Maddie had hoped that no one would see that display of flirting. Having thought that they were away from all the prying eyes given that Chesire was playing lookout and his own father was busy with the tumblers inside the lock. He'd always wanted to learn how to pick locks. It was a necessary skill for some of the larger escapist routines in magic, but Maddie hadn't quite worked his way up to those yet. When his father turned to spy a chance at seeing him flirt with Colby, Maddie turned away and blushed a bright red as he felt embarrassed to have done that in front of their parents. Hopefully there would be time for that later in a more…private setting.

With a last click the lock finally settled free and they were able to open the door towards the Vault. A room sprawling with gold and golden trinkets. Every inch littered with Genie knows what as they stepped into the room. "It's like a needle in a haystack…" Maddie quickly began to scan the room, searching for the golden lamp as he slowly made his way around the room. The first corner hadn't proven much luck, nor the second. He felt as if they were wasting time, stepping back to examine the room as a whole again and treating it like one of his favorite visual puzzle games. I Spy. His eyes quickly darted, unfocusing on everything so that the distinctive silhouette of the lamp would stand out. Luckily he'd found the lamp and snatched it up, replacing it with the one he'd found in the outskirts of town so Jafar would be none the wiser. "Got it. Now what?" He said as he hid the lamp amongst his person where he'd previously had the other.

Demi blushed a bit, embarrassed as Kristin poked fun at him. He clicked his tongue, making a slight tch sound in response to what she had said. "Oi no fair. That wasn't even my fault, bloody monsters gouged out my I as I was transformed. Still…to be safe." He made his way back inside the store, looking around. There was a ton of supplies, food, and just about anything a camper might need. Save for perhaps a sheath for his new gift from his father. He heaved out a heavy sigh as he looked towards Kristin. "I'll be back. Gotta find a safe way to carry these so that I dont poke anyone's eyes out by accident. Really, you'd think Zeus would've thought to give them a sheath as well. I'm heading to the armory but I'll be quick."

He quickly made his way towards the Armory, careful not to run as he had to open blades ready to slice something by accident. He'd never seen what Celestial bronze could do to a demigod and he didn't want to find out. Once there he began to rummage around, searching for a sheath for his sword(s) and while there were a few on display, none of them matched the uniqueness of his blades designs. Frustrated, he began to search for anything really. A guitar case, something to hold the wooden bit of a bow, really whatever he could find. Finally he'd stumbled upon an old dark leather back holster. It had four separate areas to slide in a sword and tie it off. Not unlike what Deadpool wore for his swords. It was a bit comical but it would have to do.

With everything settled and his swords now strapped along one side of his back, Demetri made his way towards the Big House where they were also supposed to meet up for the quest. Nerves began to build up, anxious for what was to come and how well it would go. But he tried to steady them. Taking a deep breath with each step as he began to break into a light jog. He made his way past Kristin and Janelle, calling to them as he passed the entrance to the store on his way to the Big House. "Hey! I'm all ready and packed up. Heading on over to the Big House to wait on our uber." He kept his pace, running till he reached the steps and sat down at the second lowest step. Breathing, and waiting for the rest to come.

One minute Demetri was there examining a sword, the next he'd bolted off to find a sheath. Cassian couldn't make heads or tails of the guy. Deciding between whether he was ADHD or just very focused on getting what was needed for the quest as quickly as possible. Then again, hyperfocus could also be seen as a side-effect so it could easily go back to square one with him. Kristin had already gone back to double check with Janelle, seeing how things were going on her end. He wasn't quite sure why, but she seemed quieter than usual. He wondered if something was on her mind, but decided not to pry at the moment.

His gaze lingered for a moment too long as he watched the two interact before he turned his back to them and began to pretend to look around for more items. If he asked her anything now, it could make for an excruciatingly long awkward car ride to wherever they were going. He didn't need that, nobody did. With the last of his supplies gathered he looked towards Kristin and Janelle and waved at them with a smile. "Figure I'd stick around with you two. I think Chiron mentioned it being two trips, so figured you me and Janelle for one, and the Apollo kids with demi-zeus in another. He'll probably need two kids of Apollo anyways." He said jokingly.

