Keeping an RP alive is as much the players' responsibility as it is the GM's.

The most important period in an RP's life is when the responses start to slow after the initial honeymoon phase. This is THE deciding time for whether or not an RP dies.

I'm half considering (jokingly) just giving up RP and writing stories instead. The only thing keeping me here is that I still want to be surprised by others– their plots, characters, interactions. Plotting it out yourself just isn't quite the same, you know?
Sando, Evening

I can ride a boga!

Iyana jumped internally at the chance to ride one. She'd done it often before coming to Sando, but afterwards the jobs she'd taken had all been ride-along ones. It was annoying, having to stay right near your employer. Bogas were so nice. So elegant, so visceral, and so beautiful.

She looked at the others in group. One of the other women was a mage, and seemed a bit hostile to close contact. Iyana could relate. Staying in good relations with others was so difficult. Much easier to just be alone.

The Zitan in the group seemed okay, but they seemed a bit too... insectoid for Iyana's liking. She would prefer to stay far away. Those hand movements were just too creepy. And that voice was outright terrifying!

Asante was nice. Iyana didn't know him well, but she'd seen him around the area multiple times.

And, well, the knight was an oddity. Enchanted armor, probably. Iyana could make out a haze of magic around the plate. She wasn't too skilled at identifying artifacts, so she could've just been wrong.

She opened her mouth to volunteer for the boga riding, but only a squeak came out. Luckily, she was wearing a neckerchief, and nobody seemed to notice the sound through the fabric. Plus, she realized, Hawke had only asked for volunteers for the schooner, not the Boga. She stayed stock-still and tried not to sweat too much.

Floating island fantasy? Bet.
Ah, I'm around, I just felt like there wasn't much to say.
I made a sloppy banner for Iyana, will touch it up later
I dunno, I thought it was kind of a thing to help you remember if you've been hurt or suchlike, as well as providing a place to put any @ mentions and stuff- and author's notes like LordNight did in their first post!
@6slyboy6 Oh man, that's okay! I was planning on making one eventually, but thank you for the offer!

EDIT: In case that was a little vague, I'm planning to make one on my own :)
