A scantron exam, but the answer is always C. Just C. Always C. Not a single A, B, D, or E. All answers are C. The statistical improbability is diabolical!

Crosses: Crosses are a mere annoyance than anything to elders, newer vampires would get burned /if/ it touched them. Elders would simply regenerate the damage and shrug it off. Silver: Silver hurts, period. Newer vampires, again, are weaker. Elders, while still vulnerable, will heal it at a moderate pace, the flesh slowly forcing the silver out as it regrows. Holy Water: New vampires worst enemy, especially vapor. Elders, In great amounts proves troublesome, small amounts you are basically poking them with a damned toothpick. Running Water: Does jackshit to anything, ever. Blessed Iron: Neh...Concept seems a bit...eh. Not sure how one would bless a chunk of metal.. Dead Man's Blood: Hinders healing powers, large doses can damage. Almost useless, but handy in a pinch. Poison: Younger vampires could be susceptible, depending on age. Does nothing to elders, whatsoever. Acid: What hurts flesh, hurts flesh. That simple. Stakes: RIP Sunlight: Possibly slightly annoying, does nothing other than that Did I miss anything? :D
Garlic, Holy Wafers (basically anything sacred or blessed to Judeo-Christianity, although frankly it is really the faith of the one holding the symbol, not the symbol in itself), Fire, Decapitation, Old Magic (and all enchanted weaponry). Although I'm not sure if the other genres of vampires are truly bound by this list. Perhaps one weakness must be replaced with another.
The trials I would assume, I have seen this before, we will be tested as we are groggy and hungover from last night >:D
Fools! The Feast was merely Part 1 of the exam! Pie-eating contest! Hot-dog eating contest! Drinking competition! The guild accepts no one of weak stomach!
Pffft a exam implies there's a challenge! Sure Tudolf probably can't win a eating completion but I'd like to see if someone can beat the (already) drunk dwarf at a drinking contest!
Syrah can. He is named after a wine. His alcohol tolerances is high. Also he could just create a portal recycle the wine such that he only needs to ever drink one glass.
Of all the places to meet, a cavernous base, deep within the earth like vermin in the sewers. A cistern of vampire-kin though most likely of merely the common Draculian vampire, unlike his own offshoot from an even more ancient vampire. His lineage was defined through the Pale Lady who preceded the Vampire King long before the Count drew his first living breath. And of this bloodline, he was proud of being distinct from the others, and of those he sired would be of the same line as he. Yet, there were others outside of the Dracula bloodline who would be comparative, progenitors of elders like him who were inevitably tied to the World. Indeed he was old, but still a merely a child compared to the Pale Lady who had dwelt in the waters of the world to feast upon the blood of drowned men or make deals with them for her own purposes. Though she had been quiet for many years, centuries even, such that perhaps the others had forgotten about her in her inactivity, and as such may have also forgotten of Lord Bedivere. Fortunately, some business had already drew the Vampire Lord into the area, far away from his homelands of Britain and Mansion Estate which he had built upon the ruins of Camelot. Over the years he had amassed a good number of thrall to spread his influence across the global scale, yet he was always selective in the process to ensure his collection of puppets were above the ordinary. In the U.K. for example, his thrall ran Parliament, MI6 and even sat upon the throne as was quite a few rulers given the gift of vampirism by he. The U.K. branch of SOLDIER does know the Queen is a vampire, as afforded by her age and seemingly eternal reign, yet cannot make any moves against the Crown without public backlash. Here in the rebellious states however, Lord Bedivere had to settle for more disposable thrall, less powerful people who would merely act as business contacts for a persona he had developed of "The Collector" to serve as a front for his identity as a knight of a mythical kingdom. When humans learned that vampires exist, and that all their fears of the supernatural became true, what would their incompetent minds think if they knew the real purpose of Merlin's Stonehenge? With vampires you had thought and intellect, but with mindless undead humans called zombies it was quite a different story. Would it be interesting then, as a humanswalked into the underground vampire lair dressed in what would appear to be museum curator attire, and smelling slightly of alcohol. "I present to you, Lord Bedivere of Sinews." From the shadows of the entrance way did a elderly figure appear, dressed in an English business suit, umbrella in hand and black briefcase in the other, a bower hat on top and a pair of glistening oxfords laced up below. A few of the younger vampires may have curiously eyed the elder, and some of his peers may merely scoff at such an appearance. Though he never drank alcohol, it was not to be said that Bedivere was without a flask to drink a little, in this case the former museum guide who served as a contact for Early American Artifacts to be added to his collection. And being from a time period far more formal and upright than this current era, he preferred to remain groomed as dapper to maintain his appearances as he is one of the few vampires who could do so as unlike the Draculians he did have a reflection. In stark contrast however, one look at Magnus and his ire unleashed itself. "For what purpose have you called us here for? Judging by your attire, Is it for an S&M Club?" The insult directed at Magnus for the lack of formality in the younger's dress and chosen meeting place. Although perhaps the younger could insult the elder back by making a stab at the other's fear of getting his shoes muddy...
