Snakes? Simple, that was something Demetri could work with. But as soon as the cogs began to turn in his mind she threatened him if he ever used the information against her. If he had been human he would've thrown his hands up in defeat. Instead he just puffed smoke out his nostrils as she transformed into a Dragon and shot ice at the ones above. "Yeah i was avoiding drawing their eye or ire. But I suppose nows as good a time as any." Demetri dropped onto the deck of the ship his arms snapping back as his wings fused into his arms and his size began to grow enormously. His likeness was now that of Smaug as he beated his wings once, sending waves of air pushing down until he launched himself into the air to fly.

As soon as he broke out of Rebecca's barrier he breathed fire directly onto the neck of the dragon that had attacked the ship. It didnt seem to do much so he flew above the large beast and went to bite its neck. The dragon spun and tried to hit him with its tail but Demetri quickly craned his neck back and avoided the lash. He let out a thunderous roar towards the creature. "I'll handle this one if you want to handle the other." Demetri flew up and began to encircle the Dragon before him, stopping between his foe and the ships barrier. He beat his wings to send blasts of air towards the creature in hopes that it would fight back any flames that may be launched towards him. He changed his voice to boom and sound like Smaug as he proclaimed "I am fire! I am death!"

Max watched Waverlys eyes widen for a brief moment, no doubt a flash of emotion from seeing him again after they've tried to avoid each other so many times. There was a sharp surprised gasp as Waverly asked him if he truly thought he could find Sunshine. He hadnt expected her to speak to him, let alone agree to work with him. His voice was weak from the prior days vomitting and the illness that had been plaguing him for what felt like years now. "I can try my best. M-pox isn't helping but I'll do what I can." He looked towards James' door, glad that he wasnt out there to hear him...hopefully. James was one of the few underground members to have seen the lengths Max would go through to help others, he watched how he exhausted himself in HoM and still pushed himself to help find others like Casper and Jack. "If i could find the X-men, Doctor Strange, and Jack and Casper while they were in Louisiana, I should hope I can find her."

Max gave Waverly a weak smile and thumbs up in a vote of confidence. His stomach growled again but this time louder for all to hear. He look past the group and towards where food was held. Asking them for a moment, he stepped away from them and made his way over towards the table. Grabbing two plates he set one up with two Waffles, a small side of syrup, sliced bananas on top, and an Omlette on the side. The other was essentially the same but the bananas were replaced with blueberries and strawberries, each playe with their own fork and knife. Max made his way back towards Veil and the others, handing Waverly a plate of food. "I know I'm no good when I'm weak with hunger, especially when a disease is tearing me up from the inside. Don't go into this hungry, we don't know what we may face ahead. We'll need all the strength we can get."

Max took a couple bites from his food and then sat down on the ground in the same meditative stance he took in HoM. Searching for Sunshine as he attempted to ignore the bite of hunger and pain of disease. He spoke aloud as he continued to concentrate "Shes still in the DC area, so Jack hasn't gotten his hands on a Jumper or Teleporter. I...I see filing Cabinets and I can smell...stale pastrys." His nose twitched as he smelled the air and the connection broke, leaving him back into the Underground. "Sorry, Thats all I was able to get before-" Max began to have a coughing fit bringing about a light headedness and headache. "Casper! You know anywhere Jack may be with filing Cabinets and stale pastries?" If anyone should know its his brother.

The quadruplets were all upstairs helping to serve those thst needed it and handing out mugs of coffee to those that requested it. Barry gave Andy an inquisitive look before handing her a mug of coffee. "Sorry only got the one size here. Milk and Sugars in the center of the table if you need it." Harry ended up lifting his hands off of Waverly and began to watch the scene play out before him. He gave his sister a nod before heading up to the rest who were now dining by the table. She appeared to have this matter handled so he would see to another. Once he entered the room the other duplicates looked towards him. All five then spoke in unison. "Just a heads-up. It isn't always like this here, both the missing person as well as the food. We thought we'd help lift some spirits after yesterday with a gorgeous breakfast." Harry made his own plate of food and sat down at the table with the others.

