Hello!

Hi everyone, how are you guys doing? My name is Avery, I’m 25 and I’ve been play-by-post role-playing since I was 15, probably. I started on a dress up site’s membership forum and pretty much never stopped, other than a few breaks when university got too much.

I’m just here for a bit of escapism. Isn’t everyone?

Is forum Roleplaying beginning to slow down?

I don't really think so. My Google Drive would tell me a big fat no. The time I sink in would also say a big fat no.

What I know to be my experience is that the roleplays I participate in generally tend to have a Discord server, which is a really nice way to keep your OOC chatter off-site, and private between you and your players. I've built up a really great community through just having an RP server. We simply use the forum to host the text itself. All of our discussion/feedback/plotting on posts goes in discord. Super convenient.

hi.

i have been here a while like two years or so. i call my self wheels vecause i am in a wheelchair and i sometimes use a walker to get around. i like to meet and talk to people and most of the time i am on here. if i am not then i am at the doctor or my dads house since cant do a whole lot because i have several health issues and with the covid-19 thing i am stuck at the house more

Always great to see people swing through - especially finding a love for roleplaying again. There are definitely a lot of post-apoc settings around here for you to sink your teeth into!
