Current Need info, so might as well throw a bottled question into the ocean of statuses... What are some features/ideas/etc. that YOU want to see in a monster taming/raising game? All genuine ideas welcome.

@Dane, I need you to talk to a physicist and a psychiatrist, in that order, twice.

"The worst thing you can do to a character is to make them aware that they're fictional." Ironically, the character who would say this is from an RP I'm not in anymore... Funny, that.

Just like in JJK, explaining the joke makes it funnier. Luckily that's built into this one.

Jimbo that's not right. Humans are a social creature, there's not a single one who can truly survive on their own. Even those who seem to be able can only do so because they learned from others.

In this particular rendition of holy water. There's nothing that states they have to all behave the same way.

By definition holy water is water that has been blessed. Blessing work the same way consistently. If it is holy water, it behaves the same way or else it's something else.
<Snipped quote by Legend>

The first makes more sense. Maybe the holiness was burned into the bullet as it heated up? Fire is associated with holiness and purity after all, at least in Judeo-Christian beliefs, so that might work.

<Snipped quote by ZAVAZggg>

Yeah, exactly. Plus, who knows how this particular brand of holy water works?

That's not how it works. Holy water can be used to bless something like a bullet, but it acts as a catalyst for it rather than a transfer from the water to the thing. Burning up holy water that was on something would only get rid of the properties, as opposed to boiling something in holy water which does actually transfer the water's blessings onto the thing boiled.
Wynter Lobos

Montmarte, moving towards the Business District

Wynter followed Archer as they went through the business district towards the Opera House. As they passed through the open-air markets she spoke up. "... So... What all do you want to do, now that you're alive again? Things have obviously changed quite a bit from your era, plus we're in a totally different country... Oh! What should I call you, anyway? We should probably hide your class and of course your name is a no-go, so..."
I'm actually curious, how many (if any) self insert characters have there been in the history of MR?

Dark is literally just me. Since we started out as basically a message board I wasn't even technically a self-insert until quite a while in.

Montmarte - Following Archer
@Danchou

"Mm. Yeah, I'm fairly certain that going near any major landmark is going to be dangerous. Well, maybe not the stock exchange. I don't imagine it would have much magical significance and it would probably have too many people to be a good battleground, though that might make it perfect for you to fight in. You can hide among the crowd and avoid shooting innocents pretty easily." 'Living wild' wasn't exactly Wynter's MO, but she was sure Archer knew what he was doing, so she went along with him, albeit nervously.

Six Coins Rider

Eiffel Tower
@Indra

Rider sighed. His Master was going to get herself killed if she just casually threw away his protection like that. Nonetheless, he had an order. He de-materialized his armor and quickly changed into the clothes Rei had given him (black sportswear, it seemed) before moving towards the nearby battle in spirit form. He perched slightly up on the Eiffel Tower, just within hearing range, as he watched the fight between Assassin and Saber.

Wynter Lobos

West End of Montmartre: Family-rented house.

Wynter was stunned for a moment, but as Archer continued talking, she couldn't help but smile. Maybe things would work out after all? She felt a surge of confidence with Archer by her side. "You're right, I'm sorry. As your partner, I should at least give something myself. Hmm..." She paused in thought. "This house has supplies and a basic bounded field to detect intruders, but that's all. My father planned to improve it as the war went on, but... he's gone now, and I need to be able to handle things without him if we're going to survive. Finding a better place might be a good idea, but if we can't this is at least the bare minimum we'll need."

"As for gandr... I can shoot fairly accurately, but I don't think I could hit a moving target in a critical spot if it came down to it, so if you have a way to practice for that, it could be useful. Alternatively, if I have a couple seconds, I could make gandr rain from a surface such as a wall, but then there's not accuracy; it's just 'spray and pray', so to speak."

"As for the catalyst, it's a decent gun for its time, made famous by the deadliest shooter in the Wild West. Maybe not the best shooter, but the one with the highest death count. But you're right about needing to find out more about the city. I did precursory scouting earlier but it would be better for you to see it with your own eyes, right?"

Six Coins Rider

France-Paris. Eiffel Tower

"I'm quite impressed by the modern world, yes. But don't you think replacing a landmark as large as this with something as out of place as my Noble Phantasm would be asking other Servants to come find us? Not to mention the chaos it would cause. I doubt I could fit it at the bottom without destroying at least one corner of it, but if that is your command I will follow it, my lord. I wouldn't mind trying out a modern 'vehicle', the plane that brought us here was fascinating, but I feel it would be dishonorable to have to steal one. If we could simple purchase something the size of a horse, I believe that would be best. Perhaps one of these 'motorcycles' would work well?"

Rider didn't truly care one way or another for how his Master treated him yet, the real test would be after the initial stress of just having arrived. He would serve faithfully unless an unforgivable offense was committed. Not interacting with other Servants suited him just fine. Scouting is an important step that must happen before combat, after all.

Wynter Lobos

West End of Montmartre: Family-rented house.

Wynter's mind was going 100mph as it finally began to sink in that she was a part of the now started war. She thought back to the preparations she had made on her father's behalf to begin working out a plan. It was common knowledge that three powerful mages would be participating, but she didn't have access to their names, which scared her greatly. Since Archer was summoned with his own weapon(s), she decided to take the gun used as the summoning catalyst (a Colt 1851 Navy Revolver) and hide it on her person. Taking the lead on things was new to her and although she was a fast learner her inexperience only brought more worry to her.

... She should probably learn to use it soon, but that was pushed aside in favor of scoping out the local area for other Masters and Servants. Then again, perhaps they should simply use the night catching Archer up on details of the city?

"Hey, Archer? What do you think we should do?" She didn't want to just force him to go along with her nor did she have the confidence to do so, so she simply gave away the decision making to him. She was far too stressed to make a sound decision.
