Without so much as a word, Kwassi began to make his way up the fire escape as silently and nimbly as he could. This part of the mission was always nice. Reminding him of his glory days when he would trapeze from rooftop to rooftop and use his various skills to maneuver in the night with the swiftness and stealth of a gliding bird. The pain still lingered from the earlier fight, meds helping stave it off too much. Once he finally made it up, Kwassi all but pressed his ear against the glass, listening in to the conversation. There was little conversation, then silence, and then a slight thud. Was Cap arming himself? Getting ready for a fight? The drawn curtains didn't help and so Kwassi gripped his fingers along the window and tried to pull up quietly but it wouldn't budge.

"Damn! Ofcourse he'd lock the window, not like he was planning to open it quietly and exit out if he needed to escape. Ok new plan." His mind was riddled with thoughts and Xhosa expletives as he waved down Agent Moss. Giving him some form of hand signals to let him know conversation has halted and warnings have been given. Be alert. He wasnt sure what more to do, wait here incase he tries to escape? Reverse Cap and bust into a window? Or simply shoot blindly through the glass? The latter was the least tempting option. Kwassi pressed his shoulder against the brick exterior, legs crouched as he hid from windows view on the left side of its pane, gun held and at the ready to shoot if anyone but S.H.I.E.L.D. makes it out of that window.

Salem returned her smile, giving his attention to Max as Lilie posed her question. It was an honest thought, did Max have any ambitions? And did they lay in the fields of art? Salem didn't think so but who knows? Stranger things have happened. There was a slight ease as Aaron returned into the room, knowing he was the one handing out all the drinks and food made Salem a bit less suspicious that he may be poisoned tonight. If anything he didn't believe Aaron had th gal to do it. He sat back as Aaron instructed but not enough to seem lax. Following the conversation with his eyes and simply listening in more so than anything, full glad to watch others interact and offer up themselves rather than have himself speak and place the spotlight on him. "That really was a bold performance Maddie, bringing fire into the house of a Noble without the means to control it. And to use it in such a wonderful display." Salem had leaned forward, resting his elbow against his knee to prop up his head when suddenly Max asked a question Salem hadn't expected to hear.

His smile fell flat and he immediately sat back once more, eyes gliding over towards the main room full of Vampire Nobles and Eris. Salems gaze moved back to Lilie and Max, wondering how best to answer this question. As calmly and matter of fact as anyone could be he finally spoke up. "We aren't meant to do anything really. This is a vampire hosted party and we are not guests, they are. We are to be seen but not heard. So long as we stay in sight and do nothing to disrupt their fun then we can do as we please. Other than that we would typically help attend them, the way Aaron is doing so tonight. His mind being halfway here and halfway there, thinking of what to do next, when, and how. Now, had a mage thrown this party things would be done differently. We'd be free to do more of what we please or at the very least adhere to our host." He hated to say it but this wasnt meant to be a night of fun for them.

The events of last night left a sour taste in Demetri's mouth. Andy and Arthur seemed almost inconsolable, though he hadnt had any younger siblings prior to this so his knowledge on comforting children who've lost not one but three friends was a bit sparse. He made his way to his room, taking a nap to help clear his head of what all had happened. His dreams started out well. He was a dragon, soaring the skies feeling the wind on his back and a fire in his belly. That is until the air began to change. The skie darkened and the air grew thick, almost viscous as his wings struggled to hold height. The pressure and fear forced him out of flight and into his normal body, blue eyes glaring at the world like lightning in a bottle. Demetri began to fall, plummeting down until finally he hit warm ground. Heat radiated from thr distance, calling to him, as he slolwy looked up and watched as monsters dug their claws into the earth in search for something. Demetri looked around for an escape when suddenly he noticed the shrine to Apollo, glowing, and before he knew it he was rushed forward and out of his dreams, cold sweat covering his forehead as he sat up in bed.