So, is there a formal Call for the vampires to assemble? Or is everyone just off on their own doing independent events which somehow become intermingled?
That's fine then, I'll go through another round of character development. Will take a few cycles to get the images right again.

Me too. Oh, say are your characters going to be fighting for the vampire rebels or for the human militaristic "peacekeeping" organization?
Mine will be on the vampire side as he sees little hope for humanity. He is after all, charged with the overseeing of Dracula's children. Although acceptable losses are, acceptable. Such that should thousands of vampires die for the sake of the betterment of the vampire race, then it would be well to do so.
He had barely noticed the captain emerge, or at least if he did, Syrah made no action to make it clear. Engrossed in his literature, it may have been slightly off-putting to some, yet did they expect much interaction from a magister? When the crowd began to trickle into the building, Syrah was amongst the last to enter, taking the bound bookmark to save his place. The benefit of entering late was quite simple really, it afforded him more time to read, and more so, allowed Syrah to the take the full view of the potential guild recruits. Evidently they expected a few of these set before him to die in merely attempting to join and sure enough the numbers did appear marginally smaller than earlier, not that he really was counting heads or anything but his eye in the logistics discerned it so. A strange menagerie of capable-looking individuals for certain, whatever these trials may be surely they did not expect people to sign a contract of the guild before the guild even accepts them? His eyes searched for the captain, who had disappeared from the ground floor and now seemed to speak with another figure in a rather grim-looking robe. One does not simply discuss business overlooking business, especially with a stranger in dark garb. Who was this individual who presided over them now? Having placed his or herself at a perfect vantage point to see the new possible recruits, and furthermore what business had they with the captain. Something was amiss perhaps, and there was something between them which Syrah's adoptive father would have done in the privacy of a room elsewhere. Or perhaps he was reading too much into it? His thoughts were returned to the present issue as a lieutenant handed him a contract to be signed and filled out. To which the puzzled mage raised a quaint and curious eyebrow to stare at the officer. A contract? Another one? To be so redundant and this contract of course would never supersede the previous agreement and arrangement made prior upon his own version. To amuse himself however, Syrah did glance over the contract, his eyes scanning the document's legalese before smiling back at the lieutenant. "It is unfortunate that I must politely refuse your request, kind sir. For I believe the Guild should have such a contract, although with much finer terms written and agreed upon, a copy of which should have been retained in guild records, triplicated into elven and dwarven as well, and filed with the appropriate governing bodies. Unless no such copy can be found within the records, at which I would request audience with your commanding officer who had requested for the guild to seek out my services to discuss the issue of a missing contract and if any appropriate changes in terms should be amended to the original I have retained for my own records?" With eloquence and verbosity, Syrah had made the lieutenant lose face. Although perhaps the man would be angered by his words, given his rank, should he attempt to make a scene for this petty incidence the guild would be the one shamed as the son of the Merchant King of Avalad would be able to stain the guild's reputation by merely testifying that the guild had a patchwork job of keeping records and any contracts would be taken without any real faith behind them. Furthermore, it would cause some attention to be drawn and underneath the eye of the captain, was it truly a good idea to do so? While the lieutenant struggled with the internal conflict, Syrah had already left the man flustered holding an empty contract. "Your Majesty, if I may inquire; what brings you here?" The magi had slipped into the throngs of bodies to find the elven king, although it was easy enough to spot the most regal-looking elf in the room in a crowd of mostly humans. Again, his elven was soft to offer the conversation privacy, as opposed to the loud-mouthed metal-jacket who was still being too obnoxious for Syrah's taste.
Most likely an "expedition" meeting to add something into his collection. Probably wrapping up some loose ends involving some Native American Relics. And by this, I do not mean going to a bar and having a drink. Or do I?
