Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

Charlotte Carolle Lutwidge

Lutwidge Manor - Library

Charlotte stared at the older boy in silence for a moment, before nodding. "You can start by taking a seat, Howard, or do you prefer Howie?" she offered politely. "Also, thank you. The library was my mother's and she went through painstaking effort to developing it." She was genuinely surprised by his reaction towards it, and also somewhat grateful. Asides her fathers statue collection, her mother's library was prioritised during her efforts to claim her inheritance. There were books in here that were rarities among rarities, and their literary value aside, some individually could probably be sold for numbers at no less than a six-digit range. There were at least two that went into the seven-digit range and were probably some sort of national treasure somewhere.

The girl slid a tray filled with cookies towards his end of the table, offering it to him wordlessly.

"First of all," she began, after allowing Techster a moment to get comfortable, "I would like to know: What do you want from me? For all intents and purposes, I am just a girl tied up in an admittedly bitter legal battle for her inheritance.

"Your own personal suspicions aside, there is little you could get out of coming to me like this, unless you're considering blackmail, which I will inform you beforehand, will turn out very, very poorly for you."

As if to emphasise her point, the Aida who had been last seen closing the door, had soundlessly positioned herself behind him, and only now made her presence known. Her hands were hidden behind her back, though they were no doubt already holding on to something to make good on Charlotte's words.

"So why me? If it's funding you want, you could get it easier from other sources, without having to go through the trouble of digging them out of a rough spot in court."

She was honestly curious. Why her, of all people? She couldn't think of anything that would have procured this sort of reaction from anyone, least of all an apparent hero like him.

Aida and Charlotte both processed his words. If what he said was true, then that would accelerate her plans by months, years even. With Charlotte's legal problems completely done with, they could divert their focus towards information gathering and expanding the range of her operations. Even more, the amount of money, while admittedly small in comparison to the total amount of assets she possessed, was not inconsequential - if she were free to use that money elsewhere, she could begin supplying herself with better equipment, and even get around to overhauling the manor into a more secure headquarters, or further down the line, begin funding other heroes as well!

Charlotte shook her head. No, she shouldn't get ahead of herself just yet. It was a fanciful thought, but it would be better to keep her expectations low. For now, they needed to verify if what he was saying was true.

"I . . . see," said Aida, with a nod of her head. "This is certainly incredible news. You will forgive me if I have a hard time believing it and your good intentions. If you do not mind, I would like to verify the documents before dealing with you any further."

The maid entered the house for a second, before coming out with a wooden fold-able chair. "It would be discourteous to have you stand the whole time, please sit here for the moment." And with that, Aida disappeared back into the manor.

Once inside, she handed the device to Charlotte, who quickly got to work picking it apart. Just a few seconds in and it was already apparent that he was not lying. The information contained with in could decisively end her legal problems, and moreover, with the documentation he provided, she now had an idea of how to cover her tracks.

Despite the help he provided, it was still a bad sign that he was able to discover as much about her as he'd had, even if what he'd discovered was not quite damning. Still, this was dangerous information about her. She'd rather remain as anonymous as possible, for the time being.

Charlotte nodded at Aida, and the maid proceeded straight for the kitchen. It seemed as though she would be meeting with Techster after all, and see what he wanted out of this.

It took a quarter of an hour before the maid returned. Hopefully the boy wasn't feeling too impatient with them.

"Thank you for waiting. After careful deliberation, m'lady has decided to meet with you," she opened the door for him, inviting him inside with a gesture. "If you would please."

Once inside, the maid led them through the enormous mansion. It was dimly lit - not much point in keeping the lights on when the one person who needed them usually stayed in her room all day - even if it was well maintained and clean. In silence, Aida walked until they came upon the large wooden double doors that led to what was once Charlotte's mothers' library.

The room itself was large, taking up an area of about 20 feet and two floors high, but as for actual living space, there was almost none to speak of. Nearly every inch of the place was covered in books, or manuscripts. There were also display cases of various gemstones and diagrams of machines and clothes of all kinds. Needless to say, the room exuded an aura of quiet knowledge.

Charlotte was seated across a wooden desk, playing idly with a chocolate-chip cookie in hand. It was hand made by Aida, though it wasn't quite fresh off the oven. She found it was still serviceable as a snack though. She made great cookies after all - although now she was wondering when she even had the time to learn how to bake; it was strange, despite their mental connection, the maid was still somehow found a way to surprise her.

In any case, she put finished off the cookie in one bite, and then, her face was strictly business.

