"Sol?" Dio's tone had lost its cool nature and he inhaled heavily. What did this princess think she knew about Sol? What could she understand how much Dio looked up to the man? He cared not for what was unknown to her nor anyone about the time he spent with Sol. FireSeal was only ever used in Sol's legacy; a tool that Dio treasured more then his own life. His muscles tensed in response to his quick temper, fingers literally digging into the car's hood. Before he leaped from the car, the voice of Edward lashed out to tell the two warriors to calm down. The situation couldn't be cooled from just words alone; that wasn't how Sol taught him. Action first and questions later when your opponent was laid broken before you.
"FINE THEN PRINCESS!" The white haired gear peered past his hood and bangs with wide eyes and a intimidating smirk. He leapt from the car, earth shaking slightly beneath his feet as he landed with all his weight and leg strength. Peripheral vision caught the one known as KoRe holding tightly onto the grip of his katana. It was aimed directly at Dio's throat. The bloodlust almost oozed all over the gear that held FireSeal. He wasn't afraid of this guy either. If he wanted to fight then he would. There was so much going on in this small spot. Next the girl known as Shard made her appearance beside Dio, speaking up for him. To think there was someone here that was actually on his side. A nice gesture but it was cost her the ire of the katana wielding man.
KoRe moved quick and Dio caught it once he saw the movement of elbow. An attempt to move made him notice that he was a bit slower than usual. Luckily Shard was right beside him and Dio was able to become the wall between Shard and KoRe's katana. Metal clang against metal. A counterattack had already entered the mind, muscles were ready to strike, and the air became tense. KoRe unfortunately decided to sane up and drop his katana to his side. The white haired gear couldn't anticipate what was going through KoRe's mind and he honestly just wanted to drop kick him in the chest. "Awww you ended the fun. Go ahead though. Probably would have been too weak anyway. I'm out of here."

I'm very curious to see how you evolve this concept, it's definitely accepted. The only tidbit is that the royal guard of Kataloni's uniform is more along the lines of informal samurai, but that isn't largely important, lol.For everybody else, I'm working on the opening post today and Drew already has his part done as far as I know so we should be surfing this fairly soon.

W.I.P Wanted to give what I had so far. His powers are purely their canon but with some small change to exclude the more....OP stuff like shutting down powers and manipulating the matter in organics. Though I kept his absorption the same because well...it's literally his best thing and can cause him to fall through time.

Although he is able to use it with limitless potential, he most commonly uses it for his superhuman physical abilities, and his ability to manipulate energy and matter. The Quantum Field also grants him various immunities and/or resistances against telepathy and molecular manipulation.
- Invulnerability - Dilustel metal has a symbiotic relationship with Captain Atom's body and is virtually indestructible, highly resistant to various degrees of damage from energy, heat, lasers, and missiles. In certain situations, his skin can be breached, most notably by X-ionized weapons or weapons that are made to cut/punch through any surface (Crimson Avenger's enchanted bullets, Zealot's swords, etc.). Against physical force, he's shown to withstand punishment from Wonder Woman without having his skin breached.
- Superhuman Endurance - The energies of the Quantum Field sustain Captain Atom. He has no need for food, sleep, or oxygen. He can survive in outer space and doesn't need to breathe. His endurance is increased to superhuman levels, and he can perform strenuous activity for a long and undefined period
- Energy Projection and Manipulation - He is able to emit blasts of any type of quantum-based energy from any part of his body at once, but normally prefers using his hands for ease of aim. He is able to control the magnitude and wavelength of his energy blasts at will. He can stun his opponents with his blasts at the lowest setting. But, at higher settings, he's shown to blow up aircraft, tanks, and stagger powerful super-powered beings such as Kal and Wonder Woman. With the Quantum Field, he is able to generate and manipulate forces along the Unified Field (fundamental forces). In the same way, he learned to access weak force energy, manipulate gravitational forces, and electromagnetism (has generated pure light from his body). The Quantum Field also grants his Quantum blasts with the effect of intense heat, and he has shown to be able to melt down dense metallic substances and heat things up with what he likes to call 'Quantum heat.'
- Superhuman Strength - The limits of Captain Atom's physical strength are unknown, but, he is able to lift 50 tons with effort. To date, he's been able to It was stated by Batman himself that with greater control over his powers that he could become strong enough to move around mountains.
- Superhuman Reflexes - Captain Atom is able to think, move and react at superhuman speeds, significantly greater than humans. Bruce Wayne revealed that Captain Atom was once able to move faster than he could think during his experimental testing of Captain Atom's powers. He has shown to react fast enough to stop bullets with his hand, and move fast enough to intercept gunfire after it's already left the barrel.
- Energy Absorption - Extreme energy absorption that's second to none. With proper control, concentration, and regulation of his energy absorption rate, he is capable of absorb infinite amounts of energy to avoid quantum jumping through time. There is almost no form of energy that Captain Atom is unable to absorb.
- Techno-Interface - He has also shown the ability to telepathically interface with computer networks and the binary system.
- Matter Manipulation - He has shown to manipulate cohesive force to make 'protomatter.' On occasion, he has shown to transmute solid objects, having transmuted Green Arrow's arrows into butterflies and a firearm into a toy spaceship. Depending on the situation, it appears as if this ability is used on instinct or with some level of concentration. Organic materials are quite impossible to manipulate at Captain Atom’s current level.
- Time Travel - By over absorbing, Captain Atom is flung into the future, from a week up to many years. He has no control over this power.
- Flight - Ability to fly at supersonic speeds (speeds at Earth's escape velocity or greater) in an atmosphere and at sub-light speeds (more than half the speed of light) in interstellar space & when traveling interstellar distances. However, Captain Atom claims that he can hit light speed if he wants to.
- Military Experience - Has Air Force officer training in covert operations, military weaponry (mostly firearms), strategy, and hand-to-hand combat (quite possibly based on MAC training). Major Nathanial Adam also has strong survival instincts derived from his experiences during the Vietnam War.

