How do you define what is good and positive?

I base it off of a constant absolute.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Death penalty? You mean that literally or figuratively? Cause I don't see how literally would affect that.

It's a sports term, which means their program was shut down for two years, ruining it. They can't afford to be promiscuous because everyone is always watching.

Ah, but totalling everything allows for a high total though many have little of it.

It does.

Perhaps it is because they do not care for others. People desire happiness, many by any means. Care is lacking.

Objectivism says it's the total amount of happiness in society.

You're taking an athlete's course?

I'll let you know on the first day. It definitely seems like one, but SMU's football team is terrible, and they've taken great care to be really careful about giving athletes any special treatment after they got the death penalty in 1987.

Hm. Hasn't changed a bit.

Oh, hey.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Ah. That introduces all sorts of problems right out of the gate, anyway.

Yet many believe it.

Objectivism?

"Whatever induces the highest amount of pleasure is good."
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

You act as if you know who he is?

Of understanding?

<Snipped quote by Techspert>

I suppose I will have to come up with a clear and concise definition of what is good and positive in my perspective, then.

Objectivism is incorrect, if it comes up.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Seriously?

I'm not kidding. It's one of the easiest A's, worth tons of credit. Nobody takes it for reasons you can figure out; my academic engineering adviser knew of it and said "before you judge, let me read and explain the course description," and everything fit extremely well. I'll have a masters in less than four years.