He looked across towarss Kristina as he daintily cut his waffles without looking. His fork and knife making nary a clatter on the plate. "It goes without saying but you're welcome for the food, you're all welcome. Its the least I can do really. I hope you each found your first night here restful? I know how it can be sleeping in a strange bed and new room. How alienating it may feel. But in time, if you so choose to stay, it can become home and these people your family. There will be ups and downs but...its good work." There was a pang of self-hate in him as he spoke, knowing all the years he neglected to do anything because he didn't believe the fight had anything to do with him. He felt ignorant for thinking otherwise and now knew that this is what Xavier meant, this affects all of us.

Were all wizards so vague and cryptic? Perhaps that was one of the traits needed to become a person of magic. It would explain why in fantasy novels they paired magical domains with riddles of old to test ones wit. Double speak and hidden thoughts mustve been a foundation to learning such arts. Or Merlin was full of himself. Who knows. But Matthew followed on, his gaze turning towards Megan as Merlins did and wondering what any of this had to do with her. What ever it was it better of been worth risking time for saving someone's parents. His attention spun back towards Colby, rolling his eyes as he said he wasnt a knight. "Well...you are to me" He was about to lean in to kiss his cheek when he hit air. Matthew opened his eyes and saw the grin on Colbys face as he did exactly as he was told not to. It didn't surprise him, but perhaps caution was more needed in a realm of magic.

Matthew immediately placed his hand onto the butt of his hilt in preparation for what was to come. A skeleton came to life and attacked Colby but his knight bravely and quickly dispatched of it. His shoulders relaxed until two more spawned and Matthew went running towards the one closest to Colby and swung his sword, ending the skeletons unlife in a fell swoop. As he watched the bones clatter and sprawl onto the ground, he felt an urge to journal what he'd seen. After all there was only one left and so many of them, why shouldn't he take this time for himself? Matthew sheathed his sword and pulled out his pencil as he quicklt began to sketch the Towers exterior, interior, and the scene in the Catacombs of Colby fighting a skeleton. All the while he muttered out "Colby. A box is all fine till you're in one in time. Maybe pick and choose youre battles in a magical realm?"

Asohko cough roughly when Bonnie said that Rogers wasn't Jesus but Captain America. She had a point there, Roger's was a real factual person who rallied behind the beliefs of many and solidified American ideals into a singular person. Jesus was a fictional story told to children so that they would behave. He wouldn't say this out loud however as everyone had their rights to their own beliefs and systems. Kwassi stood there and wondered if she truly grasped what it was that she was asking of people? If she understood the dangers of registering their identities even if it was just to S.H.I.E.L.D. Had anyone known his identity when he was a Vigilante then perhaps the crooks who left prison would target his family, friends, or even loved ones. There was an inherent danger to the notion and a registry wasn't too far from internement as Agent Sullivan pointed out.

When Agent Reed took his arm and helped him up towards the Quinjet all he could muster out was a thank you. Sitting down in a chair as he lifted his shirt up and off of him to expose the wound for medical attention. He coughed out "I don't think Agent Chase would have approved of my Vigilante days. She's seems very intent on following orders without thought." Moments later Bonnie appeared in the Quinjet to help aid him. As she was cleaning up the wound and patching him up he asked "I understand how it is that you feel. But S.H.I.E.L.D. isn't infallible. We've had many cases of renegade agents that were secret Hydra employs and now we have a Skrull infestation. What's to stop either of them from stealing the registry and leaking it to a villains sector. Suddenly Spider-Mans family is under seige, or any other hero to be honest. Not everyone can afford the security that IronMan has. Not all heroes have starktech keeping them and their families safe."