Small cogs had begun to wind inside his mind. Taking in the motions of the lanky person now known as Kyreth. He hadn't fully anticipated him to step back while he went forth. Though it now marked him as an anti confrontational person. Someone of his stature should've stood tall, towered over him, and attempted to use it as an advantage to force him to shirk away. But Kyreth simply matched paces back as if reflexively moving in a manner he'd been used to his entire life. His partner however had much more confidence and control. Only later to admit to her uses as a proverbial bard having placed her either close enough to altercations to actually lend credit to his boast or having her had only listened to tales of those she met and using her charismatic showmanship make her seem more confident than she really was.

Ermes couldn't help but listen in to what she was relaying to the receptionist. Key words standing out from Buscon, to Genisian, to the word Asvari being used twice. Once for her and another for her tall companion. His attention was split however, listening in and out to the tale Cerriac was tell Ceolfric about the beast that roams the lands. A supposed curse laid upon by an orcs final breath in a battle long ago. His answer however wasn't particularly satisfying. It amounted to little more than Yes we've heard of an issue and will handle it eventually. Ermes decidedly turned his full attention towards the blue pianist and away from Kyreth, arms crossed in his leather jacket as he had a slight pout. His right hand fiddled with the pommel of his sword as he thought about what to say.

Finally he blew air towards a tuft of shadow that moved past his eye. He raised his hand up slightly before speaking, an old habit from back home that hadn't left him even after the years had passed. "I have a question." There was a short pause as he debated on if he should truly ask. It felt almost humiliating to do so but finally he spoke out again. "The man over there referred to those two as Asvari or something. What does that mean? Is it like another Classification of Aetherborn or?" Ermes lowered his hand once more, shoving them both into his pockets.

Max had already known that the Acheron was capable of containing something. What he hadn't known was how it worked and how versatile it was. He'd expected it to be a prison for demons or some other sort of thing that went bump in the night. There was a pang of pain in his heart as emptiness settled in for a moment while he looked at the golden device in Pixie's hands. He'd wanted to try and use it to lock up the eldritch horror that had attacked the coven. But as it tended to happen, when he needed his magic the most it failed him. He couldn't grab the Acheron in time, countless mages lay dead at his feet and as usual he needed to find another way. Luckily for those who survived he had found a way, unknowingly offering a piece of his soul in order to weird a staff that banished the awful creature.

Max walked over towards her, plucking the magical artifact out of her hands and inspecting it for a moment before offering her a wide childish grin. "What can I say? I have some Strange friends. Kinda happens after you've had a multiversal trip with them to help reshape reality." He placed the device on the bookshelf behind his pillow, hiding it from plain sight. Had anything been written about having a plus one, Max wouldn't have hesitated to bring Pixie to the party. Surely she'd enjoy it, and he'd get to introduce two of his favorite casters to each other. Once Veil and Callie had left his room, his shoulders slumped a bit as he let out a small breath.

"I'll see what I can do for you Marrow. As for a new location. Pixie, know any locations that would be good for this? I didn't want to say anything in front of Veil or Callie but I'm grasping at straws here. This is uncharted territory and while I've got a great lead on what to do I could use all the help I can get up until the actual ritual. You two seem skeptical enough, and Pixie knows magic it's in her blood. So…any idea Pix?" Max said as he began helping Harry to pick up around the room. He hadn't planned for them to do the ritual in his room, but if they were going to he'd at least need to clean up a bit before then. As he grabbed food and items off the floor, Max made a passive wave of his hand, the cosmic magic flowing through him and swirling at Marrow's feet to make the best bowl of bone marrow stew she'd ever had.

Harry listened in as the others spoke. Noticing that only Callie had left with his sister on the hunt for James and Casper. A part of him wondered if the telepaths on the island would be able to help them. Maybe they could ask them telepathically and see if they can scan the island for a location to at least narrow the search down to one place or even notify the two that they were being looked for. He watched as Max began to pick up the food that was placed on the floor, a slight eye roll coming over him.

