I've got nothing. After spending several hours of constantly re-writing and restructuring and streamlining and improving my CS I ended up hating the ever living shit out of it and now it's gone.

Plus, I wouldn't define either End or Voice as cute. End looks cute but she's a heartless psychopath, whereas Voice is scary looking and fucking crazy. I don't think that trope would have applied to either of them to begin with.

also it is really good that the Personal Reality Field is a thing because her powers are terrifying, while it is not quite the Manton effect its still going to allow people to resist being exploded from the inside out.

The "it sucks that they did this to me" (if that persists to this day) vs "look what I can do to myself" dynamic is also going to be interesting.

It does persist to this day. She would live without the implants, if she could, even if that meant being mentally disabled again. She'd rather be retarded than constantly having to fight off insanity. Plus, the fact that she had no choice fuels some resentment.

I can't tell if they'd like eachother or hate eachother. I usually have a good feel for how my characters will respond, but...

They both rely on biotech to live, but one sees it as a gift and the other sees it as a curse. They're both academics, but one was purely curious and the other wanted to create monsters. They're both mages, but one works with the basics of life and the other with the basics of the universe. Yin-yang