On the day of the attack:
Captain Atom was dumped bv time during that very day. A confused hero in a confusing world having to deal with a very confusing attack on the planet. All he knew when he awoke was that his planet was being attacked by aliens. What he didn't know was that Martian Manhunter was not one of those invaders. Atom attacked the Martian instantly, Diana intervening to stop Atom. The fight only lasted for a few moments before Kal and Bruce intervened. Regardless that Atom even attacked Kal, Batman was able to stop them all. Atom recognized that truth in Batman's words and began to help the few heroes against the invasion by fighting off the smaller ships and protecting the city below whilst they handled the main force. This was the day that Captain Atom became known to the public at hand.
Since That Day: Undergoing experiments with J'onn and Batman

The idea is that Captain Atom is not afraid of his powers unlike the past Atom and he does not have to worry about taking out the entire planet if his skin is breached. While yes, his body can still expose radiation but when he is seriously injured due to the powers not being metal skin but instead infused into his body, leaving him looking human. He's also not a brawler like his counterpart; he focuses on his powers rather then fighting hand to hand. Atom only has enough strength to protect himself if needed. The aim to turn him into a hero version of Monarch.

APPEARANCE – Hiroshi is a tall, muscular man whose usual scowl, eye-patch and general outward appearance cause many to shrink away from him; even though he isn't an all bad guy. Hiroshi styles his hair after the style his father favored in his younger days, as a sign of homage and respect. Colored blonde with a mix of neon green highlights, it reaches his shoulder blades, with the fringe being parted to either side, shadowing his eyes but showing his forehead, as well as the eye-patch strap which goes over his head in an angle to cover the eye he lost in a battle with The Order. His one remaining eye is colored a light grey, and described as holding a weight befitting two. In most circumstances, Hiroshi is seen favoring a scowl or some variation, mainly due to the rapid maturity he had underwent when he lost his honor.
Later, Kana gave her father's old Royal Guardsmen uniform to Hiroshi, which Hiroshi now wears out of respect for the man and his family. The uniform consists of a dark blue-colored jacket with prominent lapels, with a yellow outer lining worn over a thin piece of protective armor under the jacket. The uniform also possesses two thin, black shoulder guards and a large, protective collar. Two black wristbands, that extend halfway up his forearm are also worn. Even when wearing this uniform, Hiroshi carries his two bladed weapons on his person; he threads them through his ōbi sash, secured tightly with one on each side.
Underneath his clothing, Hiroshi possesses a rather large scar that spans across his entire chest to his left shoulder, branching outward.
STYLE – Swordsman/Cosmic Energy
TECHNIQUES –
Swordsmanship Specialist: Hiroshi is a very accomplished swordsman. He has a lot of lightning fast attacks and combos that overwhelm the opponent. His powerful attacks are followed by another damaging assault, sometimes leaving the opponent hard to recover; his chained strikes are stylish and damaging; overall, he turns into a whirling top of destruction when in battle. Indeed, Hiroshi's fighting style relies on utilizing his vast array of moves and stances to keep the opponent guessing; all of his attacks are extremely powerful, however, once Hiroshi has the momentum of a battle behind him, he becomes very dangerous and difficult to stop; making each and every one of his foes look like a novice—further enhancing his deadliness is the fact that Hiroshi has great range on his attacks, which can give some opponents great difficulty when trying to get in on him.
Katana of the Six Commandments, Storm Wing: The red blade and hand guard are one and the same allowing for a great cutting range. This blade is slightly lighter than most swords, giving it incredible attack speed which coupled with the durability of the blade it also allows for a brilliant defense when used to block. Cosmic Energy’s fantastic alchemy, imagination-based ability and emulation to create a weapon that acts as a conduit of cosmic energy and morph into 5 different forms with distinct abilities. Those who cannot channel Cosmic Energy have no way of ever using the sword’s abilities.
CHARACTER BALANCING – Besides being peak human in speed, agility, and stamina, Hiroshi is quite as normal as any man that trains regularly. There is a reliance on his sword to fight and when unable to grip the sword, Hiroshi is disadvantaged. He cannot change sword forms instantly, taking a few seconds and magical energy to morph the sword to its different forms.
