Tales of Genosha: The Witching Hour Part II

Max's eyes went wide as Selene began to talk about them all being apart of a ritual. But the more she shared on it the more he became weary. He wasn't sure if it was a metaphorical meeting of the minds or literal. What's more, did he have anything worth keeping locked inside of his mind? The book on demonology? Magik? The newest edition to his growing list of strange objects with the puzzle box? "Is that supposed to be a metaphor or are we literally going to be able to see each others minds?" There was a bit of a nervous chuckle as he spoke. Then a thought crept in, what if they could see all he has done and were disappointed in their so called hero

"Magic is metaphor," Selene corrected. "Anyone who does not wish to participate is welcome to abstain. This will not be a true merging of minds, only the slightest brush - only what you are comfortable with will be shared. But know that we all have skeletons in our closets - even I." Selene then paused. "If you do not wish to join, please step from the circle now."

Max stood firm within his circle. Straightening up a bit as he squared his shoulders. "I wish to join, just always curious as to exactly what I get myself into when it comes to magic." He began to press certain thoughts to the forefront of his mind. Thinking of the space he created within his room back at the hellfire club, about how effortlessly he saved the president back in Wanda's World, and then of how he created the training room for them all. If any of his surface thoughts were to be seen during this, he wanted it to be these. To focus on his accomplishments and not all his failures. "So, how do we begin?"

"Join hands," Selene instructed. "Focus on your breath. Breathe in and out. As you breathe, you are like the tides - a push and pull, an ebb and a flow. On your skin, feel the shimmering beam of Luna's light. The moon is a triple goddess known by many names. Artemis. Diana. Khonsu. Hecate. Máni. Phoebe. And my namesake, Selene," Selene whispered. "I am the moon. And the moon is me. I am Selene. I am Phoebe. I am Khonshu. I am Diana. Where I begin and she ends is unclear, uncertain, ever drifting. Let the boundaries blur... Let go."

Max followed Selene's instructions, joining hands with the two others beside him. He closed his eyes and began to focus on his breathing, imagining the tides of the ocean ebbing and flowing with every breath. It was a strange sensation, being able to feel the moonlight on the parts of his skin that were exposed. At first he didn't understand, but then he had decided that he didn't have to. With every passing breath he felt more and more distant from his body, was it his body? Memories were rushing through him, bits and pieces, emotions, sensations, but none of which were his. So many others had let themselves be exposed, but Max continued to keep his guard up, he didnt wish to lose himself just yet. A part of him wondered if his magic was present, manifesting itself around his body, but he didn't dare open his eyes.

Memories would begin to blur in and out of focus. Max would recall being a small child in Wales, nearly killing in an automobile accident, only to manifest wings and begin to fly. He would be a small girl in ancient times, gazing up at the moon. He was a young man in Chicago, dribbling the basketball up to the net. He was in a musty old library, searching amongst the books. His sense of self and focus would slip away more and more, until he had become just one of the many, merged entirely into this hybrid mind. Everyone in the circle was breathing as one, existing as one being. As terrifying as that may seem, it was more liberating and exhilarating than anything else - a sort of rush, a cosmic euphoria.

And then, the next thing Max would know, he was himself again. Instead of being over a dozen people, he was one person again, one contained being and soul.

"Is everyone alright?" Selene asked. While everyone else was sprawled out on the ground, feeling exhausted and drained, like they had just run a marathon, she was positively glowing, shimmering really underneath the moonlight.

"Woah... That was intense..." Pixie breathed.

Max turned his head towards Pixies voice, opening his eyes for the first time and having the afterglow of using magic. Stars twinkled in a swirl of black, purple, blues, and pinks that's swirled where his eyes should be. Now showing only two reflections of the universe before the magic faded and his normal eyes came back into view. "Yeah..." He suddenly felt tired, as if he had expended himself just enough. Something he hadn't felt in a while if he was being honest. He had a dopey smile on his face when he turned to look at Selene, seeing how positively radiant she appeared in comparison to everyone else. One of the memories he'd seen crept back and it made Max wonder. He'd have to contact his teacher to find out more. "So this sort of thing happen often Pixie?"

"Yeah," Pixie explained, panting a bit. "Magic's like - like a muscle, y'know? I'm pretty new at it, so I always feel so winded when I'm done."