"I'm a little afraid to ask but, why do you have so much stale McDonald's on the floor? Hardly any seems to be touched so clearly you're not eating it." Harry had asked. It seemed to be one of the many Elephants in the room that no one else was questioning. Max turned to look at Harry, an awkward smile on his face. "Oh. Um. Had a bit of a seance earlier today using a spirit box. Offering the spirits food, even McDonald's, helps with it a lot to make the connection more tangible. It's how I was able to talk to Ben without Casper." Harry stared at Max in odd amazement at the ridiculous string of words he'd just said. "Oh good. So you got consent before robbing a grave."

As soon as Chesire said the word, Maddie was ready to move and mobilize. Not only for the odd thrill of breaking into a magical secret Vault of a Genie that ruled the land. But also because he really wanted to leave the party and crowds as fast as he could. He walked behind Colby, watching as a cat rubbed up against him and Colby was instinctively himself. Picking it up and petting it without so much as a thought. His dopey smile returned as he watched the man before him and melted a bit. It was strange to think his childhood friend had now become his boyfriend.

Entrap in thought, he'd hardly noticed when they reached the Vault. Bumping into Colby slightly as he reached his hands out and grabbed his waist to keep himself from falling back. It was a precarious stance, looking like they were about to do something cheeky. Maddie's face blushed as he let go of Colbys waist, moving to one side and ensuring they were out of view of the rest of the party. He doubted Agrabah had surveillance cameras, and so he leaned in and pressed a kiss to Colbys cheek. Leaving it there for a moment and pulling back. "You look too good in that. Makes it hard to resist" He said trying his best attempt at flirting.

Demetri was surprised to say the least. He hadn't expected Cassian to go and be helpful, let alone give him his supplies just like that. Sure whatever was in there Kristen would technically pay for but now he hardly had to think of a thing. He rummaged through the lot, seeing the vast assortment of items Cassian had grabbed in such a short amount of time. With an awkward smile he managed to get out the words "Thanks" as the child of Dionysus walked away. He'd need to find his own snacking food for the trip, making his way down the isle past Kris and Cass he went to an area with candies on display. "Can't forget these buggers. It'll make any trip bearable."

Demi grabbed several packets of Maltesers off the shelf. Stopping as he looked at the sheer amount he'd grabbed before decidedly taking two more just to be safe. Cassian had already grabbed a few non-perishables, so Demi wasn't too worried about the rest. He was about to turn and let Kristen know he was all done shopping when there came a loud crack and crash. A few items rattled on the shelf as he watched the bright flash of light that seemed to match his eyes perfectly. It faded away as he began to feel a strange pull towards the weapon that lay where it struck. He took a few steps forward, stopping at the doorway as he saw the eagle look at him and fly off.

He didn't know how to feel. He hated his father for everything he'd done, he wanted no real part in his legacy, and yet in his hour before a major quest he had sent him a weapon arced with lightning and a simple note tied to it. Perhaps in some way Zeus was watching over him, perhaps this was his way of helping when he was otherwise unable to. Demetri reached out and grabbed the weapon by its handle, lighting dancing around his hand for a moment before sparking up towards his hair. He hadn't even noticed it, but in the moment he had dropped his disguise he'd been wearing for most of his life. His dark hair faded to a blonde that shimmered as the light caught it. Like strands of gold were woven through his hair.

He lifted the weapon, twirling it in his hands when he subconsciously held it in a particular way causing it to part down its middle and split into two separate scimitars. Each with lightning that danced along the blades. The note slipped off the handle and onto the ground as Demi held both swords in one hand and knelt down to pick it up. "Hey son, I hope this aids you on your quest." The words felt foreign, as if they weren't meant for him. He stuffed the paper into his pocket and cleared his throat. "Here's hoping this something is a giant killing weapon. We're gonna need it."

Cassian turned to tell Kristin he didn't need help finding supplies. That's when he saw her talking to Janelle. His mouth closed, fully aware of how he was about to embarrass himself or seem conceded. He hadn't expected her to answer him though, but he suggested he left the comment open to the room. Cassian closed the gap between them, picking up an item and inspecting it as he spoke to Kristin. "I wasn't fully referring to you. I know you've been on a handful of quests already. I'm more worried about those who haven't, including myself. I was taught how to fight and fend for myself. I've no idea how to work as a team but I intend to learn quickly." He glanced over towards Demetri who was piling on candy into his order.

