Either RolePlayerGuild.com is glitching, or everyone is studiously ignoring my PMs.

I think it's your turn.

@everyone
Got more plans for the mission to the mines. A couple plot twists will be revealed there, as well as a major battle between armies. If you've been paying attention to my posts, nothing that happens there will really surprise you, but it'll still be fun.

@ineffable You got this. ;)

@Thinslayer Would it be possible for Laina to do that?
PS: Thank you Rekaigan! :)

I don't see why not. It's a niche role, though, especially in this RP where most of your enemies are living, sentient beings. What I've been trying to tell you is that combat prowess isn't everything. Healers are so much more than body mechanics.
I just realized something else. I keep confusing Laina and Zenovia, and I think it's because their roles are currently too similar. @ineffable, as I'm sure you've realized, Laina isn't very useful in a battle because she is only capable of healing. So your role will be more social and political. Stay by Xen's side and be his voice. Being a non-combatant also means she'll be responsible for the more mundane areas of camp life, like handling logistics and maintenance. It's the most important yet underrated role of all.

@Rekaigan, Zenovia has so much power at her fingertips that she's barely tapping. If you will recall my previous explanation of magic, spirits are useful for interpreting your incantations and making magic out of them, vastly simplifying the process of spellcasting. You could easily match the Warlock in raw power if you put your mind to it. Now, I wouldn't take advantage of that right away, since we need Zenovia to develop that over time, but you could use this battle to "turn on the lightbulb," so to speak.

It's not a healing spell. It's a boon.

Darnit, I got so excited that I forgot to read it properly. "Any wounds they had would remain, but they would not hinder movement." I'll take that to mean that the champions won't bleed out much through their wounds. In order for wounds to not impede movement, that'll mean keeping torn muscles together, which is the purview of a healing spell.

We'll say it's both a boon and a healing spell, because you need both in order for wounds not to impede movement. Zenovia can do first aid, while Laina can provide full recovery.
@Rekaigan
Ooh, I just realized, that healing spell came from Zenovia. Plot twist! @ineffable, you gotta step up your game! ;)

Don't worry, Rekaigan. You weren't forgotten.
@Hawlin
Another fantastic post! Kaite wasn't gonna let any injuries stop her from giving the Warlock a piece of her mind. This is gonna be such an epic duel.

Laina's healing spells will play an important part of freeing Kaite from the accursed armor. The more wounds the armor heals, the harder it is to remove the armor, so the spell Laina just cast a few posts ago will prove quite useful. @ineffable

EDIT: Turns out Zenovia cast that spell. I hadn't realized its import until I'd mused a bit on Kaite's situation.
Whos posting next? @Thinslayer

You are. Whoever hasn't gone yet this round may go. If it helps, let my posts mark the beginning of each round.
Dang, you guys are producing some really good writing today. I can really feel the despair and adrenaline!

Vert can't use her lower legs, would be kinda hard to pick it up. Though truth be told at this point she's just walking around on her knees so maybe she can.

Xen is supporting her on his arm. Perhaps the two of them could work something out.
Can't wait to see the Warlock duel with it. >:)
