Spiderman Unlimited?

Than I guess it'll be a competition amongst applicants as to who presents the best Spidersona, huh?

Applicants who want to be the spider person are advised to submit 2 characters; only one character can be approved per player, and I'm aiming at just ONE Spider, so make sure your "back up" is a character you're actually interested in playing.

Please hold all character submissions until the OOC is up and announced in this thread.

Another liberty I'm taking with the setting is allowing a player to take advantage of the element of Counter Earth seemingly not having a Spiderman, so I'd allow one of you to take on that role? Titular character, and all, ought to include him/her/them. The added bonus? Rather than be limited to the Nano-suited Spiderman from the series inspiring this, a hopeful player submitting a character as Spiderman could make a unique iteration/interpretation, either from a different reality or one unique to Counter Earth, only recently coming into their powers.

Spotlight would still need to be shared as equally as possible among players, but it would be pretty cool to have (a) Spider-sona in a Spiderman inspired setting. :P

I'd be happy to have you in the game! However, I don't run multiple PC's per player; 1:1, that's a hard limit with me.

I'm thinking about trying a Spiderman Unlimited rp.

Based on this series, I would want to run a game following the rise and exploits of some super heroes.

Variants of existing marvel characters would be allowed, both as humans and as Beastials.

I would take some liberties with the settings, namely: I would make "Counter Earth" a separate dimension, rather than sharing the same universe with the Earth of Marvel, because imo that's the only way for Counter Earth to make sense if one thinks about it for more than 5 minutes :P

Protect people on the streets? Fight for the High Evolutionary, or join the Resistance and fight him and his forces directly? It's up to you.

As that previous line implies, yeah, I'll allow some degree of pvp and inter-character antagonism, but I'll worry about rules when it looks like people want to play. Just know I'm going to skew things in favor of vigilantes and heroes.

If I get any takers, I'll work up a character sheet and define some rules.
