It's at times like this that I remember my dad's final words to me before he passed. "Careful son. I don't think the safety is on." Such wisdom.

I prefer not to think before speaking. I like being just as surprised as everyone else by what comes out of my mouth.

I’m ready for Gentle to get put into a corner for continuously picking up short characters without consent so he can talk to them face to face.
Was considering ways to expand Gentle's lore. Decided to add this little gem. Including an old sentence for context.

"Much like a small child trapped in a giant golems body. He often does not remember his own strength, so it has caused him to destroy many things he'd rather not have destroyed. Which oddly enough is how he came to recognize his name as gentle. It got yelled at him so much that he now responds only to it. His true name is unknown."
I was reading your character thunder and I immediately saw the resistance to edged weapons and thought of how Gentle used his sword like a mace and had a laugh.
Rereading your bio xalt. Your character won’t like gentle because he’s totally gunna be after her shinies.
I can totally see that. You over here writing lore and story before it even starts lol!
Haha. Well Gentle can say more than 3 words thankfully. I dunno there is always something about a giant loveable oaf that is endearing to me.
For some reason... Gentle reminds me of Grute.

The tree guy from guardians of the galaxy?
This looks interesting so I figured I'd throw my name into the hat if you guys are still open.

Interacting with @deegee

Ishaan took measured steps as he moved about the innards of the ship finally reaching the doorway. He could hear the scrapping of wood that told him he was in the right place. The old man would have been angry if he had come this way to find an empty room. He silently leaned against the doorframe as he watched the carpenter work. He smirked as he recalled when they had first gotten Danneil. The whip scarred man. He had offered his services, and Taylor had willingly accepted him despite having no real evidence at the time of his skill.

Then again Ishaan was only here because he beat the captain in a game of cards so could he really judge all that hard? As he continued to observe he frowned. Having come from India himself he was all too familiar with its caste system and how many of his own people were treated no better than the man right in front of him. It was no wonder Ishaan had escaped as soon as he could to the open sea. To a freedom he had yearned for but never quite knew till he was on a ship.

The old man coughed lightly as he got Danneil's attention.

"I hate to interrupt a working man....but...."

Ishaan flashed a toothy grin as he showcased the bottle of rum in his left hand.

"I think it's time you took a break lad, before you work those hands down to the bone."

The Weeping

Location: The Lucky Noodle, Paragon City
@Nallore @Silver Carrot @Iamtheisland

The Weeping gave an angry hiss as his clothing slowly fell from his body like it wasn't even there. There was no need for any of it to get ruined in the coming fight. He felt like a puppet being pulled about by its strings. Go here! Go there! This way now! Over yonder next! He was sick of it, and this was the time to finish his mission. He was no one's lapdog. Nigel could himself losing control despite trying to hold on, it was that all too familiar sense of fading as he was removed from the driver's seat becoming an unwilling passenger in his own body. The rage of the spirits was all encompassing.

This brown-haired girl who had placed herself directly in his path.

Sarah.

Yes, that was what Madalyne had called her. Strike her? The Weeping reared back momentarily before it seemed to freeze as if unsure of itself, before shifting its gaze to the other two women. It's source of hatred. The shadow that stalked the shadow. His teeth slowly bared themselves to their fullish extent, a vicious grin capable of rending meat from the bone. Or maybe it was better to just grab this young girl and flee? He was after all wasting time on this errand, he truly did not even wish to do. The creature weighed its options as it quickly took stock of all the shadows in the room. A surprise strike that would slice the Rat from head to toe, then mayhaps it could grab the young girl?

Take her back to that woman. Be done with this whole song and dance and finally get down to what he truly desired. The complete and utter destruction of the Delgato family. Sinking deeper into the shadow and swimming through the blackness the Weeping leaped outward from Madalyne's shadow as she had been closest to Julia.

The creature screamed an unearthly cacophony as the razor-sharp claws of its arm hand descended down in a mad slash intending to split the rat into pieces.

"YOU HAVE DARKENED MY SHADOW FOR FAR TOO LONG! DIE LITTLE MOUSE!"

The Weeping's brow furrowed as it drew blood, but its internal rage bubbled over. Nigel had raged against his cage, causing the Weeping's strike to be hindered, what should have killed Julia fell short. Far too short to be fatal. But it would leave a nasty gash on her head. He flicked his claw allowing the blood to splatter as he readied a battle stance. The element of surprise was gone maybe it was best to just grab Madalyne and run?
