Thaurband
The Eagles of the Lake take their name from their location, the former Prison Town of Thaurband positioned at head of the Western river feeding into Lake Nurnen. The infrastructure of prison commons has been hastily renovated to transform them into a roughshod interior fortification, while the township proper is now occupied by the freed men of the Lake of Nurnen. Surrounded by several mills and plantations, the land is riven with massive irrigation canals and covered elsewhere by massive, flattened fields. Thaurband itself is built upon a massive construction of stone and metal that serves as a dam for river, used to power massive millstones.

To be Added Later. I am unfamiliar with Elvish Culture and Custom and so need some time to familiarize myself further with the lore before describing Vísesinda. All you need to know for the moment is that he is a red haired elf bearing deep scars.
Description: After the fall of Sauron and Barad-dur, King Ellessar and the realm of Gonodor along with its allies, found themselves with greatly diminished arms. Unwilling to chase the routed legions of Mordor through the black gates for fear of being caught up in the fiery, pyroclastic flow of Mt. Doom, they found themselves unable to lay siege to Minas Morgul when they marched South along Ephel Dúath due to inadequate supplies and logistics. Returning to his seat of power at Minas Tirith, King Ellesar was yet determined to spread the influence of man to the now broken wastes of Mordor both to free the men of Sauron from their bondage as well as to disrupt the formation of a new power base. He took heed of the past renewal of Mordor after the War of the Last Alliance, and knew he could not let even a broken Mordor time to mend. He thus assembled from far afield many skilled rangers from both Ithilien and the North as well as a number of veterans from the battle of Osgiliath. He forged these men into a new fellowship, and tasked them with infiltrating Mordor for the purpose of liberating the men in bondage about the sea of Nurnen, as well as with eradicating all remnants of Sauron's forces where possible. He thus informed the of the isolated mountain passage from near Minas Morgul to beyond Cirith Ungol, and the fellowship ventured forth. They spent several weeks secretly smuggling both supplies and themselves through the mountains in this manner, before heading as a host to the township of Thaurband. Upon arrival, they found the garrison of the town abandoned due to the prior movements of the Orc Commander Nakgu, with its many prisoners and slaves occupying its husk scavenging what they could. The fellowship seized the opportunity, galvanizing the men of Thaurband and converting the township into a base of operations for their skirmishes across all of Mordor while freeing the populace and preparing to arm and train them.
Agenda and Concerns: Thaurband is only a fortification from the inside, out. Hastily renovated to deter intrusion and siege, the Township itself is as mighty as any other in Mordor yet protects nothing of value. The vast plantations, granaries, mills, and canals of Thaurband lie outside and about the township in a vast network and thus do not benefit from the reworked defenses. While amply supplied with fresh water and food, the men of Nurnen's fields are highly exposed and vulnerable to skirmishes and raids. With the garrison of Orcs and Uruk having been emptied previously, the armories and forges within Thaurband were empty of all armaments when the fellowship came across it, and thus they find themselves short on weapons and armor. The Eagles of the Lake are therefore concerned with finding an efficient means to safeguard their fields while also arming their now freed populace.
Resources: Lesser Drakes: 0. While the Men of Nurnen might be disposed to train Lesser Drakes if they could, they have found none, nor any eggs.
Demi-Trolls: 0. The fellowship arrived to find every troll in the town dead, chained to harnesses or in pits and left to starve.
Wargs: 0. The men of the lake are well aware of the species' longstanding kinship with orcs, and do not trust Wargs as steeds or beasts of burden. All wargs they have found have been killed.
Uruk: 0. If there are any remaining, the fellowship clearly is not doing its job properly.
Chirurgeon Teams: 0. The fellowship managed to carry several parcels, bags, and knapsacks filled with Elvish Medicine with them - these, however, barely suffice to treat their own number, let alone the masses of Thaurband. A small stockpile has been assembled that is kept in reserve for treating malady and injury amongst the more important members of the fellowship itself.
Goblin Slaves: 0. The freed men of the lake were not merciful, not even to those who were their unwilling comrades in bondage. The fellowship arrived to discover that the human prisoners had massacred the directionless and fractuous goblin slave populace.
Human Slaves: 2000 Human Slaves (10 Points). Thaurband was a prison town, meant to house the mighty population of men and goblins necessary to work the fields, mills, granaries, and canals of the river and lake. Most died of starvation or in the ensuing chaos after the fall of Sauron - but many survived to be discovered and assembled by the fellowship.
