Can I just say this, to everyone comparing Drake to actual Fairy Tail characters; I ask you to look at the rule that says canon characters are irrelevant in this rp, and that includes every aspect of the rp, even the ooc. I'm not going to give an opinion on the CS because regardless of how powerful he is, I'm okay with it as long as it is explained in-depth in the history. Am I the only one who isn't that bothered by the amount of spells he has? Some people like to be thorough and give a diverse listing of what their character can do, other character, like Maker Mages, tend to have very general and broad spells that imply they have a lot of utility.Look the point is, everyone has different ideas on how they want their characters to be. Drake has a lot of non-magical skills, and if you look over them they aren't at all that broken. I was tired last night, and everyone seemed to have a lot of outcry to the CS, so I said I'd ask him to change a few things. However I only really have one problem with the CS. His arm. Could you perhaps remove the ability to transfer the madness to people through touch? I know it's a weaker form of madness, but considering everything else he has I don't think he really needs it. The idea for this disease he's plagued with was for it to be more of a hindrance to him, not something he can take advantage of and use against people. I like the idea of his arm being a lot more durable than normal though, so you can keep that. However he'll be the only one infected by it. I also have another idea for the arm that I can talk to you about over skype. But you know, I just want to read a biography. The biography says a lot about the character and how they got to be so strong, and I have no doubt that you'll write one that shows this in an interesting way.

It just is way too OP with that number of spells, and unless proven otherwise, I'm keeping my characters interactions with him to a minimum. Sorry, but I just dislike his character that much. Also, Marc, you're breaking your own rule about Lost Magic. We already have 3. That ain't cool.Sorry, but that's how I feel about this. The number of spells makes it OP? Have you read them? Do you know that there are 15 spells? That isn't much of a number when 3 are biog spells that aren't meant to be spammable, 2 are utility spells, 5 are average spells, the black hole spell doesn't do any damage, and the rest are aimed to mortally wound. Repair magic is literally to just repair his clothes. I can name a variety that has more spells then him as they use broad terms. The Maker Mages, Alex and his Force Magic, and Zephyr's Vibrations just to name the more obvious. I am literally stuck with a preset amount of spells unless we go Second Origin, plot, or I'm able to make S-Class down the line.

I do thoroughly dislike when people place their feelings in the IC to such a degree to disrupt any possible interactions for the sake of I do not like this aspect or such of this person, which I am guilty of at times as-well but, I will respect your wish and go about the rp as so.

So....that....makes my point even more cause they have great power ala S-Class at younger age, Erza making S-Class younger then that. Drake isn't even S-Class. He's A-Class alongside Natsu, Gray, and Gajeel to name a few examples.

Seems like a fair number considering half of them aren't as potent as you think.

My problem isn't with any one thing, it's the fact that he's an all in one package. He's smart, has crazy powerful magic, and lost magic, and he has his own martial art style or whatever it is, and... *sigh* Well, it's up to Marc. Maybe he'll be better in practice than he looks on paper. This is just my opinion.

Well considering Wizard Saints aren't actually that strong near the bottom, Jura being an example of how pathetic one can be as a Wizard Saint, that's not saying much. But no....he's not even close to a Wizard Saint if Marc keeps them at the power level they should be at. He's not even S-Class. You are jumping to conclusions. I'll compare Zephyr to Gildartz. Gildarts has only two magics and yet the one that is actually offensive, Crash, is insanely powerful when under his control yet he doesn't have an variety to it. I.E. he possesses more Magical Power and Zephyr would show that and be able to thrash Drake in a fight.

Ummm that's called canonnicity especially when someone has trained their whole life in that particular field. It's pretty much a given that mages are able to reach A Rank without having to be near thirty years old. Look at real life martial artists and other forms of fighters that train since they were young and are actually good at what they do.

I talked to Marc earlier. Everyone settle down. When the backstory is finished, Marc said he would judge it. He also thought there were a few things that needed to be changed, but I'll let Marc say the specifics, as he may have changed his mind. For now, let's just all relax, and have fun!
