Current Need info, so might as well throw a bottled question into the ocean of statuses... What are some features/ideas/etc. that YOU want to see in a monster taming/raising game? All genuine ideas welcome.

"The worst thing you can do to a character is to make them aware that they're fictional." Ironically, the character who would say this is from an RP I'm not in anymore... Funny, that.

Just like in JJK, explaining the joke makes it funnier. Luckily that's built into this one.

Jimbo that's not right. Humans are a social creature, there's not a single one who can truly survive on their own. Even those who seem to be able can only do so because they learned from others.

"Merry July."

It's Christmas.

As soon as Suki explained herself, Tsubomi went straight back to her normal, unguarded state. And to match it was her slowed thinking. Taking a moment to do so, she looked over her shoulder to see if the three hangers-on were still there. Luckily, more so for the others who might care about appearances, it appeared they hadn't decided to stay around to see the club members talking to the air.

She didn't get to hear the end of Suki's question, and by the time it caught up with her, she had already started listening to Nyxia. It wasn't long before Kiyo joined in, just before Tsubomi finished processing Nyxia's question. Whether it was supposed to be insulting or not was irrelevant, she took it as literal as she normally did. The timing of her delayed response was perfect, however, as she looked over to see something on Kiyo's lap.

“And just who the fuck might you be? The club mascot?”

"Not really..." Tsubomi replied, not noticing that Nyxia apparently hadn't seen her at Suki's place the night before. The slow girl simply pointed to the creature(?) resting on Kiyo. "That is."

She'd probably just stand there until one of the leaders showed up. Chances were that they'd be there soon, anyway. And if not, at least she wouldn't get yelled at by Earthshaker if she stayed here.
Shorter post, basically just having Hei Long get bodied and Hikari be in serious danger from the Cyclops.
Hikari Kana

Oh. Oh. That was all that went through Hikari's mind as she looked up from her leg to see the scene before her. Akane was still holding onto the angel's leg, but the other large demon that had been summoned by the cult leader now seemed to have its attention on her. And... And... And why was it wearing a shirt but not pants? Sure, it didn't seem to have genitals, but still, what purpose did that serve? As she thought on this, her eyes lowered to the ground and her brow furrowed. She was way too distracted for the midst of a battle. She didn't even notice that her hand was shaking.

Meanwhile, the blonde girl and the man with the snowman were fighting really well, beating most of the cultists by themselves. Which was a very, very good thing, only further so because Hikari was definitely not focused on fighting at the moment and Akane was far too focused on her fight. The dragon was still busy trying to continue cutting up the angel on the ground to even notice the giant that was walking towards her human partner. She didn't realize that it was now next to her until she felt its hammer come down on the back of her head, sending Akane flying into the side of the stage at high speed.

The crashing sound caused Hikari to jolt, the knife in her hand digging back into her leg and the pain of it breaking her out of her thoughts. Shit that hurt. She looked up to see the Cyclops was now within a few of its large steps of reaching her and the Virtue was now standing again. It didn't seem like it was ready to fly again, but and its attention was focused on Hikari's partner, but it looked pretty pissed. As pissed as one can look wit such a strange face, at least.

The human girl tried to stand up, but the pain was too much for her to be able to put her weight on it. And so when the Cyclops raised its hammer above her, and the Virtue summoned a ball of fire to shoot at Akane, all Hikari could do was shut her eyes tight.
Kari Primrose

She didn't get a response. Typical. Apparently these "digimon" were no different than humans, when it mattered. She was even beginning to doubt the existence of their supposed "god," if everything it did was just something that this "MagnaAngemon" was actually the one doing. She was about to speak up when the creature summoned a pair of glasses in front of her.

Glasses? Why glasses? And... did these things have a bloody blue-light filter!? These, uh... "digivices" seemed kind of stupid. Was this a Persona 4 kind of thing? Were they going to go on an adventure to fight monsters while discovering their true selves? Ugh, gag me. She was about to say something, once again, when MagnaAngemon continued only to say that they were stuck here no matter whether they wanted to be here or not, and that the only way out was to succeed or find someone strong. Great, so these digimon things really are just as bad as humans.

Kari had just reached out to grab her "digivice" when there was another bright flash, this time taking them all to a forest. The shortest human decided to Area 51 run into the forest, only for a new arrival to fall onto his head. And, just great, this one looked like a rich bitch. Just as Kari thought this, she took a mental step back. Was she really letting some sort of angel make her this upset?