"Listen. We have a kid of the Big Three coming. I'm just worried, ok." Cassian spoke in a hushed voice. What happened next was anyone's guess. A flash of lightning, the sound of thunder, and the shop shaking as the impact hit just outside of it. Like the other two, Cassian went towards the dangerous sound to see what had happened. It was as if Zeus was telling him to shut his mouth. A weapon, forged for Demetri and delivered by lightning with an accompanying eagle. A sign from the gods that perhaps this quest might not be as horrific as he thought. Or, that his suspicions are right and they'd need this to advance forward.

Max eyed Pixie as she messed with his gift from Strange. He rolled the word over in his mind. Acheron. Taking a few steps towards her before giving her a smile. "It was a gift and party invite all in one. Though I'm not gonna lie to you I've struggled to figure out exactly how to use it. All I know is whatever it is I was able to solve it but didn't really have much to show for it afterwards. I'd like to believe that it was given to me for a reason, so any insight on this device would be great." Sunshine whispered something in his ear before stepping off towards his door. Max could only rub the back of his neck and look away a bit embarrassed by what she'd said. He knew he tended to get along much easier with girls than guys, case and point Pixie, Leighton, and even now Sunshine.

Despite that, he always managed to make an utter fool of himself whenever a guy was around. Especially one that he liked. "Hopefully soon. Just gotta gather the others to make this happen." Max paused for a moment looking around his room, seeing the books piled on his floor, some tossed clothes and a large pile of MaxDonalds from earliers seance. "What? Is the fast food and dorm aesthetic not up to your witchy liking? To be fair I didn't exactly expect company. Especially twice in one day. But yeah I've got a spot in mind for this to happen in." He turned to Veil and gave her a smile. "If you could grab them that'd be great. Give me some time to gather myself after using so much magic. As for the Ben, he should be fine as is for now."

Harry waited Impatiently as he watched Max fill the hole through the newly made portal. He tried not to think too much about it as the angles made absolutely no sense to him and the idea that he could simply reach through and be party island side and partly in New Orleans was enough to make his head explode. So he stood there tapping his foot with his arms crossed as he watched Max fill the hole before finally making his way through. He let out a breath of relaxation as the crow lady hadn't returned. Whether or not they were aware of their intrusion was still up in the air, and he hoped they didn't cause Genosha anymore strife or attacks on the island.

While the others chatted, he began to pick up some of Max's clothes, folding them and placing them onto nearby counters and surfaces. Straightening his books and piling all the food in the nearest bag he could find. "I don't miss living in a room with you one bit. Or at the very least I don't miss the mess. You're not too bad." Harry's room had always been quite tidy, color coordinating everything and making sure that even his clothes were arranged by fabric, style, and color. "If you need any help setting things up just ask. I can call the bois and make quick work of whatever it is. Setting candles, lighting incense, throwing petals or what not."

There was a tear in Maddie as Willow linked her arm in his. To one extent he felt comforted, as if she wouldn't let anything bad happen to him. Acting as a sort of anchor for him. On the other however, it made him feel more trapped within this nightmare of a party. He felt as if all eyes were on him, everyone talking and plotting against him. He closed his eyes to try and block it out and was suddenly hit with a flash of memories. They flooded in with such force, filling in the gaps of his life before the orphanage, before Maleficent.

For a moment he staggered, placing one hand on his head as tried to reign in the feeling and what was happening. A singular memory stood out amongst the sea of others. His father was setting up a tea party, Chesire reading a book and telling fanciful stories of each land to him and Colby. It was strange to know they had met before. But perhaps that was why he felt so drawn to him when first they'd met in Kansas. More than just being from the same story, it was a familial tie that transcended worlds and memories and clung to their hearts. He gave Colby a dopey smile and wished he could kiss him on the spot. "Turns out I have heard about this place." he said a bit shy.

