@The Jest I appreciate your brushing up on what's been going on so far. :D

And Skadi? Would you mind giving me some info on her real quick? I have a general knowledge of some Norse lore, but I still don't know some of the figures in it, haha. ^^;

I don't like making things awkward by walking in without any knowledge. Especially given that my character is coming in late in the game, replacing a character that seemed..."active" for lack of a better word, and is likely to be an inversed version of her as far as personality is concerned. (Both have an inferiority complex, incidentally brought on by being in the shadow of a better patriarch, yet another creepy coincidence, but my version takes the inferiority....differently.)

From what I understand, Skadi or "Skaði" is a Female Ice Jotun associated with Winter, Mountains, and The hunt, essentially making her Surtr's polar opposite in a way. She married god by the name of "Njörður" one time, and by extension became the Stepmother of Freyr and Freya.

Now I've been trying to find a Citing source as to her role in Ragnarok. ...I haven't found it. I've seen a description saying that all the gods would "Return to her at the end of Ragnarok", but I found no source to back that up, which is why I didn't ask for her while asking for Surtr.

However, given that she is affiliated as an Embodiment of Winter, I believe her involvement may be with "Fimbulwinter".
@EchoicChamber

Ok, My analysis of all the CSes is now complete.

Now onto checking on the IC. ...Hoo boy... XD

Also, GM, If it's not too much trouble, will you permit me another Specific Jotun? I would like to take claim of Skadi as well. ^_^
@The Jest@CollectorOfMyst Alright, I've marked down both runes as Claimed. c: Looking forward to seeing your characters!

@SantosGabriel77 Glad to see that you're interested! Since the runes have been filled as of now, would you like a World Eater?

@Blueflame I would say take out the multiple forms, if possible- at least for now. Jotuns and wargs can transform into giants and wolves respectively, but I'm not sure if there are any creatures in Norse lore that can transform into shadow creatures. If anyone knows of one that can, however, feel free to call me out on it!

Also, as for the list of Norse World Eaters that are taken off the table, off the top of my head:
Hel
Nidhoggir
Fenrir
Jormungandr
Skoll
Hati

In addition, the Norse gods are off the table by default, although they don't quite count as WEs. c:

(Surtr is also now off the table now that Jest has taken him, but I didn't want it to seem like I was being wishy-washy on whether he was allowed or not, haha)

Thank you.

Just finished reading the CS for Jormungandr

...Is it bad that I honest-to-god want to hug the world snake now? XD

Downside to Algiz is the possibility of getting Isa leading your team leader. Isa is the worst.

<Snipped quote by The Jest>

I'll drop you a PM relating to some of the stuff to discuss. =)

Depending on what you mean by "The Worst", I don't think you'll have to worry too much if I do use the Aigiz Rune. The character I have in mind have dealt with assholes in charge or partnered before...Off this universe but still. XD

And very well. ^^

EDIT: @EchoicChamber Upon looking, I noticed that my Predecessor happened to also be skilled at combat, which essentially answered my question for me.

Now I have no doubts. I'll be taking that Aigiz Rune.

EDIT 2: And I just noticed that my predecessor actually has quite a few similarities with both candidates I had in mind...A creepy coincidence, but somewhat fortunate for you, makes the transition likely easier that way. XD
Oh heyyy new people! I'm Vt, pleased to meet you.

@The Jest If you're doing a Surt it might be useful for us to talk as I've been doing all the background stuff for Jotun/Fire Jotun up to this point, know what things are happening with them behind the scenes and have a Fire Jotun in play at this moment.

Very well. I have no intentions of hindering any plans, and I do still need to read up on stuff. Any enlightenment for my characters would be much appreciated.
@The Jest Alright, I'll go ahead and make the list tomorrow, then, as I had to step off my computer for the night. c:

Very well...OH, I forgot to mention: Before deciding between Aigiz and Berkano, I'd like to ask if you would appreciate an Aigiz Rune user with combative ability...specifically of the martial arts kind.

If so, I'll take Aigiz. If not, I'll take Berkano instead.
@The Jest@Blueflame If you would like, I can go ahead and put a list of the "named" mythological creatures/world eaters that are off the table to make things easier, so that way y'all don't struggle as much?

And Surt would be fine. c:

Surt it is then...But yes, I won't speak for Blueflame, but I, for one, would very much appreciate this. ^_^

I have other questions, however, I will save them until I look at the CSes already made. As it's likely some of them would be answered by doing so.
@The Jest Yep. The gods of Norse lore will likely not appear within the plot themselves, or at the very least until things go into full swing and things are set for a good opportunity for them to drop in.

I see...What about Surtr?
@The Jest Hel is one of the characters that you can't take, due to plot reasons, unfortunately. Sorry!

Hmm...Most unfortunate. And I imagine Loki himself is the same in that respect?
@The Jest Hi, Jest! Good to see that you're interested in the Roleplay. c: Norse mythology has been incredibly interesting to learn about, and it's always nice to see someone with similar interests. The World-Eaters' availability depends largely on what sort of WE you'd like- jotuns and wargs are always up for grabs, but if it's something or someone specific (like my character, who is Nidhoggir, for instance), then you have to grab a figure that hasn't been claimed yet.

And sounds good! By the way, the "Blessed" are the organization that took the Runes in. c: You can also take a character among the Blessed if you'd like, but the Runes are referred to as Runes for the most part.

@Blueflame Aight, sounds good. Any idea as to what sort of WE you would like?

Hel. Daughter of Loki, The Norse Equivalent of Hades.

And I might take you up on that offer of the Blessed as well as a rune.

@Blueflame Doin just fine. ^_^