When she spoke, her voice was the high-pitch expected of a child her age, yet it held none of the wavering uncertainty, or the ever-present garble as words threatened to trip upon another. Her tone was soft, but carried itself with surprising clarity across the room, serious and direct. It was a face Aida found she put far too often these days.

"Good evening. Though you're already aware of who I am, let me introduce myself for the sake of formalities."

"I'm Charlotte Carolle Lutwidge, a pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

Just realized how young Techster is ha ha. I swear if he came to Charlotte just to make friends she'll be majorly annoyed

If this was an attempt at getting her to let her guard down, it was working. Whoever this boy was he was incredibly underwhelming, to put it nicely. To put it bluntly, he was kind of a dork. But his words bore considering; she didn't know what he knew, but it was clear he'd made found something out about her. Whether his offer to help her was genuine or otherwise would remain to be seen, but she would agree to meeting him - at least, meeting him in kind - at least until she could ascertain how much about her he knew. It would be dangerous if he had knowledge of something incriminating, or even worse, her identity. She'd play by ear with this one.

She'd let Aida make the opening move.

The mannequin instinctively understood her intent, and walked quickly back upstairs to her room. For Techster, he would be left in silence for a couple of minutes, with only Cheshire as his (unknowing) companion. Finally, the door opened.

Aida had donned a face - literally - to meet with young man, it was a face called "Camilla" - a fake maid with a real birth certificate that Charlotte had commissioned. Plenty of her faces had their own, verifiable identities. It made it easier for the mannequin to move about in broad daylight, when needed.

Still dressed in her maid outfit, she greeted him with a quick bow and said, "We will talk here, if you don't mind." Although she sounded polite it was apparent that it didn't really matter much if he minded or not; they were going to talk outside, and he was not stepping in.

"I'd rather not disturb the mistress, you see. She requires rest, and a matter such as this requires . . . discretion," she spoke. implying as though Charlotte were unaware of their meeting. "Now, who are you, and what is it you want?" Her voice was even and eerily devoid of emotion. Aida had a phenomenally good poker face, which was a given as she did not truly have one. More than once she found it gave her an advantage during negotiations, when no one could discern her true intentions.

"Put those reports on the pile over their, Aida."

The stoic mannequin complied with her request, placing a stack of papers neatly upon an ever growing pile of them. Her room, in simple terms, was a complete mess. Large towers of paper up to an adult man's height grew here and there, while photos and maps were haphazardly taped across the wall. Two large T.V. monitors dominated the space at the front of the room, while several smaller ones hovered above them. Presently a large portion of the king-sized bed was occupied by weapons and diagrams. Aida had pleaded with Charlotte more than once to let her clean it, the sight growing increasingly unbearable for her, though she did not voice it, but Charlotte refused. She'd rather not have her notes rearranged when she was quite aware of where she'd placed them; 'organized chaos' and all that.

As of current, she was working on something. A lead, at least, that was what she'd like to believe. Useful information with regards to her target was becoming increasingly difficult to grab hold off. Most data she was able to process turned out to be junk or simply a different variation of information she'd heard a hundred times over. She was loathed to admit it, but she was getting frustrated with the lack of development, and it may be affecting her judgement. She was even tempted to don White Knight and go into town for simple 'heroics' for a change of pace - as pointless as that course of action was it was still better than doing what was effectively nothing, and perhaps by stirring the rats nest, she might find something useful. She wasn't quite that desperate however, so for now she had to put up with absolutely irksome task of sorting out paperwork.

Sometimes it was not such a chore - there were times where she even enjoyed such work. Now, however, was not such a time.

"I hate taxes," she thought. It was a thought she wondered how many kids her age could empathize with. Aida may be a capable actress/maid/bodyguard, but she had neither the time nor head for management beyond combat situations. Perhaps she should look into using her powers to invest in a 'child' that could help her sort through all this vile paper work? It was certainly worth looking into . . .

"M'lady, I do hate to interrupt your session, but it appears we have an uninvited guest at our doors." That was Cheshire. The cat was nestling contentedly atop a pile of pillows that she was sure where not on her bed earlier. He probably brought them in sometime without her noticing.

She looked up at the smaller T.V. screens close to the ceilings and saw, that there was indeed someone at their door. She narrowed her eyes at the man. What was he, another solicitor? Or perhaps something more? Whatever the case, she determined that gate-guards would be another thing worth investing on.

"I don't want to be disturbed right now, Cheshire." She was busy. Whatever the man wanted, he could come tomorrow evening.