Demetri looked over towards Janelle as she offered to pay for his questing supplies. He figured it wasn't a bad offer, she'd been on several quests herself and most likely knew a bunch of the basics to get. Of course no one could fully prepare for what was going to happen, but they could certainly try. He looked towards the front door, sighing a bit as he worried about Zeke and finally hung his head low before responding. "Yeah. Thanks mate, could use a few pointers on what to get anyways. I'm not even sure what to expect." It was a little weird thinking about it. The last time Demetri had visited the store it was to find Maltesers and some ingredients to make Zeke's gift. Now he was going to shop for a battle against a giant whose last slayer was Zeus and a child of his themselves, all to use the Doors of Death.

As he made his way towards the doorway, he'd hope to spot Zeke waiting outside. He would casually ask him if he wanted to tag along and get supplies together, try and have a few precious moments before they finally embarked. But as he crossed the threshold, Zeke was nowhere to be found. There was a tightness to his chest, a slight pain as if his ribs had constricted and were ever so slightly pressing against his heart. He decided not to dwell on it and pressed forward, watching the distance that had begun to grow between him and Kristin. The walk there was relatively quiet, then again the mood that hung in the air made anyone want to stifle all conversations.

When they'd finally arrived at the shop Demetri stopped just outside the door. Waiting patiently for a moment as it all started to become a bit too real. His electric blue eyes pierced through the doorway as he took in a breath before marching in. "Not exactly sure what to look for. Mind giving me some pointers?" He tried to offer Kristin a smile, but even he found it hard to manage given the situation. He'd never truly thought that he would get a quest, always expecting it to be anyone else but him.

Cassian looked up from the shelf he was at, looking across the store towards the campers that had just walked in. He could overhear Demi asking for advice on what supplies to get when Cassian simply rolled his eyes. He made his way over towards the pair and gave him a leveled look. "Here take what general supplies I've gotten so far. I'll just go and grab some more. There's food, first aid supplies, and other things." He turned around to gather more supplies when he stopped mid turn and turned back to face them. "Listen. I know I may not be the easiest to get along with at times, but we are going to need to work as a team if we want any chance at survival. Look around a bit more, see if anything else catches your eyes."

With that, Cassian had turned back around and headed over towards where he'd previously been. Snagging more supplies that he had given to Demetri. He didn't like their odds one bit. Sure he was finally on a quest, and a major one at that. But unfortunately for him it was with a large group, one of which was a child of the Big Three. Monsters were already going to be naturally drawn to such a large group, but Demetris' scent would be like a signal flare being shot up. He didn't care for the kids of the Big Three, but he didn't want to become another statistic due to another Demigod's mistake or scent.

Ermes arched an eyebrow at the tall man's question. He wasn't sure if he was playing dumb in an attempt to have Ermes drop his guard, or if he truly could somehow be this dense. He decided it was more likely to be the former. He softly clicked his tongue, making a low tch sound. "I'm fine right here thank you. Besides, you all made it here before me. It'd be rude to just step ahead." He also didn't trust having his back turned to the pair, but he wasn't about to announce that to the room. When pressed about Ei's behavior Ermes simply shrugged. He glanced over towards her, taking in her expression once again before turning his attention to the two cloaked figures before him.

"I couldn't tell you. I only met her shortly before you lot, but I know she's studied and clearly of some form of wealth. Maybe she's just taking in the interior of this place? Or perhaps she has differing opinions on what style of sconces belong where." Ermes pressed his foot against the wall he was leaning on, slowly pushing himself forward like a vampire rising from a coffin. He took several steps closer towards the pair, lowering his voice only to a whisper for the two. "I'm more curious as to all the silence and whispering going on than the drool that's likely to accumulate at the corner of her mouth." He said as he nodded towards Eila.

Their conversation was cut short as the pianist began to address the room. If he was anything at all it was the exact opposite of Ermes. Loud, bright, obnoxiously grandiose. He wasn't sure how well they'd get along, but he doubted it truly mattered. The half elf cut in, interrupting the display to call on the next of them to sign up, Ermes glanced around the room to see who else would step forward, and to see if the masked woman would reveal her face. He gave her a bit of a pointed look, almost to say you're up princess while keeping his attention towards Kyreth hoping to see if they'd actually respond back to him or use this open invitation to step away from yet another conversation with him. He didn't try to look menacing, though he supposed that his relaxed face was off-putting enough to keep others at bay. So he tried to manage a small smile. The tiniest of curls at the left end of his lips giving him a lopsided smile.
