Current Need info, so might as well throw a bottled question into the ocean of statuses... What are some features/ideas/etc. that YOU want to see in a monster taming/raising game? All genuine ideas welcome.

@Dane, I need you to talk to a physicist and a psychiatrist, in that order, twice.

"The worst thing you can do to a character is to make them aware that they're fictional." Ironically, the character who would say this is from an RP I'm not in anymore... Funny, that.

Just like in JJK, explaining the joke makes it funnier. Luckily that's built into this one.

Jimbo that's not right. Humans are a social creature, there's not a single one who can truly survive on their own. Even those who seem to be able can only do so because they learned from others.

Salvador: Ah, that. It's answer was always "Those who hide themselves will find no truth or chances to prove themselves. As someone who does so you will find yourself going no further."
Which is a load of crap, as I would never hid myself.

Hmm. That's something you would be most suited to answer. We could have you interact directly with your zanpakuto spirit, but for the most part sword zen is the most effective way to progress.
<Snipped quote by The World>

Salvador: It's power?

Its answer.
<Snipped quote by The World>

Salvador: *Annoyed tone.* Greaaaaaaat.

What is it, anyway?
<Snipped quote by The World>

Salvador: Any explanation of why it's power is what it is, what part of me it was an extension of, and what the heck I'm supposed to do to go farther. *Once his foot is healed, Salvador walks over and picks up the Zanpakutō.*
Salvador: But every single time it just threw the same answer in my face.

Then that answer is probably the correct one.
<Snipped quote by The World>

Salvador: Oh I learned the blasted thing's name alright. But the darn thing won't give me a straight answer otherwise until I "Show my true heart and prove myself." Like hell I'm going to bow before a fraction of my own soul.
Samantha: Do I need to put a bullet in your other foot?
Salvador: *Glares but says nothing.*
Samantha: Good. If you agree to watch your language and tone your ego, I'll heal your foot.
Salvador: *Lets out a deep sigh before limping over.* Alright... alright.

What exactly are you trying to achieve with it? What "straight answer" do you want?
Shion turned to Kotoki. "Alright, listen. Defending this place is a lost cause. I may not be a fancy hacker like you guys, but I play a lot of strategy games and a lot of stealth games and believe me, it's easier to get lost in a riot than it is to talk your way out of getting caught where you're not supposed to be. Now that we know what we're after, we can start searching for it. You really need to get lost, go blend in with the crowd and look around because if there's security on this list you're the only one who'll know how to get it. The only people coming here are going to be the ones who know what's going on in terms of security enough that they know this is the command center." Shion paused and sat cross-legged on the ground.

"Now, boy-wonder has a decent shot at stopping the Elecmon and interrogating him without getting caught, because now everyone will be confused. I'm going to either confuse or defeat everyone who comes in here, and honestly you'll just be in my way if you stay. I suggest leaving through the same hatch as Elecmon and then pulling up the rope so it's not obvious that you left that way." She glared at the hatch. "Similarly, if the others are smart, they'll use this opportunity to blend in with the crowd and search for the documents without being noticed."

Shion stopped for a moment then stood back up and walked over to Kotoki, poking her on the cheek in an attempt to provoke her. "Let's not forget that this is your fault for giving us away when I was trying to do damage control. If you hadn't scared off Elecmon we wouldn't need to reset our stealth levels." Shion sighed. "But that's not important. What's important is getting out of here without our digimon getting hurt."

"Please, leave this area to us. I know she can seem strange, but she's usually got a method to her madness."

"Besides, we're sharp enough to handle anyone who comes here on our own." Zuba added.

Samantha: hmmmmm... guess Ill have to look down a different avenue for that.
Salvador: *Stomps out of the time distorted room and attempts to lodge the Zanpakutō into the ground with a throw.* This bloody sword was a fucking waste of time! Why the hell should I have to prove myself to an object?!
Samantha: *Pulls a gun out from a pocket dimension and shoots Salvador in the foot from where I'm standing.*
Salvador: *Jumps and starts hopping around on one foot.* Ahhggg! For fucks sake why did you do that?!
Samantha: *Holds up a finger for each reason.* Ego, Language, and Temper. We are currently guests here.
Salvador: *Grumbles but doesn't give a retort.*

That's called a zanpakuto, it's both a separate entity and a part of your soul. If you're not able to learn its name, you may as well quit now.
<Snipped quote by The World>

Suzy: Cool.
Samantha: Does the effect amplify if you can already produce an electric current?
*Holds her thumb and forefinger apart and a small arc of electricity sparks to life between them.*

I suppose it would be easier. You wouldn't need to use ki to do it. But turning air into plasma is caused by heat, so I doubt it would amplify.
<Snipped quote by The World>

*Samantha is able to do so within a few minutes, but it takes Suzy an hour.*

And that's the gist of it. If you focus it within your body correctly, you can use your electric potential to plasmafy the air between your hands, then manipulate that plasma via ki. Or you can use it pure like you are now.
Shion smacked Kotoki on the back of the head. "Great job, doofus. Chase after him. You're the one who threatened him, go make good on it. Telling him who sent us, sheesh it's like I'm the only one taking this seriously." She walked over to the computer and quickly pressed every button other than the one that opened the hatch. "You." Shion pointed at Issei. "Climb up there and hide after she goes up. I'm going to cause some chaos and it would be best to have you out of the way."

"Did you seriously think the bathroom thing would work?" Ludo asked Zuba.

"No, I totally blanked on what to do. I'm not as good at spontaneous stuff as you are."

With that, Ludo stood close to Shion and Zuba stood watching the door.