Max sat in the bed staring blankly at a mirror as he felt the fog in his mind lift up. Dizziness filling it wake as the room began to spin causing him to turn and face the bucket by his bed. He went to go vomit but all that happened was dry heaving as his stomach curled up into him and nothing came out. The force of the act brought out his veins again to be on display as Max shuffled backwards against the wall and began to cower for a moment. Was this what life would be like now? He made his way towards the door and cracked it open, listening in to what was going on outside. Jack had taken Sunshine and there were only a handful of people Max new he could ask. Sunshine, Jack, or his father.

Sunshine would no doubt yell at him for using his magic on her and then continue on about how he should be dead instead of Magik. Jack wouldn't tell him, why would he? After how he was acting back at the old MU after Max saved his ass, or given the fact that he just kidnapped someone? The last person was his father, they didn't seem to get along but maybe he knew some places close to Jacks heart. Places he'd frequent or take someone if kidnapped. Surely he could try Doctor Strange but the man was probably busy saving the world from extradimensional beings or chaos witches or something. Who knows. Finally Maxs stomach growled in protest as he heard about the food and he slowly stepped out of his room weakly saying "I may be able to help in finding her..."

Echo could feel his body shake alongside hers as she took in deep breaths. Her fear, her emotion, prevalent and worn on her sleeve. His arms were pinned to his sides but he managed to T-rex his hands around her back and give her a few light pats as he just whispered to here "There, There." He wanted to say it was alright, thar everything was going to be fine but...the news she broke was anything but. Echo wasn't sure how to handle it or why someone from the Underground would do such a thing to another member. Had it been to Max he'd understand seeing as how there appeared to be tension there but this...this made no sense. Echos attention was pulled for a moment as he saw Casper out in nothing but a bedsheets and his eyes immediately darted upwards incase there was little to the imagination left below. Granted the view up top wasn't any less appetizing.

Like a saviour Terry began to make his way back to alert Harry that breakfast was finished when he spotted the display before him and a lot child to boot. The newbies didn't need to see any of this and perhaps 3veryone would feel better with food before them as they discussed what was to come next. Terry cleared his throat before speaking to gather their attention. "Breakfast is served in the dining room for everyone. Perhaps the conversation can continue there with some hot food and full stomachs?" "I think thats a great idea. C'mon waves, lets get you settled down with some warm waffles, Canadian syrup, and a smorgasbord of berrie options including bananas. Oh and French pressed coffee to help stimulate the mind and kick out any nasty grogyness left behind by the drug ok?" Terry nodded, cupping his hands together as he yelled out "ALRIGHT BREAKFASTS READY FRESH AND WARM IN THE DINING ROOM"

Kwassi looked towards the Flynnposter and rolled his eyes as he scrame about how he wasnt going to tell them anything. "Can someone muzzle the damn asshole? I'm tired of hearing his voice. Oh and whoever you are, we have ways of making you soeak even if you aren't the one singing the tune." Most of the team seemed dissmisive over the fact that Agent 13 could be a skrull as well. Their reasoning wasn't sound and honestly it was rather annoying. Just because she helped fight them didn't mean she was free from scrutiny. Hell by that merit Flynn had helped S.H.I.E.L.D before and yet here he lay paralyzed and awaiting a spill session. But Kwassi threw his hands up in defeat as he began to make his way towards Agent 13s bathroom.

"I will leave it to you commanding officers to determine if you believe a singular instance of alliance warrants being looked over for being a skrull. We shouldn't rule out that Captain America is one however, there is a chance any if not many of our great heroes may have been replaced." Once he made his way in he began to search for any first aid supplies, his vision getting hazy as he became more and more fatigued from his wounds. Unable to find anything, Kwassi made his way towards the apartment entrance as he slurred out "Any chance we could look at this..." removing his hand from the wound as blood coated it fully. His left shoulder went diving into the wooden frame, now using it as support as his legs began to weaken.

