So am I! I'm just trying to understand the point of having "territory".

*Nods once*
Ahhhh, I see. It gives the owner additional strength, distributed according to the size of their territory. They can also apply certain restrictions on inbound and outbound travel on interdimensional beings.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

But what makes a dimension you can't meaningfully interact with desirable?

Um... why would you want to interact with a dimension? And what precludes anyone from doing so on an individual basis? Isn't that what you do now? I'm sorry—I'm just trying to understand.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Why would it be meaningful to claim unaware dimensions as territory?

I'm a bit confused by your references of unaware dimensions. I'd like to emphasize that dimensions that are widely aware of Existence are not many. And they are not weighted more so than any other dimension; rather, they are probably less desirable. I don't know for sure because I've never owned a territory.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Yes!

Every dimension is capable of being claimed as a territory. A countable number are unclaimed.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Parts of Existence that don't know about Existence!

...Virtually all of Existence, then?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Did these territories include unaware Existence?

Um... what does that mean?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

You probably do! What was the general purpose of these beings in staking claims?

Strength, control, peace, etc.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Does "blocking entry" mean anything other than defence?

If I properly understand your question, no.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

General!

Not unless the territory owner is blocking entry. Territories are bounded by dimensions, so none of them are split in two.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Was this such that you couldn't travel between dimensions on territory borders?

Who is "you" in this question?
