β³ Kithood
Growing up, MudKit was the only litter mate to make it during a harsh flood. His mother was devastated, having lost 4 kits but she kept her surviving kit close. Mudkit from a young age, however close his mother tried to keep him,
was the type of kit to wander in search of whispers of Starclan.
On many occasions, to his continual good merit, he'd listen to stories about Starclan for hours and he grew very close to his Elders. His kittenhood wasn't all lost though as he often was enthralled by the waters and not afraid to wrestle.
β³ Apprentice/Teen Moons -
On the night of his apprenticeship, Mudpaw received a divine encounter from a deceased sibling of his. A male who looked just like him but with a broken tail had arrived through the divine nature of ice crackling on a pound. His brother informed him of a doomed flood, telling him to be on alert for his clan's sake.
Mudpaw tried to take this seriously, even telling his dream to the leader but Moons would pass on and training took up his priorities. As Mudpaw grew, he began to wander his home and developed an oddly mature interest in life, making him an upstanding young cat.
His life would take a drastic turn however when the fateful floods swept through. Having trained, he managed to save a few kits and a beloved elder, only to find that his father was swept away. Desperate to save the tom and ignoring the cries of his mother, he swam as far as he could in pursuit of the tom.
During his swim, two female Starclan cats swam alongside him, aiding him along his journey. His deceased sisters had chosen to aid him on his journey, helping him to stay afloat and telling him where to go.
Mudpaw ended up leaving Tideclan territory in search of his father. For five days, he traveled, ending up way further than he'd ever been away from the snells of the clans. Finally, he had found his father, weakened and starving, with a grievous leg injury. Needing some time to recover before returning home, the two tom's worked together to keep eachother fed as they found themselves among the rogues. They were often chased by predators and cheated out of meals but with Mudpaw taking the lead, he managed to keep himself and his father alive.
Finally, his father's wound healed enough to a point where they could make the long journey back home. It would be until the next season that they arrived back at their clan.
From then on, the spirited young cat began to develop a quiet and distant nature as he reflected upon his journey.
β³ Warriorhood/Adulthood -
He was appointed Warrior not long after he returned as he was honored for his steadfast dedication to saving his father. The name Mudtrek, earned for his bravery on his long journey.
As time went on, Mudtrek very easily slipped into warrior life as nothing more than a reliable and steady young cat. Getting to protect and guard alongside his fellow warriors was in his blood, and at every instance he was there.
His most noteworthy accomplishment as a warrior happened one newleaf when a kit went missing. The whole clan was in hysterics, everyone searching left and right. During this, a clanmate would have accused the quiet Mudtrek of treachery as he seemed to be the only calm one among the chaos. Disgusted and disgraced out in the open, Mudtrek would have been forced into a brawl to defend his honor.
His opponent was a large tom who easily put Mudtrek on his back at once, coming close to crushing his windpipe. But using the opportunity, Mudtrek smartly slashed his back legs into his soft underbelly, throwing the large tom off. Instead of continuing the fight, he had managed to smell the kit and fled, being chased down by the tom and a few others as if he had actually done a crime. He fortunately would have led the warrior straight to the kit who was struggling to get out of a sinkhole.
Currect:
Now he waits for his final sibling to show himself. As well, he's waiting to be appointed deputy.