... Yeah, probably. But he was gone now, and there was no need to be angry at these other people. At least not yet. Sooner or later they'd probably show themselves to be deserving of it, but for now they only deserved the benefit of the doubt. She let out a deep sigh and imagined the sun's light going from the top of her head and down her body, leaving through the tips of her toes. That was better. By the time she finished her slight meditation, the others were giving out their names.

"I'm Yurie Shinozaki, other way around if you're Japanese."

"Name's Isaac. Isaac Skye. Work for for a software company out in New York. Ain't much else to it."

"Yeah, thanks and all, but I'm not giving my name out. Call me whatever you want, it doesn't matter to me. Also, sorry if I seem ticked off, that angel guy sort of caused that."

Now then, where were these "partners" of theirs?

Kari Primrose

"Speaking of us, I am MagnaAngemon, and this is D'arcmon. We are angel Digimon who serve the will of Yggdrasil."

... Wait. Why did they both have such similar names? And a reference to Joan of Arc? Sure, the "angel" looked relatively human, but... Did the legendary hero get sent here when she died? Chance were that she didn't get a bloody email to send her here, at least. This only brought more questions. Did the email kill the humans here? What was with the "mon" suffix in their names? Furthermore, if Yggdrasil was their god, were they in a world of Norse mythology? Was there an Odin, here? Or... an "odin-mon," perhaps? But a god that actually tried to help its subjects? That was leagues better than she expected.

Honestly, the idea of being a... well, the excitable boy called them "superheroes" but Kari highly doubted that idea. Still, the thought wasn't horrible. A way to help those who need it is exactly what she wanted. So what if they were from a different world? That doesn't make them less real, right? Kari reached into her pocket for her phone, bringing it out to look at the email once again.

After a moment, she gave a deep sigh and put on a small smile.

"Alright, let's do this, yeah? I'll help you guys, at least. What can I do?"
@Cleveraptor
It might be a good idea to PM that person who was late to the Interest Check before opening to everyone?
@Zeroth
Absolutely, I can barely understand him and it's adding to the experience lol

The music Tsubomi mentally listens to, all day every day.

Tsubomi, for her part, barely managed to stay awake through class today. Which wasn't exactly an uncommon occurrence, but that she didn't pass out was slightly rarer than her doing so. Tsubomi's peers kept a running bet on whether the youngest member of the Detention Club would fall asleep in class or not. There was even a bonus for if she hit her head on her desk when she did. Her classmates believed that she didn't know their secret, but the truth was that she just didn't care to influence it. After all, she wasn't getting anything out of it. It wasn't as if she could get away with transforming to fully siphon their excitement or anger at the results, and proper gamblers were a better source anyways.

She was already watching the clock for the two minutes before the class ended, making sure not to let herself be startled by it. So when it came, she stood up slowly, grabbing her class materials to put in her bag and stretching to try to wake herself up. Chances were that the Club would have to do something today, so it wouldn't do to not be ready. Still, she waited until the rest of her class had left before moving from next to her seat and-

Her phone buzzed in her pocket just as she finished her near-minute-long stretches. Finally standing up properly, or as properly as you can when you hunch over, she checked the message.

Rainbow! ^-^ Wanna do me a solid and get to the club room ASAP? <^o^>

Tsubomi blinked slowly. Was something wrong? Would Suki send those faces if something was wrong? ... Probably. So she picked her bag off of her table and headed out the door, speed-walking towards the club room. That would probably garner some attention from the other students, that the slow girl would be moving at anything other than a snail's pace, but luckily nobody tried to stop or speak to her. However, it seemed that a few of them were trying to sneakily follow her... She didn't bother stopping or slowing down, or even try to lose the ones trailing her. If something was wrong, it was in her best interests to get there and fix whatever it was.

When she finally arrived, she didn't bother to set her stuff down or talk to the three students who had kept following her while the others had given up. She immediately started looking around, only to see nothing out of the ordinary. It even seemed like, for the first time ever, she was the first one to arrive to the Club. So she pulled out her phone and sent Suki a message of her own, speaking into her phone.

"I made it, what's up? ... ... ... Did you know how weird it is being the only person in the club-room? I don't like it." Finished speaking her text message, she hit 'send.'

Ah, sorry I didn't write it clearer then. I'll try to fix that in the future.
@Eviledd1984