PERSONALITY – Hiroshi is a calm, collected and thoughtful person who rarely looses his temper and is almost always smiling. He has a kind heart and is known to put his all into any enterprise that he starts. He is known to be slightly lazy at times and is slow to get interested in any activity. But when aroused he will put his entire heart and soul into the task at hand until he is convinced that he has done everything within his limits to accomplish the task. Though he is kind, he is blunt while speaking to people and will often speak out on other people's weaknesses and delusions irrespective of how much that might disturb or hurt them. He believes that by doing so he is giving them the opportunity to improve themselves and is showing greater kindness to them than by lying to them. He believes that by letting them live a lie you can only grant them temporary happiness and as soon as the bubbles of their delusions break their happiness will be gone. On the other hand telling them the truth will cause them some grief now but will grant them greater happiness and satisfaction in the long run. At the same time it will also make them stronger.
Hiroshi is a great follower of justice and honor. He is of the belief that if a person throws away their honor then he or she is living but a half and empty life. Its his belief that a person's honor will always allow them to live with their heads held high and this will provide them with a strength to overcome any kind of hardship that life throws their way. He also believes that one kind act must be repaid by another. Thus he believes that a person must always fulfill their debts to another no matter how that debt was earned in the first place. Thus even if an enemy lets you live for another day, whether this be out of kindness, pity or simply orders, one should show that enemy a similar kindness when given the chance.
It's his staunch belief that a person should treat others in the same way he expects to be treated by them. Because of this he always tries to be helpful to the people around him and provide any aid that he can. Even if the person may never repay his kindness or might not even be aware of his aid, he will always try to help them. This is due to his belief that ever kind act ever will some day come back to them.
BACKSTORY – The Noble House of Yashigami and their noble guards Clan Kazuki. Hiroshi was not fortunate enough to be born to the House of Yashigami; he was instead kin to the head of Clan Kazuki. Clan Kazuki had been known for their abilities with the sword and combat. Hiroshi was slowly tutored in the art of the blade from a very young age as noble guards were meant to be the near perfect protectors of the noble house and lords. An early start led to a more malleable learning curve for the young Kazuki and his father was proud of him.
The Yashigami were rather honorable people and treated the Clan like they were part of the family. A respect that helped Hiroshi come up with the ideals that he would on to for years to come. Such a bond between the two families that they had come up with secret plans together; plans that left Hiroshi in the dark for his own safety. These plans were the very reason that Hiroshi lost his honor when he was only a young man. His father had sent him out to run an errand that would last the whole day whilst the Yashigami and Kazuki attempted a coup de grace against the Emperor; a coup that would end in failure and slaughter.
Hiroshi returned home to find himself placed in chains and sat before the Emperor. What he thought would end in his own death instead ended with the Emperor allowing him to live in shame without honor. At only nineteen Hiroshi left Kataloni to find a place for himself where he could live out the rest of his days in peace. He traveled for two years before he arrived at Dun. His travels were not very exciting besides helping someone every now and then or fighting off bandits. Dun would be very interesting for Hiroshi as he would meet a woman by the name of Kana. She was one of the most beautiful women to ever grace his eyes and the moment they met there were sparks of love. Even her family came to cherish Hiroshi. Her father saw the inner warrior within the young man and felt that Hiroshi could learn more in order to protect himself and Kana.
Four years passed by quickly for Hiroshi. Kana had become his wife, bore his daughter and her father had entrusted Hiroshi with his sword and knowledge on Cosmic Energy. The Kata had never believed he would have a life such a this and even after so long his mind could never let go of his time in Kataloni, the honor that he needed restored. Like everything else, this peace would end when the Order began their small attacks on Dun. One such attack came to his very village. A vicious assault that took the life of Kana, their daughter, her father, and left Hiroshi with a huge scar and without his left eye.
ORIGIN – Hiroshi has lived in Dun for several years and has trained vigorously for an entire year with clear intent on bringing vengeance upon The Order for what they have done him and many others.