Nodding in response to her wordless request, the cat grinned and launched out of bed faster than she could blink. Aida took a moment, picked up a pistol from the bed, bowed, and followed after him. It was just like her to be prudent, in the case that this man needed to be removed by force. Speaking of prudent.

"White Knight . . ."

Cheshire arrived first, which was a given. Rather than meet their guest through the front door, the currently invisible cat perched atop the window sill above the man. Clearing his throat, he spoke loudly and clearly, making sure to get the man's attention.

"Alack, alay! I say indeed, what is this? What manner of creature are you? And to come to our doors at this unusual hour - how peculiar! Pray thee ser, dos't thou lost? Say it isn't so! We've no choice but to take you in - and yet, it would be better to turn away! Naught but straw-men and ghosts in this home, hee hee!"

It was his usual infuriating patter of speech. For some reason, whenever he wasn't speaking with Charlotte, he couldn't help but to speak in such a way. Perhaps it was similar to the phenomenon of children changing their way of speaking when not in the presence of their mothers - well, it wasn't as though he minded. He actually liked the way he spoke, after all.

Meanwhile, Aida had more or less arrived, staying behind the still shut door, her gun trained over at a spot on the door right behind which was the Techsters head, her finger steady on the trigger.

@Old Amsterdam
@Old Amsterdam oh yeah that would be appreciated.
Ryuunosuke vs Siegfried
Finale

Ryuunosuke dropped his guard, letting his arms sway lamely to his sides, and tilted his head invitingly, looking practically defenseless as a challenge to the dragon. If he read his personality right, there was no way that the dragon wouldn't understand and react. For Ryuu, this was just a ploy to further his enjoyment - he'd gotten a taste of the dragons troublesome and so-far impenetrable defense, so now he wanted to test out if he had the offense to match it.

Siegfried nonchalantly fixed his hair as the Human concentrated on taunting him, using his hand to push his hair up, styling it in a way that prevented it from distracting him. "I'm far too annoyed to continue this little facade. If you're so fixed in pursuing your own demise, I shall comply to your wishes and take this play a little more seriously." The glow of his red, dragonic eyes seemed specially threatening as his golden aura started to expand, acting as an extension to his body and being covered by ripples that seemed to distort space on itself - a connection to his former prison and current weapon: The treasure hoard of Fafnir. He barely gave the human any time to think before this strange power demonstrated its might: Dozens of weapons were immediately impulsioned from the ripples towards the human, acting as projectiles that, while far from being as fast and deadly as the ones his father was able to shot from his mouth, could still cause a considerable damage while used against enemies that didn't have at least a mid ranked defensive ability due to the sheer quantity of projectiles.

"Thanks for playing along anyway!" thought Ryuunosuke, laughing maniacally as he charged headlong into the fray. His instincts guiding him, he wove through the hail of weapons heading towards him, coming off with a few scratches that would have hindered the movement of a normal human, though thanks to his own regeneration, he managed to keep moving. A few seconds in, he was already aware that as things were there was no coming through this unscathed, so he decided to switch things up.

An incoming spear heading towards him touched air as he twisted to the side and grabbed the weapon, using it to bat aside the rest of the ones incoming even as he made his way towards Sieg. There was no style or grace in his movements, simply a beast like efficiency that held no knowledge of nor respect for what was likely a sacred treasure in his hand.

At first, Ryuunosuke's crazy attempt of evading the weapons barely attracted Siegfried's attention - after all he didn't really need to care about these minor weapons as his father gathered such an absurd amount of these weapons that even If he maintained the bombardment for a few more days there would still be projectiles to spare - but that all changed in the next second, as the human dared to take one of his spears an used it as a club to deflect other weapons, instantly triggering the Dragon's wrath - A human touching his treasures was something unforgivable, even if he didn't care for the treasure.

He immediately leapt towards the daring human, his legs pressing the ground with such overwhelming strength that it instantly formed a small crater as he impulsioned himself towards the boy, his left leg moving towards the human's torso, completely exerting the might of his superhuman strength, carrying such a force that even the strongest barrier of a defense focused middle ranker couldn't possibly hope to stop - the force of a true high ranked Dragon, the species that boosted the strongest natural physical strength.

"FINALLY!" Ryuunosuke's roar resounded loudly as the dragon shot towards him with a sudden burst of speed. It took some time, but it looked like he finally got the lizard angry enough to actually attack him for once. As fun as the previous exchanges were, they were also getting repetitive; this was just what he needed to switch things up.

"Might have bitten off more than I can chew tho-" that was as far as that line of thought got before Sieg was upon him, moving so fast that he barely had time to react. Focusing chakra on his arm, he pushed back against the blow, his gut telling him that if he tried to block that he'd be a stain on the ground, and got sent flying a few dozen meters backwards for his trouble.

