After having her go at the dummies, Saeko stepped back and watched the First Years have their goes. She didn't really have much of an opinion after that, so instead of actually paying attention she idly watched as the battlefield cleared itself - only to reveal metal bodied drones which lined up in formation and attacked on the Director's orders.
What saddened her, and probably a lot of others, though, was that only the First Years were able to participate and fight against them. That, and that the dummies had been set to a non-lethal mode. Apparently they didn't want to kill the weak students, even at an academy for assassins. With a sigh, Saeko walked off to the side of the battle, and continued her mindless observations.
Adam took it into consideration, making more judgements about the students and which might actually make good candidates. Maybe she was right. The test was likely far from over, knowing the Director, and there were probably others which would be much more suited to the line of work he had planned.
"Hmm... I suppose you would be right. If I am to hazard at a guess, I'd say the test is far from over..."However, even as he said it, he was playing the mission over in his head. And, with every student he placed in the team - even not knowing their strengths and weaknesses - they were all killed. He gritted his teeth, and tried once again. Why was it getting to him, anyway? He had already made his selection, so why was he worrying?
At the sound of the second part of the test beginning, a small smile traced its way over his lips. The metal drones rose from the ground, holding weapons, and instantly made their way into formation. His smile widened a small amount as the Director gave the commands, and he crossed his arms as they made their towards the students.
There were definitely some skilled assassins here already, that was for certain, but his eyes were instantly drawn to Lurlene - the female whom wielded knives with excellent skill. Even if she was simply playing with the thing thanks to its settings, she still had some damn good skill. She would make an excellent addition to the team, but then again that was no surprise - since he had already chosen her.
The final deciding factor in Lurlene's place was her final action; throwing the drones severed head of the drone straight at the Director. If Adam was anyone else, he likely would have let it slide, knowing that the Head would handle it. However, appearances had to be kept up, and rules had to be kept exactly as they were set.
It an extremely fast step, he was in front of the Director - holding a sheathed katana by the sheathe in his left hand. With his right, he gripped the hilt of the blade and slowly drew it; the sound filling the air. As it was almost fully drawn, he angled it downwards and drew the blade in a very quick movement. As it was unsheathed, it hit the flying head, slicing clean through it and causing the two halves to fly off in either direction.
"Lurlene. Please refrain from doing that again." he said calmly, sliding the blade back into it's sheathe and crossing his arms.