He was panting, raising one hand to push back his hair while the other kept him grounded in the bed. His eyes shone blue but he didn't care or even noticed. Heart racing, Demetri made his way out of his room and began to pace, wondering if he should check on Andy and Arthur. Wondering if this would just add to their trauma. And wondering if he should contact Zeke once more. What had Apollo been trying to say or do? Why was there a shrine of his in The Pit? Thats when he remembered little miss prayer bug. He began to search the ship for Leda, wondering how long he'd been out and where she may of been. Perhaps she could shed some light on his dream, and perhaps she would know of shrines for gods in the darks below. When he finally found her on the Upper Decks he paused for a moment seeing Kiera. "Hey Leda...mind if we have a chat real quick?:

So many things were happening at once, too many stimuli to take in. Matthew closed his eyes for a moment as he tried to compartmentalize the events transpiring before him. His eyes were hot with rage yet they threatened to pour over in scolding tears as he hated confrontation and people yelling. When he finally opened his eyes he looked back at Cassiopea. "Its not like he knew it would summon the undead! Honestly this probably would've been avoided if Merlin wasn't always so cryptic! Its never a straight answer with him and the vague unknown is a dangerous place to leave a bunch of kids who don't know anything about the land they just entered! Sure he didn't head the warning ut why should he? He was never given a real reason not to! No sense of urgency or threat just a vague description that the dead don't like to be disturbed. Well you know who else doesn't like to be disturbed? Me!"

Matthew stormed off towards the lakes edge, meeting up with a soaking Colby who was exiting the banks and ringing his clothes. "You look a mess, here let me help you out." Matthew had his back turned to all the others, gripping some of the fabrics and helping him rid the clothing of water. His eyes were downcast until he finally worked up thr courage to look at his friend. Matthews eyes were Watery, threatening to expose his emotions to the others. He sniffled his nose as he reached up to wipe away the tears. "I'm sure we can find some clothes over in Camelot, try and see if we can't get you dry before you catch a cold." Colby and Rose were right, what had happened happened and the rest needed to let it go if they were ever to move forward.

Kwassi continued to watch the windows for any sign of movement, anything that could help narrows down the apartment. As his eyes began to trail right, he noticed something in his periferal. Captain America's sheild glinted for a moment before a pair of curtains were drawn. Eyes now trained on the window he carefully made his way tk Agent Moss, sidestepping, until he reached him. "There, second story with the blinds that are still settling from being moved. I saw his sheild. He's there." Kwassi whispered to Moss. His gun was tightly gripped in his hand as he awaited further instructions. If he called it in there was a chance of exposing his team or that there were external forces besides the welcome wagon. No, he had to trust that the two could find it on their own.

Moments later Agent Reed radiod them to alert them of which apartment he was staying at. The floor was helpful and it confirmed his earlier sight. There was a hint of a smile on him as he was right, still trained onto the window of that apartment and the ones to its left and right incase it stretched further out. "Do you mind covering middle and left window and I'll cover middle and right. That way regardless of which window they may leave from we have the upper hand and one of us will be able to hit him." He didn't like being left in the dark, unable to hear the negotiations for himself, but itbwas what had been ordered.

A lot had seemed to happen in the short moments that he was in thr sky. One second Rebecca was there with them and thr next she had been spirited away through some portal to the Sea of Monsters in the Bermuda Triangle by the daughter of her mother...so her sister? That couldn't be all bad, surely she was safe and learning magic that she could only dream of. He thought back towards what he knew of Circe and how she acted and decided that Rebecca would not become a threat but instead a powerful ally. "There's no need for talk like that, especially in front of the kids. Circe isn't inherently evil, she makes advances on men sure but that doesn't make her evil. I'm sure Rebecca will get along with her half sister, learn some kick ass new spells, and rejoin us as a major ally and friend. No doubt about it. And if we think she needs to be pulled out, let me go in after her. Worst case I'm turned into an animal and can shape back. Best case daddy dearest will have my back."