But when aroused he will put his entire heart and soul into the task at hand until he is convinced that he has done everything within his limits to accomplish the task. Though he is kind, he is blunt while speaking to people and will often speak out on other people's weaknesses and delusions irrespective of how much that might disturb or hurt them. He believes that by doing so he is giving them the opportunity to improve themselves and is showing greater kindness to them than by lying to them. He believes that by letting them live a lie you can only grant them temporary happiness and as soon as the bubbles of their delusions break their happiness will be gone. On the other hand telling them the truth will cause them some grief now but will grant them greater happiness and satisfaction in the long run. At the same time it will also make them stronger.
Hiroshi is a great follower of justice and honor. He is of the belief that if a person throws away their honor then he or she is living but a half and empty life. Its his belief that a person's honor will always allow them to live with their heads held high and this will provide them with a strength to overcome any kind of hardship that life throws their way. He also believes that one kind act must be repaid by another. Thus he believes that a person must always fulfill their debts to another no matter how that debt was earned in the first place. Thus even if an enemy lets you live for another day, whether this be out of kindness, pity or simply orders, one should show that enemy a similar kindness when given the chance.
It's his staunch belief that a person should treat others in the same way he expects to be treated by them. Because of this he always tries to be helpful to the people around him and provide any aid that he can. Even if the person may never repay his kindness or might not even be aware of his aid, he will always try to help them. This is due to his belief that ever kind act ever will some day come back to them.
BACKSTORY – The Noble House of Yashigami and their noble guards Clan Kazuki. Hiroshi was not fortunate enough to be born to the House of Yashigami; he was instead kin to the head of Clan Kazuki. Clan Kazuki had been known for their abilities with the sword and combat. Hiroshi was slowly tutored in the art of the blade from a very young age as noble guards were meant to be the near perfect protectors of the noble house and lords. An early start led to a more malleable learning curve for the young Kazuki and his father was proud of him.
The Yashigami were rather honorable people and treated the Clan like they were part of the family. A respect that helped Hiroshi come up with the ideals that he would on to for years to come. Such a bond between the two families that they had come up with secret plans together; plans that left Hiroshi in the dark for his own safety. These plans were the very reason that Hiroshi lost his honor when he was only a young man. His father had sent him out to run an errand that would last the whole day whilst the Yashigami and Kazuki attempted a coup de grace against the Emperor; a coup that would end in failure and slaughter.
Hiroshi returned home to find himself placed in chains and sat before the Emperor. What he thought would end in his own death instead ended with the Emperor allowing him to live in shame without honor. At only nineteen Hiroshi left Kataloni to find a place for himself where he could live out the rest of his days in peace. He traveled for two years before he arrived at Dun. His travels were not very exciting besides helping someone every now and then or fighting off bandits. Dun would be very interesting for Hiroshi as he would meet a woman by the name of Kana. She was one of the most beautiful women to ever grace his eyes and the moment they met there were sparks of love. Even her family came to cherish Hiroshi. Her father saw the inner warrior within the young man and felt that Hiroshi could learn more in order to protect himself and Kana.
Four years passed by quickly for Hiroshi. Kana had become his wife, bore his daughter and her father had entrusted Hiroshi with his sword and knowledge on Cosmic Energy. The Kata had never believed he would have a life such a this and even after so long his mind could never let go of his time in Kataloni, the honor that he needed restored. Like everything else, this peace would end when the Order began their small attacks on Dun. One such attack came to his very village. A vicious assault that took the life of Kana, their daughter, her father, and left Hiroshi with a huge scar and without his left eye.
ORIGIN – Hiroshi has lived in Dun for several years and has trained vigorously for an entire year with clear intent on bringing vengeance upon The Order for what they have done him and many others.
