Mods are working on the bot problem. I'm on a double today at work, so haven't been able to keep as much of an eye on things a I would like.

The roleplay is in you. You are the roleplay. Be the roleplay you wish to see.

I've been told that I write "some of the best men in love" and honestly I don't think many other things have given me such an emotional high.

Haley ★ 26 ★ Taurus ★ EST ★ Casual Level Group Writer

Welcome fellow writer. I go by many names, but you can call me Haley or pretty much anything else. I stick to causal level groups here on the forum. I have a soft spot for thunderstorms, dark humor, strong coffee, animals, pretty words, feminine rage, mythologies, and all things that go 'bump' in the night. I've lived in the same small southern Appalachian town my whole life, and aim to travel one day. I'm open to the occasional random conversation, but please do not message me asking to write one-on-one; it's simply not something I do these days.

Quick question ... how much of this is taking place on Discord and where is everyone based?
I am hesitant in joining another Discord-heavy RP. As a European girl, I often find myself in the wrong time zone and miss out on all the fun. Have dropped out of several RP-s because I simply could not keep up with events and miss out on all the direct convos. It's no fun when you're response to an instant event comes 7 hours later than everyone else's.

As with most RP's the chit chat will be happening on the discord. A few light discussions about lore and such as well. As far as timezones, I know that @metanoia and I are both based in the states. He is PST, and I am EST.
I did little league cheer leading for a season when I was eight.

This is the notes I have for my character so far, if anyone is interested.

  • FC: Maia Mitchell // Color Code #00FFFC // Font: Signature -> My Boyfriends Handwriting
  • Aesthetic Board
  • Age Seventeen.
  • Bi-Sexual
  • Pure-blood: Rich family. The Montgomery's are very well known at Salem. Family has went to the school for generations, and donates regularly. While the Montgomery's are pure blood elites, and are known to shun anyone who isn't of pure blood status, Lilith does not share the same hate for non-pure bloods like the rest of her family.
  • Belongs to the Nighthound house.
  • Seeker for the Quidditch team. Her number is 19.
  • Wand: Sycamore wood with a unicorn hair core, nine and a half inches, unbending flexibility.
    • A wand with a curious nature, and easily bored. The ideal owner for Sycamore is curious, vital and adventurous. When paired with the right owner, Sycamore wood is among the worlds most highly prized woods. Unicorn hair produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Most faithful of all wands, these wands bond the most with their first owner. Minor disadvantages of unicorn hair are that they do not make the most powerful wands (although the wand wood may compensate) and that they are prone to melancholy if seriously mishandled, meaning that the hair may ‘die’ and need replacing.
  • Patronus is wolf.
  • Potions and Care of Magical creatures are her favorite classes. She loves to learn about all of the creatures in the wizarding world. The more dangerous the better.
  • Her biggest dream is to become a professional Quidditch Seeker. If that fails, she would love to become a Healer.
Gonna bump the above question before I continue with the next.
Putting down my interest with Maia Mitchell as my FC. Color code is #00fffc.

Oh, that's what they're called. Yeah, I don't mind posting their aliases or whatever they identify as publicly in the character sheet, etc. I just wanted to make sure before I outright did anything because all I could see were fantasy threads but I just assume those are the most popular sections of the site.

No worries! Slice-of-Life are really common too. That's where most of us use our 'real-life' FC's. Rather the thread calls for a real life FC or not is up to the GM usually. It's actually pretty common to list the persons name in the sheet, so glad you're accustomed to that. xD