"That is all for this witching hour. Blessed be, everyone. We will reunite under Luna's glow in three days time," Selene instructed, more or less dismissing the circle.

"I'm craving sushi," Pixie then told Max. "You wanna go get some?"

Max gave Pixie a smile before nodding his head. "Sure, let's get some energy back into us."

Colby was throwing a lot of names out very quickly. Jasmine, her dad? Jafar? Maddie had no inkling as to who any of these people were, but given that her father could be the ruler of this place then perhaps that made Jasmine some form of princess. Making her father...a king? Did every Disney tale have a king and princess? He began to wonder while Tink explained the situation a bit further. Given that the place used to be a massive oasis, it now made more sense to set up shop here. It was a shame they ended up missing it and only got this godsforsaken desert instead. Whoever this Jafar character was was clearly shit at ruling. He grabbed the bag that Tink created for them and slung it over his shoulder as he made his way down the dune. Maddie wanted to ask who all the "notable" characters were but he figured he may be able to tell just by sight, so he kept yo himself.

Near the bottom of the dune Mads caught the glint of something shining in the midday sun. He stopped in his tracks, squinting towards the glare, before finally deciding to go and check it out. He kneeled down on one knee and pulled at the metal, showing off an old styled Arabian oil lamp. It looked good, but antique based on Kansas time. Maddie held it in one hand and pulled his sleeve up with the other, rubbing away some sand that was still on it. "Hey, I found a cool oil lamp. Good no magic way to light our way in a dark place." Maddie undid a strap from his clothes and lopped it through the handle of the lamp before fastening it once more. "So what exactly should we ask the people in the slums?"

Kwassi wasn't sure how to feel about the situation at all. Between Bonnie seeming protective over the flaming jerk, and Black Widow pointing out how he was new at this. Of course he was new, he was a Sci-Tech nerd not a field agent. Why Hill even suggested him for this op was beyond him. Sure it was originally to capture Captain America, but even then he could've made the equipment they needed back in the Quinjet. His field days were as a vigilante. There was none of this alien invasion shit and he'd never encountered a mutant with the ability to do what that Skrull had. When Widow finally released him from the pin, Kwassi stood up and began to rub his wrist, looking towards the others in the room as they gave off their plans. He had one question burning in his mind until Oli asked it himself. If we ally with the Skrull Empire then wouldn't that put Kree targets on Earth? Or could we somehow ally with both?

Kwassi ran through the ideas in his mind, seemingly liking the one where cats just bumble into a room and eat random skrulls then spit them out after for a last chance to join the Princess. Question was was was that even possible? "I'm with Oli on this one. How do we know that aligning with the Skrulls won't bring Kree here? No offense to the Princess. My other question would be, if we do set loose a herd of Flerken, would it show we know too much about skrulls and be considered a threat? Is there a way to set them loose without giving off our hand that we know about them?" None of this sat right with Kwassi, but then again he wasn't an expert on interplanetary politics.

Demetri started rubbing the nape of his neck, a bad trait he'd picked up from a close friend recently. His eye looked off towards the corner of the room as he addressed Anabelle, unsure of how to respond. "If it's too much trouble then just my eye color is fine. Don't want to have you do more than you're already doing." He said with a slight nervous chuckle. His eye flitted back towards the dagger in hand as Anabelle asked about its enchantment. Demi hadn't considered it to be just for show, even if he did prefer to shift than knife fight.

"I was hoping maybe...well, I was hoping to have it be deadly with actual hellfire? Just something in case I end up fighting a monster that is tougher to kill than usual. That and well...it'd look cool and fit my aesthetic." Demi tried straightening up a bit more in an attempt to lose some of his anxiety for having asked such a high task of someone he hadn't known. A part of him wished Rebecca was still here, she certainly could have done this. "So did someone Summon the ghost? Or do they just appear sometimes? It's kinda cool and I'm very jealous."

Cassian hadn't given too much thought to Ireland's weather if he was being honest. It made sense that it would snow there, but whenever he envisioned the place it was always rolling green landscapes with low hanging fog clinging to the ground. High off cliffs with massive waves that crashed against it, and small faerie circles formed from mushrooms. He never once thought that snow could grace that land, but again he supposed it made sense. He was knocked away from his thoughts as a ball was kicked towards his direction and landed firmly against his head.

