Mierno: *rolls my eyes*

Whatever you say, slick.

That's what happens when you don't protect your trade secrets.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
Mierno:
True. Just be careful. We've only just met this guy. He could have more up his sleeve than we know.

*To nobody in particular*
Mierno's weakness is magnets because, I mean, how do they work? You should also know that he's scared of heights and can be KO'd by a swift right hook to the temple.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

You trust him with said info though?

It's not like I'm giving him nuclear launch codes.
@Techspert
Mierno:
You sure are willing to give this guy a lot of into right away, aren't you?

Yeah, because I'm social like that. You build friendships with words.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

I feel like most people would live longer with immortality, other survival factors included or not. Most people don’t just keel over randomly, or throw themselves into danger on a whim.

The longer you live, the more you get desensitized to danger. You start to think "Wow, I've survived so much. It's almost like I'm immortal or something." And then you remember and go "Oh wait."
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

I fail to see how, personally.

Because it's no guarantee of survival. You only bypass the whole aging problem, and you get over the "all of my non-immortal friends die, wahh" thing pretty quickly.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Not old enough to know, but if everyone is immortal, I didn’t get the memo.

*Shrugs*
It's not all it's cracked up to be. Being immortal is basically the same thing as not being immortal.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

The goal was to heal people. If what happened to me was ever an intention, then I was never made aware.

... Ages, you say? Are you people immortal too?

Weird.

Yeah, isn't everybody these days? Aging is so last millennium.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

A few as far as it working as a treatment, I’d say, but I’m the only one who ended up with this.

<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>

That is a little too vague to be a satisfying answer. But alrighty then!

Was that the goal?

His age doesn't count anymore because he was sealed away for ages.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

I mean, it’s still experimental. Not a 100% success rate with it, and not many trials of it either.

It looks like the success rate is exactly 1 over the number of test subjects.
