"Well, he was saying some pretty awful things, and I didn't do enough to stop him," Israfil said, "We tried to get him to change his way of thinking. This is Mike, by the way, one of the engineers. Mike, this is Blythe, a pilot."
If we start with a small party of three, I'll probably play a male and a female. One character will definitely be a support-something, and the other will probably fill in the blanks.
"Actually ,speaking of Eline and Elliot, I'll go let them know we have new visitors," Kalram said, and rushed off towards the woods.

Bormash turned to Ryul, "So that's basically where everything is, is there any place in particular you'd like to see?"

Kalram made it to Elliot and Eline's house and knocked vigorously on their door, "Hey! Mr. Elliot! Ms. Eline? You guys home?"

Reas didn't say anything, ze didn't want to ask for fear of reopening old wounds, but ze understood that everybody came to this village to escape from difficulty and suffering. As a magical being, Reas could sympathize with what Elizabeth probably had to go through. Reas turned zir back to the herbs, "Are any of these dangerous?"
Perhaps I would take the DPS and Birsty type of character. One who utilises powerful and devastating abilities that could level the battlefield. In short like a mage. I think in ateampunk the name would be an Artificer.

So something like an Area-of-Effect mage-type? I'll make the DPS-CC combo the artificer then, since I sort of included AoE into the CC concept.

That being the case, were you thinking of being a solo character, having a small party, or even an entire guild?

I was thinking, personally, small party, where my character(s) join up with yours. The minimum party size would probably be three (the trinity of RPGs: tank, damage, and support). So I'd probably make a support-ish character and a tank-ish character to complement. But those are just my thoughts.

I haven't had a chance to really sit down and hammer out the remaining job classes, so sorry for the delay, but this will definitely be moving forward soon.
Solomon stood stoically and let Blythe speak her mind. He felt conflicted. In all truth, he had never actually met very many Wildtypes, having lived a very privileged and insulated life. Conceptually, he hated Wildtypes and what they had done historically, but he was having a hard time bringing himself to feel that same hatred for his comrades, despite his best efforts to hide that fact. Especially after the last mission, where he felt that the Rivers sisters had saved his life. When Blythe finished speaking, instead of saying anything back, Solomon simply stormed out of the gym.

"S-sorry, Blythe," Israfil said, feeling guilty that he had been part of a conversation where she was being back-bitten.
Felix listened intently to Gideon, taking no offense; Gideon was well-respected for his craft and if he spoke arrogantly, it was a right he had earned. When asked to, Felix held on to the instrument that Gideon handed to him.

"Are you saying that father should focus on cheap, mass-produced parts?" Felix asked for clarification. "Perhaps, though some argue whether the masses even deserve technomancy, regardless of whether they are capable of paying for it or not. While father thinks its worth pursuing as long as there's profit to be gained, some of the other board members feel that technomancy should have restricted ownership, to differentiate the nobility from the nouveau riche. They say that unless we sell only to the higher classes, they would never buy from us because our brand would be 'dirty' and cheap. As a private artisan, what are your thoughts on this?"
Brass Engine Online is a popular virtual reality MMO set in steampunk universe. The developers have been hyping their new expansion which will feature, as its main story element, the rise of the automatons: steam- and/or spring-powered humanoid robots who have chosen to rebel against their human creators. Going hand in hand with this theme will be the underlying massive AI overhaul. Not only will enemy behaviors become more intelligent, NPC's will have a greatly expanded conversation pool and will even react to players' reputations and attitudes. Everything goes horribly wrong when the master AI server gains sentience and takes the players' minds and lives hostage. The players are now trapped in the game, and attempts to forcibly remove them from the game result in death. Their bodies have been carefully moved to various hospitals for monitoring and life support. The individual NPC's and enemies have taken on a life and intelligence of their own, operating independent of the master AI server. It's up to the inhabitants of the world, players, NPC's, and even enemies, to find a solution, whether that be to eliminate the other side, or find some sort of peaceful solution, if only the murderous Automata could be reasoned with.

"Do you really hate Blythe that much?" Israfil asked.

Solomon was a bit taken aback. She hadn't done anything to really make him hate her, maybe just annoyed him. He could just as easily ignore her if he had to, but it was his habit to attempt to crush anything that stood in his way, whether it posed a threat to him or not. "N-no, I don't really hate her..." Solomon said, a little indecisively, "It's a matter of principle..." He didn't know what to say. It was strange to realize that he would hurt someone and defend his right to do so, even if he had no real desire to hurt that person in the first place. "You know what? Let's just drop it OK?" Solomon got off the bike and headed towards the gym's exit. "I'll catchyou two later," He said, giving them a half-hearted wave, but then he noticed Blythe in the gym and froze.
"Near my house is also the home of Elliot and Eline, siblings," Gil added, "My brothers mine ore which they supply to Elliot who is a blacksmith, while being near the forest is beneficial for Eline, who hunts. And near the center of town, close to Emtardas' shop is our clinic, run by Elizabeth."

"Yeah," Reas added, "Father says that Soren is a place where everyone can be their better selves, no loyalties or societies to drive us to harm one another."
Bormash, Gil and Kalram took Ryul out on a tour of the town. Soren was nestled into a gentle valley, surrounded on three sides by forested hills that went into mountains. The one open side on the west led to the only road into Soren, which connected to a major highway and trading route. A river flowed down the middle of Soren and headed south after leaving the town. A wooden wall was built on the west side with a gate flanking the road. Near the entrance was Malkas' inn, and across from it was Emtardas' shop.

"Further in the back," Bormash said, gesturing east, "Is my father's ranch. It's next to the river and we graze the animals on the hills. Gil's father's shop is to the north, near the foot of the mountain, surrounded by forests, giving them easy access to their mine and lumber." Gil nodded in confirmation.

"What do you like about him?" Reas pestered.