Instantly his eyes flared a deep purple before he heard the kids' voice and the anger seeped away. He turned to face the kid, clutching the ball that had landed by Janelles feet, seeing how she interacted with him. Cassian's chest deflated as the air trapped in his lungs, meant for a scream, simply died out into a sigh. "You heard the young woman, no harm done. But you've got a mighty strong kick there kid, try and keep it in the field ok?" He offered the child a smile, mentally pinching the bridge of his nose.

Maddie followed Tink up the sand dune, his feet sinking in the sand slightly as he tried to figure out how to walk on it. He looked to the side ans noticed he wasn't the only one struggling a bit, deciding that Tinkerbell must have been cheating and using a bit of Pixie Dust to lighten her steps. He was just happy enough to have large enough boots to keep any sand from entering his shoes. As he finally reached the top, he could see the city of Agrabah out in the distance, a glitter of metal shone in the sun from one of the buildings. "Well this doesn't make sense. Why build a city in the middle of nowhere? I can't imagine there are any neighboring cities around here and this heat and sand must make it unbearable to cross to the next place." Sure if it was a fairytale land they tended to be isolated and unrefined but...Maddie had hoped that perhaps having been real there would be more logic to them.

When Tink had asked them if they had any questions, Maddie figured he could think of several. But given Colbys reaction earlier, it was probably best that he kept them to himself unless he wanted to seem like more of an outcast than he already was. Willow had no issues asking hers however. Sure they were about the city, but they were still valid. This group couldn't be expected to waltz into a location with no real Intel on where they're parents were. It wasnt like this place was Kansas City. It appeared much larger already, and did a lot to pique Maddies interest. Wishing to see the movie more now to find out what story would be told in a desert surrounding by nothing.

Demi felt a bit awful intruding, having seen that some had closed their books as he was welcomed in. He wasn't one to want to take up space, let alone have someone stop what they're doing just to have his attention. But before anything else was said, a ghostly figure appeared before him and if it had eyes, he could swear they were staring right at him. Or rather through him. Demi involuntarily gripped the front of his denim jacket and slowly began to pull it closed, as if to cover up. He looked at the figure, trying to figure out what it was it wanted before it vanished and he was left standing there.

"Right, yeah, mind if I ask what that was?" Demetri said as he slowly circled the spot where it once stood before finally making his way over towards Anabelle and meeting her halfway. "As for what you can do for me...well I was wondering if you could enchant a couple of items for me...if that's ok?" Demetri pulled the bronze eye out of its container, showing it to her in one hand before summoning his dagger into the other. "Was told you guys could help make this eye look real, and hopefully capable of shifting its appearance with me, and I was hoping to add a bit more heat to my dagger, maybe some blue hellfire?"

Cassian walked in silence next to Janelle as they made their way from the Dining Pavilion. He noticed the Roman campers heading towards their own private section, talks of drama stirring about as one of the girls looked rather upset at the entire situation. His interest peaked for a short moment, before the sounds of campers playing cut his mind short of the potential gossip and helped him steer back to his walk and who he was with.

Janelle's sudden insight caught Cassian's attention and seemed to mirror his own feelings, the only exception being that he could see the world around him. He thought about describing the scenery, what it all looked like and the colors, but he realized the words would mean nothing given that she'd never had the chance to experience colors before anyways. As they continued walking, he could feel the ground becoming muddier thanks to the melting snow. "I'm not a huge fan of the snow, but it is a shame to see it all melted. It holds a certain...elegance in its beauty. Like the feeling of a cold smooth glass on a hot summer's day."

Black Widow moved as effortlessly and swiftly as he'd always imagined she might. Knocking his ICER out of his hands with ease before loosening his stance and pinning him to the ground. A part of him was geeking out inside to have been able to see her in action, another part greatly annoyed by the inconvenience and the fact that no one seemed to be the least bit worried about the potential Flynposter. "Seriously? Last time we saw that man his joints unhinged like a mechanical construct and shot dawned missiles at us just before calling the aid of the delightful neighbors from down the lane." He didn't bother attempting to resist against Black Widow, feeling it would not only be futile, but potentially end up with some broken bones.