"Damn that hurts like a bitch," he thought, skidding through the dirt on landing. He checked the condition of his arm; purple all over and stinging like he'd stuck his hand in a beehive. Still, he managed to redirect most of the blows force away from him. His arm would take a few minutes to heal completely, and in that time he wouldn't be able to use it like he wanted, however, and he was acutely aware that his playmate probably wouldn't give him that time easily.

Neverthless, he grinned. His blood was pumping and his eyes were sharper than ever. It was situations like this that he lived for after all.

Siegfried didn't need to think to continue with his assault, his instincts did all the job, directly making him notice how the human avoided most of the damage of his blow and made him instinctively use his aura to stop his charge, stopping him from wasting time in the air, unable to move, and giving him the foothold needed to once more impulse himself towards the human, his eyes glowing in a dangerous way - a sign of how truly pissed he was - in despite of maintaining some rationality. His right hand immediately moved while forming a claw, seemingly intending to grip the human's head and slam it into the ground.

"Oh man you're angry now are-" he was cut-off as Siegfried once again jettisoned towards him, looking well and truly enraged. Once more, Ryuu took the seemingly reckless route and rather than move to avoid the claw aiming to squeeze his face like an orange, he stepped in quickly, shoulder first, ramming it into the dragon's gut.

The Dragon, in turn, didn't even try to completely avoid the blow, merely adjusting his position while directly using his golden aura - now fully manifested - to weaken the blow to the point where it was negligible and give him the opportunity to attack, directly impulsioning his knee towards the human that was now trapped inside his ideal attack range, with too little space between then to once more completely dodge his blows.

"Ah fuck," was his single thought as a knee connected solidly with his chest. Without much time to dodge the blow, he settled with mitigating the force by catching the leg as it hit. He still felt a few ribs cracking from the impact, but it could have been a lot worse.

"Eh? You're still alive after that..?" Siegfried sighed in a clear display of annoyance, indifferently stretching as if to purposefully give time to the human to recover his composure. "A human body is so inconvenient. Guess I'll have to take this play a little more seriously." The nonchalance in the dragon's voice almost passed the impression of indifference as he talked, something that could easily be dismissed due to how a stream of smoke was coming out of his nostrils - a sight that could hardly be considered as normal, considering how he was currently humanoid - as flames started to emerge from his skin. He was clearly once more about to leap towards the human in an even more violent way - going to the point of preparing his legs to impulse himself - before he suddenly stopped, as if magically bound by something, and his face contorted as it clearly demonstrated rage.

"HOW DARE YOU!?" He screamed in such a sudden way that it almost looked as if he had gone insane, his golden aura quickly spreading through the area to collect most of the weapons he used as projectiles in an instant - a desperate attempt of recovering most of his treasures before the magic casted by Tsumiki got a hold of him. "GRIMMOND, I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!" He managed to once more yell before the glow around his body got stronger, eclipsing his body for an instant before it vanished together with it - obviously dragged away by a spell

Silence was all that was heard, as Ryuu, previously ready for the fight of a lifetime, stared at the empty space in front of him. It took him a few moments before he realized what had happened, and then . . .

"Pft . . . AHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Throwing his head back, Ryuu laughed so hard his (broken) ribs hurt, any disappointment he felt at the fight ending so abruptly drowned out by the utter hilarity of the situation. "O-oh God, I should've brought a camera! T-the look on his face- BWAHAHAHAHA!"

After a few more rounds of laughter, Ryuu finally calmed down. With his opponent gone and with nothing else to do, Ryuunosuke decided it would be best to head out. As he began walking however, his eye caught something glinting in the sun, and he paused in his tracks. From a distance, he could clearly see what it was, and his grin widened.

It appeared the dragon hadn't succeeded in collecting all of his treasures. Here and there were a few weapons littered across the ground, at the very edge of where their fight had taken place.

"Don't mind if I do~" he muttered, walking towards them, a devilish smirk on his face.
I'm still here, just going through stuff right now. I'll get a post up by Wednesday at the very latest.
@NobodiesHero

I've taken time to read through the IC and being honest I'm not seeing what your seeing - so far, there have only been two interactions that have anything sexual featured in them: Fia and Edge, and anything involving Alph; the latter is well within their characters, while the former was more comedic than sexual.

Lance and Fairi was hardly sexual at all, while Lawan and the twins is diabetically cute.

It's also a bit early to take issue with it, seeing as this RP is barely into day 1
Interested.
