off on me. Down with White Patriarchy!

And see here, to teach you about this world of 'wincest', we need some things. First, go bring the closest relative to you about the same age as you. I just hafta warn you, my classes are purely practical.

Same age? SAME AGE?! Freud would be ashamed, same age indeed! And you call yourself a psychiatrist. JK

Oh that's right is seat 28 actually available??

Seat 28 should be available, but I'm starting to lose track of all the new characters popping in. Ata any rate ,GM said we'll be havign a seat reshuffle soon so don't fret about it.

So anyways, sorry for the super-delayed post, the time skip completely caught me off-guard. I tried writing my post in a way that would take into account the events that have transpired (though I would appreciate that I not get left behind like this again in the future pwease). Since @Lennon79 hasn't posted yet, can you make Wataru be the JUDGMENT student that the electronics club student runs into. I wanted our characters to interact a bit more before the sprinklers went off :P
Otonashi Shizuka

For a long moment Wataru was sure he had offended the girl. Panicking slightly, he ran one hand through his hair, wondering if perhaps it was a mess or... Luckily her expression soon relaxed, at least a little bit. 'Otonashi-san, then? I look forward to studying together; let's have a good year.' Flashing a genuine smile, he mentally analysed the girl and her reactions; Otonashi was nervous, furtive. She seemed embarrassed by her level, which he could understand; most of their classmates would likely be 3s and 4s. Wataru himself was only a low level 3, so he could sympathise. 'Do you mind if I ask-' His question was cut off by the entrance of that blue woman, presumably their homeroom teacher. Giving Otonashi a friendly wink, Wataru faced forward and gathered his class materials.

Shizuka looked up from her workbench, realizing that she had been reminiscing. The last few days went by like a blur, and due to her reticent nature, she hadn't had much opportunity to speak with her classmates much or make any friends. In that time however, she did manage to join the electronics club and was currently trying to make small noisemaking devices. She wondered what it was Wataru wanted t oask her before he was interrupted. Then she remembered him winking at her and got hot in the face. She also remembered Ria stripping, that made her blush even harder. Then the sprinklers went off, supposedly the culprit still hadn't been found. She tried to think of something else. There were a lot of rumors flying about, supposedly some dangerous psychopath had attacked Hoshira-sensei, and somehow Jistudan was involved, or maybe that was just rumor. The only concrete piece of information that she knew was that a school guard was killed, or did he die from natural causes? Like the rest of Academy City, the school had a way of covering up violent disturbances.

Ugh, all these thoughts flying through her head, she couldn't really concentrate on soldering circuitry. She decided to take a break and sat on a stool to the side and reached into her bag to pull out her portable gaming device. However, she felt something in her bag that she didn't recognize and pulled it out. it was a small metal hammer, with the striking head pointed to most easily crack glass. At the bottom of the handle was a cut chain, and along the handle were instructions for breaking the glass of a fire alarm. Shizuka stared at the hammer curiously, while a fellow electronics club member who happened to be in the room stared incredulously and ran out into the hallway to find the nearest JUDGMENT student to report this to.
At least no one says Kaori is a Kuroko expy but then again her "Desu no" has influenced everyone.

I actually wanted to say something, but I figured powers would inevitably overlap with Canon characters, and despite Kaori's unhealthy obsession with the resident level 5, Kuroko was not a troublemaker (she was part of Judgment desu no~ for crying out loud) so I decidedto let it drop since personalities were different enough. Touma on the other hand doesn't have much a personality (besides typical main character whatever, etc.), making it a lot easier for a character with an identical power to match just a bit too closely. If we wanted to split hairs, we could say Touma had a predominantly loli harem (at least the anime definitely gave me that uncomfortable vibe) and Tetsu's is not explicitly a loli harem.

Two things about Touma that bothered me, for one: in a powers-based story, any character who can mimic/steal other's powers or negate them entirely bothers me. For two: androphobic or gynophobic characters also bother me since they usually aren't well-written. And none of that "all the girls throw themselves at him even though he's not at all interested and he can beat up all the other guys who harass the women thus making them love him even more" male-dominated, patriarchal, self-insert, power-fantasy, bullcrap.

Hmm, this came out sounding angrier than I wanted. This rant is not directed towards Kale-El, it is just a result of me being tired of watching anime and being reminded over and over again that the anime industry is dominated by men.