Demetri didn't want to dwell on the idea of fighting his friend, this wasnt where he wished to hyper fixate. No instead he decided to move onto the next plan, where they were going and what they were doing. "Ok then, so next up is some junkyard? Cant be too bad. I'm sure speedy here can help out a ton and I can grab a birds eye view for whatever we're looking for. Maybe even find a fun toy to play with while we're at it. Hopefully we won't need any for the rest of the trip but its better to not need and have than to need and not have." Demetri wasn't sure he enjoyed this, this nagging thought in the back of his head. Everyone he grew close to was disappearing. Rebecca. Des, what if Zeke was next? Or Andy? He needed something to go right and soon.

Max watched the expanse of ocean that fell before him. The taste of salt present on his lips as he wondered where they were and what to do. He was tired, more so than usual, the new powers seemingly draining a lot out of him with every use. The M-Pox wasn't helping ofcourse. He couldn't feel the blood that had trickled out of his ears as the water washed it all away leaving small tinges of red in the sea of blue. The fog started to roll back into his mind as he tried his hardest to fight against it, words unable to form or fight Sunshine as the whole of his being fought to focus on one thing, survival. "Jack...Jack...Jack gave Waves drugs and took you bye bye. Took you...Took...Kidnapped." This was not the time for the damned disease to be kicking into to full effect, but he would need to make do and be strong enough for the both of them. It was then he saw the island in the distance. Its towers and pillars showing signs of life and what could hopefully amount to safety for the pair. Max muttered a few words as the levitation failed and they plummeted down into the water, each staying barely above as pool noodles were created in their grasps. "No no no no! Where's boat?!" He splashed the water before him in a small fit of rage as his powers failed to work for him.

Max looked over towards Sunshine, wondering how this would all play out but glad she hadn't used her powers against him yet. The weight of all the clothes was getting to him, forcing him to removed his top layer and stay only in his outfit that he had conjured before. "Im gonna...I'm gonna try to get us to the island, just hold my hand tight." All he could do was wish that the powers that be allow this to work. He held her hand tight, looked at the island one last time, and then closed his eyes. He pictured the sandy beaches of its shores, the towering structures above them, and the safety of land. Another large blast appeared as the pair teleported to the island. The bamfing sound of air being displaced as the pair of them got hit with a wave of immense cold from the water and his powers colliding. When he opened his eyes they were there, on the beach, and away from the mouths of deep sea predators. His fatigue had hit harder than ever, laying down with his back to the sand as the sun hit his face and slowly warmed him up. "I...can't...I can't do anymore."

"He's getting old and yet you're the one losing brain cells." Echo hated that they were going in blind. No plan what so ever. What did Havok think would happen when he kidnapped the daughter of a man who has made a career of revenge? Not only was he stupid enough to do so, he was dumb enough to drug her, and still not think of what to do when Daddy dearest inevitably came knocking at their door. Every Summers was the same, dull, dimwitted boys who think only of themselves and where they can stick it. Before he could say another word the building began to shake and debris started landing from the ceilings. If Magneto didn't kill them this earthquake surely would. A large chunk had fallen, knocking Echo upside the head as he glared daggers towards Havok, clearly blaming him for this misfortune. His head was pounding, heart was racing, and his damned breakfast had been ruined by not one, but two assholes this morning. Echo made his way outside, watching as the new kid pummeled into Avalanche in order to help those below stay safe. This wasn't her fight, but he was damn happy to have the help. Echo let the vibrations of Avalanche's seismic attacks flow through him and unleashed a laser powerful enough to knock Toad out in one go. Nothing personal, but he always grossed him out.