Kwassi tried his best to match eyes with Flynn only to see Goose walk up to him and slap him with a tentacle. "No offense, just last you I ran into literally tried blowing me up, set the room ablaze, and broke my favorite staff which...shouldn't of even been possible but..." In all honesty so many things happened so quickly in that small space, coupled with the missiles exploding, Kwassi may of gotten a concussion and forgotten a few details. "Also if its all the same to you would you mind getting off me Black Widow? I appreciate your work but I'd like to be standing now."

Maddie scanned the others before returning his eyes to Colby, a bit of blush beginning to form at his cheeks. "I haven't really seen much of any of the Disney movies. Tended to get bullied out of them so I just sat and read by myself. It was an easier escape anyways." Maddie had considered watching them once he left, but with Disney's vault system it made it difficult to gather them all, so a few movies went unseen. Aladdin being one of them. "Maybe when they finally decide to release a new Blue-Ray for it I'll be able to finally grab it in stores. Still need that, and a few others." A part of him had began to think of a Disney oviedo night with Colby, but he wasn't too sure how into it he might be given the movies they'd be watching. He hadn't quite caught how it happened, but suddenly a goblin-esque being appeared and Tink was saying he could watch the pets.

Maddie gave Colby a hesitant look, before deciding to let his cat down and instructing it to behave and to listen to the goblinoid. Hopefully it could be trusted. By next breath, three portals appeared, one leading towards a desert with sand dunes coating the landscape. By Colbys description, this was Agrabah, and his next destination. Maddie grabbed the pendant from Merlins hand, placing it around his neck and under his shirt, before taking one final breath of comfort and stepping through into the dry air of the desert. His eyes squinted instantly at the glaring sun, one hand placed over them to try and create shade.
Tales of Genosha: Echo

It's towards the end of the night, Echo's at the tiki bar, Veil is off doing something with Spark Plug, the others aren't really around at the moment. Echo will feel a sharp pressure in his head. Everyone becomes motionless. This is then followed by the voice of a young man - Help! And then, everything is back to normal. People are moving and talking like nothing had happened at all. As if Echo had imagined the entire thing.

Echo sat alone at the bar, watching as the others went about their things for the evening. Some splintering off to go mingle with others while others simply went to go do other things or be alone. He looked at his sister talking to Soark Olug at a distance, holding his drink in hand and taking a sip before gripping the cup tightly. He placed the cup onto the counter, reaching up to massage his temples when a sudden pain overcame him. He closed his eyes briefly, opening them up only to see the world frozen in time. Everyone was motionless as Harry's eyes darted from side to side, shooting wide open as he heard a cry for help in the back of his head. Just as soon as the voice finished everyone began to move and talk once again as if nothing had even happened. Harry looked at his drink on the counter, stood from his chair, and made his way out of the Tiki Bar. "I...Who are you? How can I help?" He thought to himself, wondering if the voice could hear him.

Outside of the Tiki Bar, a few mutants were loitering and chatting - they looked like college aged kids, ripe with hormones and a lack of parental supervision. They weren't looking at Echo or paying any attention to him, just laughing and talking about a ghost story. Supposedly, from what Echo would be able to catch, Genosha was haunted by an ancient demon called the Patchwork Man. The Patchwork Man made people do things they wouldn't otherwise, turning you into a demon, a shadow of your former self.

One of the kids stopped suddenly, their eyes turning bright blue as they turned and stared at Echo. "Free me," the kid said.

The glow then appeared in another person's eyes. "He's going to kill me."

There was an odd sense of normality in being in a place that had local legends. He'd heard so many growing up that it was almost comforting. He'd tried to act casual as he waited for a response, only to have it come from one of the kids outside, and then another. Harry was beginning to get a little creeped out. He took a step back, away from the kids, before he reminded himself someone needed his help. Someone just said their life was in danger. He took two steps forward, looking at the last kid who spoke with a stern and concerned look."Who's going to kill you? Where are you? How can I help?" He felt as if he was out of his mind. A part of him wondering if this is how Casper felt all of the time. But he knew what he saw, and his heart was already starting to quicken.

The kid startled, seemingly completely back to normal. Aside from the fact that he had a third eye in the middle of his head, he could've been just an ordinary college student, probably with gripes and complaints about their professors and midterms and the upcoming football games. He wasn't wearing a costume or anything like that, just normal, ordinary clothes. "Wh-what? Someone's going to kill me?!" he asked, all three eyes widening.

A rabbit burst into view and then went off at a run.

