Hello, is this series still open and active? I would really like to join up if that's possible.
I finished my Ray sheet. I was trying to go for a Hancock meets Luke Cage meets Phenomenon (with John Travolta)
Character Reimagined: The Ray

Secret ID: Raymond Terrill

Age: 30

Powers: The Ray has the power to process any form of illumination and use it for a variety of effects such as:

Flight- Raymond can fly at light speed, or nearly 700 miles an hour

Flashbangs- Raymond can produce a harmless amount of energy that is on par with the detonation of a nuclear bomb, rending everyone in a 50 mile radius to be blinded by the effects

Creation of Solid Light Constructs- for several seconds, Raymond can create solid light constructs on a simplistic level for hologram purposes

Invisibility- by bending the light waves around himself and others, Raymond can make himself invisible to the naked eye, but remains visible to all other forms of surviellance

Weaknesses: Raymond unfortunately possesses a rare and extreme case of Erythropoietic Protoporphyria, or an allergic reaction to light exposure. Whenever his powers are in use, he develops a body wide rash that takes weeks to a couple of months to recover from. This rash can range from localized after a quick fight with a criminal to an inability to move about as he would draw blood from too much movement with the infected area.

Personality: Hard drinking, Rough, Jerk with a Heart of Gold

Brief Bio

Raymond Terrill, otherwise known as T-Ray on the streets of Chicago amongst the less fortunate and homeless with whom he lives with. Raymond was born to unknown mother and a thug known on streets as Happy Terrill, and he was dumped on the doorstep of a homeless shelter who took him in and raised him. In his formative years he only ever heard of whom his father was, a selfish and morally ambiguous man with thoughts for only himself. Raymond though was unaware that the man he shared a room with in the shelter was Happy himself, acting like a guardian angel of sorts.

As Raymond grew up, he found himself very sickly during the day until a visit to a clinic doctor traveled his condition to him and told him that he could no longer walk in the light or it would kill him in a matter of weeks. So Raymond stayed in during the day and created a life for himself at night, finding himself to be much more agile and strong, his stamina as well being increased.

During the night though, the criminals of Chicago were much more active and Raymond had been pulled into that world through associates and people who paid for a little extra muscle. One night, he was pulled into a heist on a pawn shop next door to the homeless shelter that he lived at, and after an altercation and the plan going south, a fire had been started and consumed the shelter.

In attempt to stop things from getting worse, Raymond kept into action and tried to be a hero when he was confronted by his father in the blaze and witnessed him using his light based powers to fight the fire, but to no avail when a stray bullet from another victim's gin went off and struck him fatally. In his dying moments Happy revealed that he had never left his son's side and that the two of them had been exposed to a alien light the night he was born, which killed his mother and affected Raymond in both a positive and negative manner.

In a fit of anger and rage, Raymond consumed the heat of the fire and unleashed it upon the thugs. With his dead father in his arms, Raymond vowed that he would become a Ray of hope in the darkness of other's lives. Due to lying low during the day he has become an urban legend, but a hero in his own right.
*currently a work in progress and just an idea

The world's political climate and it's environmental climate have reached the point of no return, there are protests in the streets about Black and Blue Lives mattering, a Presidential Race in America and a medal race in Rio where people are living in squalor. But what if it was all started anew, the slate was wiped clean and none of the current issues mattered anymore?

Well on December 31st 2016, that's exactly what happened. When forces greater than ourselves intervened and every living being over the age of 30 suddenly vanished from the face of the Earth. Leaving the 20 somethings to inherit what they left behind and make sense of it all.

Some of them were left with a net worth higher than God himself, others left to fend for themselves. Some were next in line for their country's throne while others were left without leadership. Though in this new age, everyone was connected through their inheritance to survive...

