Well, the IC will start when I get enough completed CSes. But, since it has been nearly a week and nothing... I am not sure this rp will have an IC.

Okay, this time one last edit to my character's power in my CS.

Halo: Left Behind

New Canaan is a doomed cause and has been left to rot. The local UNSC forces tried their best to fight off the Covenant in both space and land. Holding the line while civilians were evacuated while they desperately fought on. But the UNSC forces would be overwhelmed and forced to retreat from the doomed world with their surviving forces in tow.

However, to the dismay of the few survivors of New Canaan, the UNSC left them behind and abandoned the planet. Either by mistake, they were overlooked, or they were deemed too much of a risk to rescue. Now, as these abandoned forces figure out how to survive, they know that they would likely die on this rock, either to the Covenant soldiers or during the glassing. Yet there is hope, for it seems that not all of the UNSC abandoned New Canaan. For it was discovered that there was still an evacuation ship waiting in the system for two ONI operatives that are still on New Canaan. While it is unknown why ONI operatives are on New Canaan and why they are still here after the fall of the planet to the Covenant. It did not matter to these survivors, and now the group is trying to find these ONI operatives and use them to get off world before the Covenant can glass the planet. But, for the time being, and for unknown reasons. The Covenant has held off glassing the planet, and now the time is ticking to find these ONI operatives and get them to help with getting off-world before the Covenant can finish off what is left of New Canaan.

If they can accomplish this in time, however.

Overview

Hello and welcome to the rp. Set during the Human-Covenant war in 2551 and on the world of New Canaan. You will be playing as stranded military personnel that, for some reason, they have been left behind when the planet fell to the Covenant. Now desperate to survive, they have found each other with the hope that they can still get off the world before the planet is glassed and join the dead. They are heading to the last known location of one of the Oni operatives.

Now you have the choice of playing as either an army, marine, or odst soldier. Spartans are not allowed to be played and will not be encountered in the rp. So keep that in mind, and you will just be playing as normal humans, not supersoldiers. But feel free to make your character how you want as long as it makes sense. Though when it comes to ranks, nothing above Lieutenant.

The Great War is over, and humanity, despite the odds, has emerged victorious. Though with the help of Covenant separatists led by Thel 'Vadam, or as he is most known by the Arbiter. Plus, the actions of the Spartan John 117, who went missing after the war conclusion and is listed as MIA.

While this is a time to celebrate the end of a destructive war and to the rebuilding of both sides, it would not be that easy. Despite the peace, problems and war still linger. From the Covenant remnants to the re-emergence of Insurrectionists that has started to appear on several human worlds. So, even after the end of the Great War and the peace that followed. Peace was not truly achieved in the galaxy.

But that would not stop those from ending these lingering threats to humanity. Wasting little time combating these threats, the new Spartan IVs, along with ODSTs and parts of the UNSC military, were mobilized to counter these threats. Now, one task force is heading toward the human colony of Argos V as a Covenant Remnant, the Spears of the Prophets is attacking it, and a task force is heading to the colony to defend it. Starting a chain of events that will lead to a greater threat than the task force can realize.

H I S T O R Y H I S T O R Y ___________________________________________________________________________________ Yulian's life was different from most growing up. The second son of a local mob boss. His life was spent learning how to live in the Russian Mafia. A life that Yulian would sometimes struggle with as he tried to make his father proud. While showing a skill in violence and intimidation. There was always a softer, kinder part of himself that he would hide from his father. A trait he got from his mother before she died of cancer, and he learned to hide it well. It was when he was eighteen that things changed when Yulian discovered his powers, as his father would call it. A power different from the one his father and older brother had. Which made Yulian's father treat him less as a son and more as a weapon. Using his power to kill and intimidate rivals, and Yulian's father would grow ambitious. Using Yulian as a means to advance higher in the Russian Mafia and secure his older brother's role in the mafia. Yulian was not okay with being used and treated like this, but he felt powerless to stop the ambition of his father and because of his father's power inflicted pain on him. His brother did nothing to stop this and let it happen. As his father had made it clear, if he ever disobeyed or betrayed him, then Yulian would regret it immensely and saw examples of his father's wrath. So Yulian spent years as a weapon and lived under his father's thumb. The only thing that helped him through this time was Milda, an orphan who had come into his father's service, albeit by some force. While Yulian was indifferent to her at first. The two would grow to bond with each other over the years and had a good relationship with each other. Mirroring the relationship, he had with his mother before she died. One day, as Yulian was spending time with Milda. His father's plans fell apart as the mafia's higher-ups discovered his plans to assassinate a fellow mod boss and ordered the house to be cleaned, with the mafia sending fighters to deal with his father and his men. Which Yulian and Milda were caught in the middle. In the chaos of the conflict, Yulian's father was killed, and Yulian and Milda took the opportunity to escape and flee the city. Using what funds he had, Yulian took the pair far from Russia. Yulian never knew what happened to his brother. Eventually, taking them to America, where they would move around until settling in Calder City. Where Milda would attend high school and later college in the city. Yulian would take up work as an assistant at a local gym after a stint as a nightclub bouncer. Yulian wishes his new life to be a quiet one, and he can forget his old one. But sometimes, the past has the tendency of not staying dead. A B I L I T I E S A B I L I T I E S __________________________________________________________________________________ Yulian has the ability to create organic constructs from his body. Such as shaping his arms or part of his arms into blades. Creating a shield from his body and other uses. Which can be of varying strength and durability. The construct cannot leave his body and is always attached. He can still feel pain if the construct is hit or damaged. His body can only use a few of these constructs at a time, as if he uses too many constructs at a time, then his body will start to break down, unable to support the constructs. He has to reabsorb the constructs to save his body and rest before he can use a construct. He can reabsorb a construct at any time. P E R S O N A L I T Y P E R S O N A L I T Y __________________________________________________________________________________ Due to his past and upbringing, Yulian is a guarded person who does not like to talk about his past before coming to Calder City. While he does have blood in his hands, he is not one to kill pointlessly since leaving Russia, and does not have the desire to kill again. In an attempt to distance himself from his past as his father's weapon. From the outside, Yulian seems like a reserved and distant person. Which is half true, as he has numbed to a degree from his past life. He never wants to be in a situation like that with his father again. Yulian has grown to resent anyone who seeks to use him for their own selfish goals. As he does not want to be a slave to anyone again. More so if crime and the mafia are involved. He will not follow anyone who thinks of him like a weapon and nothing else. Underneath his baggage lies a person who can be a kind and gentle being. Always there for those he cares about and values the friendships he has. Always a listener who someone can confide in and can be trusted to keep a secret. Which Yulian can be warm to those he trusts and considers friends. But he can be cautious about others, more so if they remind him of someone from his past life. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S __________________________________________________________________________________ Yulian's goal is to live a quiet life than his old one in Russia. Not wanting to be a killer or mobster again. But live in peace and watch over Milda as she attends college, and be there for her if needed. But if the need arises and something happens to her, if his past comes knocking or something else entirely. Then he may have to act and be something he never thought of ever being.
