Wildest thing I learned was that the Mistborn series is loosely tied with the Stormlight Archive in this incredible novel universe Sanderson is making.

I think The Long Night was amazing. The Battle of Helm's Deep for GoT, and it pulled it off wonderfully.

This is a bit late, but 2019 has officially been blessed by Tom Brady. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Bio

Yo! I'm Torack, you can call me Jay!

I've been RPing for a long, long time. I blame it on my overactive imagination, but it's a wonderful medium to put all these creative ideas into some sorta use. My favourite genre is fantasy. Straight up fantasy. It can be high fantasy, low fantasy, dark, modern. I love fantasy, grew up with it. I also like sci-fi, dystopian settings, etc.. Characterization and character driven stories are my favourite type of RPs, I like seeing them grow and change and the way characters react to completely shit and horrible situations. It's always a fun time.

Personally, my hobbies include reading, although recently the only types of reading I've been doing is from text books ffs. I like sports, any type of sport really, except soccer. My legs are way too clumsy for that sport. Music is something I love, R&B mostly, although I'll listen to mostly anything.

I also love pie. Pie is life, especially pecan pie. It's damn near traumatizing knowing that I haven't eaten any in like five years. Sad times.

Woah interested!
Dragon Age: Origins was such an awesome game, it's literally my favourite RPG and the first one I ever played. I haven't really played many other RPGs except for the big titled ones, like the Elder Scrolls and Mass Effect, which I loved.
Woah, this sounds awesome! Consider me interested!
I have never played any of the final fantasy games. I've always kinda been interested, but it seems like there's no consistency. I remember I watched two final fantasy movies and I was so confused, they had nothing to with each other. Granted I only watched part of each.
I have a question for y'all, what's your favourite RPG?
I think it would make a little more sense if they were already acquainted with each other for a while, since it is a mercenary group and all. They might not know too much about each other, but they must have grouped with them once or twice in the past, ya know.

I don't usually mess around a lot in the OOC since I'm a med student, and I just don't really have the time. But when I do, I usually enjoy talking to folks in the OOC and going a little silly.

GMT +3

I'm pretty active considering. I'm usually able to post once or twice per day, but there will be some days where my responsibilities just won't let me get on for that day. They're not often, so no need to worry about that

I love action. Action is awesome, it's like adding spices to food. Too much and you ruin the flavour, too little and it just tastes bland. There should be just the right amount revolving around the plot to make it even better.

Under the right circumstances, I can practically write a novel. But usually I try to go at least four good paragraphs.

Lincoln

Malazan Book of the Fallen series.

Well, she did just loose her husband a few days ago. Hmmm, maybe I should update my CS to reflect this a bit more. The other side of this is her guilt. After all, she was kinda pleased to hear about this plague because she thought she could be the hero and further the COL's cause through it. Instead she lost her childhood sweetheart. I can imagine she would be experiencing a mixture of guilt, anger, and depression.

Am I being too dark and serious with this?

Also, I agree. A man like "The Master" is someone with a strong reputation who is probably known to some extent by most. Even if its just his name and people know him to be THE KingPin or Mafia Head (metaphorically speaking)

Nah not too dark. Roven is somewhat similar in the sense that when he saw his get eaten alive in front of him, he lost almost all sense of emotions save for glowering at people (except for when it comes to his daughter). Not to mention the scene is still fresh in his mind so he'll probably have a hard time trying to keep himself from going complete apeshit crazy whenever he sees a plague victim. I've also got some pretty dark things planned for him, dude's gonna spiral down a dangerous slope! I'll have so much fun writing it!
Well Roven did travel a lot, like he went to at least most of the cities, and must have heard of Orwen? I'm guessing they met while he was still able to talk and had that regal attitude still in him and all that. The change could be a little funny to see, eh?
We can take that extra week to think of additional subplots, relationships between characters, maybe even a shared history? Given that for example we have a Church of Light lady who went to the North to spread the faith.. it is unlikely but not impossible that Gawain and her have met at one point. Right? :P

I was thinking that. Who could my character know besides Chester and Lady Buxton? Perhaps he came across Orwen once before? Makes sense since he was a traveller for a long time, innit