___

The idea is that the story will take place 4 months from our current date in a yet to be determined city in America where we will play as a group of individuals brought together through this tragedy, or however our characters see it. There will be a broader, more worldly scope, while still keeping it contained in a smaller setting. Our characters can be anybody, so no two characters can be the same in everything, and this will be a non-superpowers roleplay so everyone is a normal human being.

I'm looking for about 5-10 people, or more to get this off the ground.

Ok, I'll make one for Punisher, then the others will be back ups just in case. Sounds like a plan, Stan :)
So, scratching out Kingpin on my list since my idea conflicts with the one mentioned. That leaves six left, Magneto is on the fence due to a Brotherhood arc. Is it Magneto run, or something Mystique/Saber tooth led? I'd still love to do Ultron, but I don't want to step on Gowi's toes, so he/it's in limbo.

That leaves four left, Punisher, Black Knight, Namor, and Iron Fist. Of those four I'm more keen on doing Namor, Punisher or Black Knight, but if I had to choose only one (which I do :p) I choose Punisher.

So in the end it's either Namor, Ultron or Punisher.

What if I make sheets for all three and we can choose the best one, or the one that fits the universe better or what have you?
Hello everyone, I hope there's room to join. I have seven characters I was thinking of using, a few of them intertwine with your already established characters so I was thinking maybe you guys could help me out and decide?

1)Namor- my idea was to have him be a king at the height of his rule, but then through a coup , he's overthrown and banished to the surface world. Here, he tries to make himself a new empire, but he's got a long road ahead of him.

Considering he's got a lot of connection with Fantastic Four characters, I'll leave up to you guys to judge him.

2)Magneto- Considering that there are already a few X-Men individuals, I can form him around their criteria.

3)Punisher- he's my all time favorite character, and I've been writing some extensive fan fiction on him for awhile. I was thinking of changing him to an 18 year old and making him the bastard son, or love child of a previous Punisher who has since died.

4)Iron Fist- I have ideas, but I'm not fully fleshed out with him yet. Part of me was thinking of starting him out as Green Hornet type and he eventually evolves into his own Kato.

5)Kingpin- I would love to do Kingpin, I was thinking that he's just an average schmuck who works at cubicle and has an average family life during the day. During the night, he is a ruthless and calculative criminal enterprise leader, and he struggles to keep the two lives seperate. This would be set in Wilson's early years.

6)Black Knight- I was considering this uptight asshole who's got nothing going for him, and he's basically one bad day away from shooting up a mall. Then he finds a package delivered to his apartment and comes into contact with the Ebony Blade, and becomes the Black Knight and his life starts to take a turn for the better.

7)Ultron- I was thinking of an early developed Ultron who is born into the world today and attempts to learn everything he can to help better his life, and those around him. Soon he goes from a sentient computer program with benevolent and innocent ideals to a crude and malformed mechanical vessel so that he can experience this amazing world for himself, but things go south fast and that sends him down the path of the genocidal robot we all know and love.

In a world of Patriotic Supersoldiers and Teenaged Web - Heads swinging around, in a universe ruled by Hammer welding Gods, comes the infancy of a new brand of Marvel. Set before the world as we know it where the Avengers exist to take on threats to our way of life, in the year of 2017 strange things seem to happen to ordinary individuals.

Somewhere in Africa, a little girl learns to control the weather of her barren homeland. Somewhere in Canada, an amnesiac beast of a man tries to find answers to his identity. These are just two examples of those who have been branded with the term 'Mutant', a sub-species of humanity when a scientist somewhere discovered the gene that links each and every one of them: The X-Gene.

Unfortunately in this uncertain world, there are people who are certain of the dangerous potential that mutant - kind poses to it's Big Brother. They enlisted the cooperation of a radical group of religious zealots known as Friends of Humanity to round them up by any means necessary and bring them to a remote location for processing and detainment if they are deemed too dangerous for society. It is here where the fate of humanity and it's little brother shall be changed forever.

It is here where the X-Men are born, where dreams are forged, and wills are broken. The Weapon X Facility...
