I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

The status bar serves one of three purposes. You can be pretentious, you can tell people about your personal problems, or you can be a smartass.

~ End Of Chapter 133 ~
Mikey lifted his head up in surprise, and then smiled nervously. "Oh! Uh, well I've got nothing to really add here, honestly. I mean, aside from my understanding of Arcane energy and Ki, I guess. It sounds like we don't really know anything about our opponents, except for the basic idea of what they can do..? So, uh, anything I'd have to offer might not even be that useful..." Mikey paused and looked to Jeff. "Still, I think Jeff has a point. We should get back to the hero guild and plan from there. We have a lot of resources at our disposal, after all. We might be able to scout the tower.. From the sounds of it, we have at least a week to prepare, right?" He said, looking to Geode. Geode nodded and glared at Alvios.

"One, two, maybe three weeks. If you can incapacitate Yzeira for even a moment, the rift in the sky should repair itself in a manner of minutes. That's the real goal, here." Geode paused and looked out the window. "Of course, if you don't kill off the entire order, you'd only be prolonging the inevitable."
"That form is worthless," Geode grunted, "You are not a Gaian. If I'm not mistaken, it must have been gifted to you through unorthodox means. If you use that form, you will die," Geode admitted, without a second of delay. "You're forgetting the most important factor here. Stamina. If the members of the order are similar to me, they'll have a limitless supply of natural energy. And from my observation of our battle, you can only hold that form for 3 minutes without losing a substantial amount of stamina, with a maximum of ten minutes, assuming you wish to die. You won't be able to win against any of the order members if you fight them head on without a strategy." Geode crossed his arms and sat straight in his chair. "Pair that with the fact that you are, honestly, out-matched in terms of raw power, and this entire campaign is futile."
Geode grunted and crossed his arms in a fuss. "Shut up."
Geode's face contorted angrily for a moment. "I am the Golem Origins Deity- Erm.. Geode. I have created all that is, and ever will be on this paltry planet, and you would do well to respect that, worm." He paused and his eyes went dark. "Even if I've lost every last shred of my power.."
"It's a tear in the fabric of space, just as Oswald had inferred. A common occurrence on small scales, but.." Geode paused and looked Alvios over, somewhat intimidated by the man's presence despite his apparent demeanour, "...Rips in space-time usually seal themselves. The border between realities is thick, consisting of a mixture of arcane energy, void energy, and Ki. It would not stay open, nay, one would not even be able to rip it open on this scale unless they were to have mastery over all three elements. Even then, the amount of power to do something like this on such a scale that it would rip a universe apart... It has to be that Red one, Yzeira." Geode stopped and looked over to Jenso before continuing. "Why he would do this instead of simply destroying the planet, I believe he's trying to convince you to reconsider his offer, Jenso. Needless to say, it should take even him weeks to create a rip large enough to end this universe. You have time to prepare."

Shedding A Little Light On Things

The group arrived at Corona in no time at all, immediately following Jenso into the city, towards Melina's pub that was built near the east edge. It was late, and nobody was in the street. If they were, it was likely that they would all notice Jenso, and the lifeless golem that followed him, along with his two high-tech equipped friends, and the strange monk dude who looked like he was on the verge of passing out.

Melina welcomed them, half asleep herself. They were lucky to catch her just as they arrived at Corona. She didn't need to hear about anything happening. It would have just worried her, after all. With little delay, she offered the four men, and the rock thing, a room to sleep. When asked about Alvios, she mentioned that he's been given his own house. That was the least people could do, especially after Apollo was thrown out of town. He wasn't going to need his three story mansion anymore, was he?

As the night passed, the entire crew got a full night's sleep. But what they awoke to, was unlike anything they'd ever heard before in their lives. The five met downstairs, where Melina offered them breakfast on the house. It wasn't long before Alvios pounced into the building and delivered the news, long before the pub had even opened.

Geode was the first to respond.

"He's already started it?" Geode muttered.

"THERE'S A RIP IN THE SKY!?" Mikey exclaimed.

The universe's destruction had already begun.
Mikey turned his head briefly and nodded. "I figured it would be better for us to stop by there first anyways. It's pretty late, and I haven't slept in at least 36 hours with all the work we've been doing.." Mikey paused and yawned loudly. "Next stop.. Uh, Corona!"

"That tower is on the coast closest to the Gaian continent," Geode admitted, "East of Tech-Mo. Essentially, on the other side of the world. I could show you. If nothing else, watching you mortals get torn to shreds would offer me entertainment in the conclusion of this universe."
"If you did that, then you would be stupid," Geode grunted, uncooperative.