Harry watched as the rabbit burst past them, taking a half step towards ita before halting for a brief moment to turn and look at the kids. For a split second it appeared as if he had two heads, before finally another him fully emerged and Harry went bounding off to chase the rabbit while Barry stayed behind. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you, just a game of telepathic tag is all but I seemed to of missed them by a second. Anyways I've got a rabbit to follow before I lose this game." Barry explained, hoping the kids would just think it's some new mutant game. He went running after Harry, the bright clothing much easier to spot than a single rabbit, as he tried to catch up to him while Harry continued the chase. "I really hope that I'm supposed to be following you because if not then I'm just wasting more time."

The rabbit was leading Harry further and further, until vanishing into a hole in the ground outside of a gigantic building in the middle of the island, one they had passed by the previous day - Hellfire Manor. The hole seemed to grow by itself, until it was large enough for a mutant to slip on through, as if beckoning Echo down.

Harry's pace slowed down as he saw the building starting to come into view. Whatever this was, it couldn't be good news. Someone, a telepath, was screaming for help and it was coming from beneath the Hellfire Manor. He was about to consider his luck gone as the rabbit disappeared beneath the building, cursing that he didn't have a mutation to help him follow suit, until finally the hole began to widen and make room for him to follow. "Oh Harry, what have you gotten yourself into?" He looked around left and right to make sure no one else could see him, then looked towards Barry. "Ok, keep watch and if you hear me scream from down there then go get Veil and the others." Harry took a breath before crawling down into the hole, searching for the rabbit as he followed the tunnel down, wondering what he was doing.

The tunnel turned from earthen to steel relatively quickly. With the emphasis on organic engineering on Krakoa, the tunnel was likely built by the man obsessed with metal - Magneto. The tunnel was incredibly cramped, barely big enough for Echo - and the reason why became apparent quickly. It wasn't really a tunnel - it was a vent that he was crawling through. At the end of the vent, Echo would be able to see down into a sterile looking room. The room was void of furniture or anything of interest, aside from what looked like a gigantic egg shaped pod - almost like an alien craft.

Voltus Glade is in the far northern end of the island, away from most other major structures. It is a natural clearing on a cliff, surrounded by trees on all side except for the cliff side, giving spectacular views. On the ground in this clearing is a large circular base, with smaller circles carved into it with strange runes unlike any Max had ever seen before. Max will see that there are 10 of these runes. In the middle of the circle, where there are no runes, is Selene. Nine other mutants are standing on the circular rune spots, leaving one spot open.

Max walked through the dense trees, finally seeing his first glimpse of the Voltus Glade breaking through the leaves. His steps stopped briefly as he crossed the threshold between the treeline and open clearing. The sheen of the runes looked magical in the moonlight, making the empty one much more inviting. He quickly scanned the faces of the other mutants there, seeing them standing on a rune each before finally looking towards Selene. A part of him was weary, apprehensive, but mostly he was lured in the mystery of it all, and by what he could learn. So, Max took his first step into the clear open space, walking straight towards the empty rune and standing in its center. He didn't say anything, unsure of what even to day. Hi, I'm Max and I'm a magic user?

"I see we have a newcomer to our circle," Selene greeted softly. She looked somewhat luminous, as if she were faintly glowing in the moonlight. In her left hand, she was holding a dusty old tome - a grimoire that was positively ancient. The other mutants in the circle looked at Max somewhat curiously - standing next to him was an elvish looking girl with a shock of pink hair. "Would you care to introduce yourself to the coven?"

"Sorry, didn't want to interrupt anything." Max let out softly as he rubbed the back of his neck. He shifted his weight from one hip to the other, looking at the 'coven' before him. Somehow that word sat ill with him, but he wasn't sure why. Was Stranges place also a Coven? Did he have another name for it? Was Rune part of one? He realized he was still silent, having not introduced himself yet. "Uh. Hi? Names Maximillian, most call me Max, I have magic but its...unpredictable, chaotic even. But I know I can get control, eventually. I've seen it, a future in which I could do things that seem more like fantasy than reality. And I've done things to that effect too." Max had no idea what it was he was supposed to say, or how much was too much to say. But it all just flowed out of him as soon as he begun to speak, finally cutting himself off and looking about to gauge the others reactions and faces.