Matthews eyes followed Merlin as he dashed across the room to view the book Rose was holding. It appeared her family was in trouble and they were running out of time. What did they need from Camelot that was so important? Or did they need to travel through in order to reach other lands outside of Morgan Le Feys gaze. Maddie walked about the room, giving Carroll chin scratches as he looked about ans watched the others interactions. Nothing had stood out at him in particular but it appeared that something caught Colbys attention. A small bracelet that jumped to life and became a sheild. "Woah. Y-youre really turning into a kn-kn-knight in shining armor huh?" That spout of magic made him want to test out the book all the more, stepping outside for a breath of fresh air and room to try.

Matthew opened the book, flipping from the middle of the book towards the first page. There may not be logic to this book but it stood to reason that it began at a simpler spell and made its way towards more challenging ones. He studied the pages and watched the motions of the somatic components. Seeing the diagrams and illustrations that flowed from one side of the page to the other. He tried to mimic the motion starting with both hands at his sides, slowing bringing them together but never touching as they pulled back towards his right and then jutted forward harshly. Small flames sprouted from the palms of his hands as the scent of smoke filled the air. "Ok. Once more." He looked at the page once again, noting that his footwork was off and tried once again. This time a brilliant fireball launched forward into the air and on the dirt snuffing out.

A large dopey grin spread across his face as he realized that he did magic, like actual magic. He gripped the book tightly and said it back into his bag as he ran inside. Matthew halted himself by slamming into Colby and squeezing him tightly in excitement whispering so only Colby could hear. "I just did magic. Actual magic." He let go and did a giddy dance in place until he realized others were in the room. "Sorry for the d-delay. Is there something we n-need from Camelot?"

Demetri took a half bow while sitting towards Leda. "Thank you Thank you. I'll be here all week." He sat and watched the gears turn in Marys head, wondering what she'd pick next. In truth he expected for her to say Truth. Believing that in some cases it was the safer route and thus more along her line of thought. When she did pick it a smirk appeared on his face. He knew just what to ask her. Suddenly the sirens began to blare as it warned them of an impending attack. "Well, before we head off, Mary what animal are you most afraid of?" Figured jt was only appropriate given her response to the horrors of geese earlier. He waited a moment incase she answered as he made his way out of the room to search the skies.

It appeared Kiera had made herself topside so he followed suit seeing the flash of bright lights in the sky as dragons danced and roared a brilliant flame. "Woooah." He gave the child of poseidon a childish smile as if he had a bad idea. Demetri transformed into a deep purple dragon, not large like the ones above but a miniature size like what a baby may look like. He practiced his fiery roar to see if he could do the same as flames poured out with his breath. Demi-dragon huffed small flames from his nostrils as the flared and he prepared for a potential battle.

Matthew slowly made his way around the interior of Merlins tower. Looking at the skull, cobwebs, and books that littered the place. He wasnt quite sure what kind of supplies one might find in Merlins Tower but he was sure that whatever they were they mustve been amazing. Potions, scrolls, wands, and staves. Brooms, bags, and other enchanted things. It was a wonder to be sure and every bit of wonder brought a gleam into Matthews eye. He spotted Colby from across the room, giving him a loving stair as he recalled how the two had befriended over magic. The loving tone cut through by the sound of anger rolling off of Rose's words. Whatever she had found, it didn't sound particularly good. That same book had told Colby, and by extension Matthew, where their parents were. "Better keep our hands to ourself there. Don't want to lose any bits for theiving there."

His eyes avoided Rose, wondering if her parents locations were also there. Perhaps it wasn't as favorable of a location? A dungeon perhaps? If her parents were in danger then they needed to rescue them. Maddie ran his fingers against the spines of books on the shelves, looking for anything that may help them in the future. If Matthew and Colby could master illusions and magic back in Kansas then maybe they could learn some here as well. His first pass upon the lower shelves brought him nothing. But as he ran his finger against the middle shelf he found one that appeared to be promising. Matthew got on his toes and pulled the book off the shelf, looking at the cover the book was worn beyond recognition. The title had faded from the many passing of years and use. Perhaps a tome of magic that Merlin frequented? Matthew slipped the book into his satchel for later reading.
