To survive, yes. But most people are more civil than that. they will eat lesser beings, such as animals like cows and pigs, for sustenance. They will not eat intteligent beings that are capable of similar thought processes as them. Most would actually consider that a heinous offense, and would bring the perpetrator to justice.
I know humans do that. They also like to hunt us, so I don’t understand what the difference is.
