Because both is less favorable than being gracious memes.@Vocalia
@MonstrousMan I'll go with it, but I personally usually prefer rolling stats. I feel it makes it more interesting, especially when things are less than ideal for me.
Edit: I think I'd like to play a Teifling Paladin with a glaive.
ravioli ravioli, lemme give you the gratzioli

Not sure if sarcasm, or just memes.
Adepts- Individuals with superhuman powers. These powers, called Septima (or Septimal Powers) come from cells called Septisomes, the configuration of which allows the Adept to control the elements, manipulate technology, grants psyonic abilities, or shape reality. However, each Septima only effects one unique area, regardless of how powerful the Adept is who wields it.

The appearance of these Adepts, which has increased in recent years, has caused a rift between these powered individuals, and the general populace. When the strain seemed to be reaching a breaking point, a rising corporation, called the Sumeragi Group, bought the majority of the world's power distribution grids, and presented their solution. Under their guidance, humans and Adepts would live in peace. The speed of the Sumeragi Group's research into Adepts was astounding, and brought many advances to technology.

However, there is a growing unrest in Adept communities around the world. National Leaders begin drafting laws in attempts to control Adepts, and activist groups begin claiming the Sumeragi group is involved in illegal activities, but these claims never seem to last.

Your adventure begins in the near future, when the Sumeragi Group is poised for solid control over major industrial points all around the world. You will play Adepts and humans in the small Asian country which houses Sumeragi's headquarters, and find out what awaits you in this brave new world.

@MonstrousManOkay. So, are we going to be using actual ability scores and such? How are we going to roll them? Also I haven't figured out how the guild's die roller works.
Side note: Are favored class bonuses ever a thing in D&D?
@tobiax

Tabletop has a way of spanning different games, I'm sure you'll catch on. You tell me what your character is doing, I'll sort the rest my friend :)

Thanks. It's more I just wouldn't know how things roll, haha.

The adventure is a basic dungeon lay out with plenty of fun to be had for the players through combat and world interaction. Please make characters not too out there but with your own flavour should you wish.

Dwarf fighter who loves his axe.
An Elven ranger who holds themselves highly as a marksman.
A human cleric who is striving to defeat evil.
Handling rogue with an eye for riches.

Things like the above.

Oddly enough my style tends to be the unconventional, haha... Sorry, I just tend to find the atypical more interesting and inspiring. But don't worry, I won't, like, try to play a satyr or a psychic or something.
@Iatos Well, with him saying the edition didn't matter much, I wasn't sure that it wasn't 5th or whatnot.
@MonstrousMan I'm interested, but am more familiar with Pathfinder than D&D. As long as some slight aclimation measures are made, or like, a pdf for reference is noted, I should be fine. If you'd rather someone more familiar, I understand. Cheers.
Thank, I think?
Bump.