"You aren't interrupting anything at all - just a simple centering of ourselves under Luna's light," Selene explained softly with a smile. "Would you say that you are just beginning your path, then?"

"Hi, I'm new too to all of this - my name's Pixie," the elvish looking girl with pink hair whispered, positively beaming at Max as she held out a hand. The wings on her back fluttered somewhat excitedly. "It's so totally cool what you all did for Genosha."

Max took the elvish girls hand, giving her a small shake as his free hand made its way towards the nape of his neck once more. "To be quite honest I'm still not entirely certain what all we did. Though I'm sure missing months of time can do that to someone." He turned his attention back towards Selene before looking down at his feet and shuffling a bit more towards the center of his rune. "I think that's a fair thing to say. I've learned a lot from quite a few people, but I know there's still more to experience and learn. Like centering under Luna? What exactly does that do? How does it work? What benefits does it hold for the caster? And is Luna a god or just the name given?" There was still so much he didn't know about this group or their magic habits. He wondered if it would be rude to ask them all for a quick explanation and demonstration of their powers.

"Luna's the moon goddess," Pixie started explaining quickly. "The moon makes our magic stronger, so the more moonlight you soak up, the better your spells. And different phases of the moon are good for different things, like the New Moon is really good for rituals and spells having to do with fresh starts and new beginnings."

"Perfectly said, Pixie. When we center ourselves, our energy is stabilized - balanced. And centering under Luna does not only focus our powers... but enhances them. I am guessing, given your chaotic spellwork in the past, you have never attempted to center before. You ought to practice meditation, Maximillian."

"I feel like I should've brought my notebook." Max joked towards Pixie with a bit of a chuckle. "Didn't really have a name for it besides meditation. Usually do it right before I'm about to try something massive and stupid. Helps to focus my thoughts into what I'm attempting to create before I create it. That and well...nevermind." Max wasn't sure if it was wise to mention the voice he heard at times in the beginning. The one who told him words of power that he could speak to make his magic happen. It made sense that if they believed in Luna perhaps there were others they believed in. But he wasn't sure if he was ready for that kind of commitment and knowledge. He pulled off the yellow hood from his robes to better reveal his face, letting the moonlight touch his skin to see if he felt any different. "So how does this all work? How close did Wizards of the Coast get?"

"I'm not familiar," Selene said, tilting her head and her eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly.

"I think he's talking about Dungeons and Dragons," another member of the circle chimed in.

"Ooo, I've always wanted to play!" Pixie gushed. "Do you think you could teach me? Maybe after this is over, we could play a game? Do we need a lot of pieces for it?"

"... At any rate, mutants are unique when it comes to magical abilities. Whereas humans typically need to make deals with other entities in exchange for power or draw on other dimensions, mutants are beholden only to ourselves. We are magic. Any mutant on this island is capable of wielding magic, although some of you are more suited to it than others. Your third eye is wide open, whereas for others it is closed. We can combine our powers through ritual to cast spells or stand alone."

Max's attention was briefly turned towards the other mage that knew about Dungeons and Dragons, followed by Pixies excitement over the notion of being able to play it. He wasn't sure how fun a game of D&D would be with people who actually knew magic, potentially arguing over how that isn't how it works or looking for ways to homebrew they're own powers into the game. Then again using magic to create a vast AR system where they played as the characters could be fun. His thoughts were cut short as Selene began to speak again. Explaining further how it all worked, Max's hand twitching a bit with an itch to contact Strange and ask him if his magic was inate or if he made a pact? He didn't seem like the kind however, but he also wasn't currently present it seemed.

There was a part that stuck with him however. Or draw in other dimensions. He thought back to the voice he first heard when his powers began to manifest. Making him wonder if he was even truly a mutant, or just a human who had unknowingly tapped into another dimension and garnered powers from another realm. "Right. So...what do we do here? Exactly? I'd love to get to know all of you and what you're all capable of."

"Our circle is a place of learning and teaching," Selene answered. "We meet at the witching hour to center ourselves and then practice and hone our magical skills as a unit. As for getting to know each other better... That actually matches up perfectly with a ritual I have been tinkering with. Of course, it requires the explicit consent of each member of the circle. It's a gentle sort of magic, a slight meeting of minds - where everyone becomes a small part of everyone else for a few minutes, where it's hard to tell where you begin and the next person ends."