With that minor irritation out of the way, Echo turned his attention to his old flame. " We really ought to stop meeting like this. There has to be a better way for lgbtq+ mutants to get to know each other without the need of disputes. Besides this cant be healthy for our relationship" He shot the pyromaniac a wink before launching a laser from his hand and missing him. He didn't want this fight, in all honesty he just wanted everyone to leave and allow for one peaceful day. But it appeared that day wasn't today. Echo shot off another laser at Pyro, leaving a nice gash in his upper arm. "Something to remember me by darling. Now, Magneto. We have your daughter and she is safe. You clearly have a firm grasp as to how you wish to help the mutant race and we have ours. Please, take your fallen comrades, your ill, and leave here. I will assure you that she will be well looked after and safe while you grab the cure for mutants. I don't wish any more mutant blood to be spilt and im sure neither do you."

Whether what he had done was a smart move or not was yet to be seen. But he had done it regardless, and if questioned about it he would simply feign ignorance and state that he found those flowers to reflect Eris's beauty the most. That was now one obstacle hurdled and a rest of night for torture to resume. "Its been too long too honest Lilie. Since we were all together that is. I wanted to thank you by thr way, your song really helped me get into the appropriate mindspace to perform tonight. I didn't think I had it in me." Salem sat back into his chair letting the waves of unease wash over him as he hoped for a pleasent distraction in conversation.

When Maddie spoke up he was a bit surprised. She seemed kind, something that couldn't be said for half the mages here. So he ofcourse offered her a warm smile in return. "Salem Spellman. I believe I saw you at the exam for a moment. Between the revel, that exam, and this, I'm sure it must be a hard adjustment for you here at school. What with everything happening so fast around you." His eyes kept moving towards Aarons room. Wondering why he'd left his door open during a social event. Was it to show off? Couldn't be, there wasn't much excitement to be seen from his decorative skills. Then why? He shot a glance towards the light mage, nodding slowly in the direction of his room in hopes that he would catch it and close his door unless he wanted someone to snoop in like Max.

Matthew gave Colby an incredulous look. He couldn’t belive him. Yes the gesture was kind and very much appreciated, but he was also being such a little shit. He didn't know if he wanted to punch his arm again or give him a hug. It was all rather confusing for him and the butterflies that swirled in his stomach everytime Colby cracked a smile didn't help. Finally he settled on a bit of both. Matthew gave the boy another light tap on the arm just before pulling him into a tight hug and speaking so only he could hear with his head buried in his shoulder. "T-thats w-w-wondeful. But I d-don't want to find out what happens i-if I lose you. So please...t-think next time." A single tear threatened to roll down his cheek. The large blob teetering on his lash as he wiped it away and gave Layla a glare.

"I-It was a mistake. Deal with it." Her look could kill, but his would raze a city. The sound of bubbling water and voices broke his glance as he watched The Lady of the Lake come forth and place the sword into the stone. Ofcourse he knew this wasn't his story and he wasn’t able to claim such a birthright. But a small part of him wished to try it out anyways. The glint of light from the pommel twinkled in his eyes as he thought of at least touching the legendary sword. However before he could twitch even one finger, Wednesday Adams gave it a try and plucked it out with ease. That solved that and his chance had fluttered away.

Kwassi must've been out of the loop some since he started doing all this vigilante work. Between the criminals, working on nuero-toxins, and mending himself, he now realised he hadn't devoted enough time to keeping up with the American scientists. He'd read some of Barnes' papers on the nervous system a while back but never knew that he was Trans. Then again to Kwassi it didn’t really matter who the information came from, believing that everyone was capable of higher thinking. He said nothing more on the matter as the finally arrived to their destination. Agent Reed had instructed Agent Moss and himself to stay outside and block any other exits.

Kwassi looked around and as Agent Moss had already found out, the only visible ones were the windows and fire escapes that all buildings had. "Demethi! How the hell are we supposed to block all these windows? At least the fire escapes afford us a chance." He began to pace side to side, keeping his eyes fixated on the windows before looking at Moss. "Any idea as to which floor he is likely on? That would at least narrow the search and afford us the time to act." Kwassi popped out his ICERS magazine, noticing he had four more of his concentrayed tranquilizers and the rest were normal ICERS. He popped the magazine back in and kept his weapon drawn in the event he had to shoot a falling Cap or rogue skrull.
