Already inside of the room, Saint leaned against the wall by the door with his arms crossed. He had been standing there since before the first of the house representatives had arrived, ignoring the food and attempts at conversation. His hands rested near the daggers he carried as he examined the occupants of the room.

Despite himself he managed to restrain himself from following Arrine around the Tower, especially with Saturday present. So he waited, looking over each guest as they arrived. As they entered he was aware of every weapon they carried and piece of metal on them.

He met his master's eyes as she stared at him, unflinching. Then he sighed and rolled his shoulders.

“We have little aside from what is commonly known. The most interesting part is what we don’t have. No witnesses, no trace evidence or much signs of struggle. And with no wounds we have no idea of the sort of weapon or spell that is being used. Right now we only have the barest hint at some sort of motive regarding the internal organs and perhaps an Affinity in a similar vein.”

@TheFake: Spells have to be involved in magic, even if they're cast mentally. At will manipulation of something with a physical existence isn't possible unless it's tied to a magic trait. There has to be something there, even if it's an incredibly short spell cast mentally.

I've changed the wording there.
After much procrastinating...

Vs Naoko

The last piece fell into place and like a puzzle she knew the solution. Sonya used a shot from Apollyon to blast away the bottom portion of the debris so that she could dive under it. Once she had sprung back to her feet, Sonya fired again down the direction she had come from and then took aim again at the sky.

Indrau was the last to mount his horse, hurrying to catch up to the rest of the group. As he rode, he looked down at his sheathed blade. He didn’t feel humbled, as a third born son he had never thought highly of himself, but for the second time in his life he felt inadequate, like he had let down those around him. Silence, a masterpiece of runic magic built by his own hands, was unequal to the task at hand.

He rode up next to Tyeathe, unbuckling his sword belt. Indrau held the sheathed blade out to her with a grim, almost pained look on his face.

“I fear I may be equal to the task ahead. This might be better in your hands.”

Vs Naoko

Sonya spun and dove to the side, lashing out with the articulated metal tail as she shouted. Not in surprise or in fear, but in rage.

“Rage of Angels!”

Arcs of destructive energy burst out of her body at intersecting angles, tearing at the street and buildings around them. Sonya hit the ground and rolled, bouncing back to her feet with another flick of the tail. Sonya aimed her weapon again and gave Naoko a grim smile.
