I guess I don’t have a good metric for variation in universes. Like, I grew up in a rural country house, then we left as my dad reintegrated back into the IA but I just kind of stayed out of it. The average place I know is either super into the future compared to here, or not pretty well behind. And especially no cyber worlds in any of them quite like yours that exist in tandem with the physical one.
With the kind of interplay between the two worlds, I don’t think you’d have to stretch to convince someone that they’re more like two parallel dimensions. The real question is: are humans the guests? Or are we?

Is offworld activity common for your universe? I didn’t think it was but this is just something else.
Eh? Oh, yeah, it never really came up. There are some foreign cyber worlds out there, but nothing biological. Seems that in the expanse of the universe, digital is the norm.
