Appearance: Jack is a tall man of around 6'0 and weighing in just under 170 pounds. Fit and tough as a nail Jack is in great physical condition due to his tough training sessions he imposes on himself. He has golden hair and dark green eyes. He usually wears a grey jacket or trench coat when out in public and underneath that a tattered black shirt and white pants. Sometimes he wears a old fashioned cap on his head but he usually leaves it at home.
Personality:

Fanatical, determined, and driven to do great things Jack is at home on the battlefield and in tough situations. He believes in freedom is the right of all peoples despite ideologies and or race. He despises Britannia's conquests and feels the need to get rid of the Empire if not at least free as many nations as possible. He is not one to be swayed easily by words and is a fierce opponent on any stage. Though he is willing to admit he is not the very best he still is very adamant in his abilities and is proud of them though he is not foolish enough to boast about them.

Though he is a fervent believer in his cause to overthrow Britannia he is also a harsh realist and dislikes people who overestimate their chances in a dire situation, or are flat out blissfully cheerful despite circumstances needing to be taken seriously. Life is not a party. The harsh world is a very real one for most people and you need to think about the big picture before you can definitively believe that something is possible.

He utterly despises people who are racist no matter if they are Japanese, Britannian, or anyone else for that matter. He believes the mere act of thinking people are sub-human, or trash is disgusting. Even the most oppressive people in the world are still human in the inside and people should be judged not on their skin, or race but one's actions. He is more than willing to put behind someone's past actions if they are willing to do something here and now unless they've been a part of something unexcusable to him in which case he flat out rejects them. In his opinion actions are more definitive than words ever can be.

Though he has no official family anymore he deep down just wants someone he can settle down with and have a family with. The need to have someone or something to say 'this person is my family' is something he deeply wants to say. Moving from place to place has left him with a desire for just the most primal thing a person could want.

History:

Born in Ireland to the Head of the future head Irish Republican Army which was reformed after Britannia took over the whole of the Western Europe Islands his family was well known in Ireland as wealthy land owners and politicians. Though he hardly knew his family he remembers growing up with his older Brother Scott and his cousin Vivienne in the large swath of land overlooking a secluded beach in Ireland. When he was young he used to stay with his mother in the house and listen to his father on TV and while it bored the young lad he was happy to know his father stood up for the best things in life.

Scott and Vivienne were two of his best friends and he idealized them in his mind as the best people around. While he was educated at home by a private tutor he did seek to find as many new friends as possible and befriended many of the staff and many of them doted on the rambunctious young lad. He was happy, content, and loved his father and mother with all of his heart. His most cherished memory was of the day before Britannia invaded where his father insisted that he'd protect him no matter what.

However after Britannia invaded Ireland as a stepping point the Irish Army was bulldozed unable to hold off the more advanced Knightmare Frames however Irish men and women don't stay down for long as before they even moved into Scotland Jack's father organized a resistance movement and stole some of the Britannian Knightmare Frames straight out of a convoy and proceeded to enact swift and deadly raids on Britannian military groups with help from the French Army. Scott was more than willing to stay back and take care of Jack during this time and he taught him the ins and outs of military life including how to use fire arms and how to fight. Jack adjusted to his life quick enough though he dearly desired to go back to how his life used to be. He even seemed to have a talent for piloting as he snuck into one of the bases's storage areas and managed to boot up and use a Knightmare Frame without help. Jack would help make and set bombs and do some minor gun fights with some members of the IRA before his time in Ireland came to an end.

His father decided life itself was too hard in Ireland for his youngest son so his father sent him away to a dear friend in Japan named Nagamasa Azai who was the leader of the Japanese Army's most talented divisions. Though Nagamasa would take on Jack as a son they wouldn't see eye to eye immediately though Nagamasa had much hope for the boy after seeing his determination. Nagamasa would take care and shelter Jack who would take on his last name of 'Azai' unofficially and teach him the Japanese language and culture. Jack and Nagamasa slowly bonded until Jack and Nagamasa were forced to leave after Japan lost the war and Nagamasa joined the JLF. Nagamasa was confident in Jack's abilities and let him join as well when Jack insisted. The two would work together and after proving himself even received a modified Burai to fit his abnormal talents with the machines. However as the battles grew harder Nagamasa decided to lead a futile attack on a Britannian military group in hopes of buying more time for the group and sent Jack away. Jack had nowhere to go so he had resorted to living in the Ghettos living on what jobs he could find and usually under a false name. There he ran a gang of ex-JLF soldiers who made sure the peace was kept as best as possible. Jack coutinued to work there until Zero had started his Rebellion.

Jack then took extra measures and attempted to contact the E.U. through means of a third party. He kept at this until he finally had success though at this time it was far to late as Jack's men soon either rallied to the Black Knights, or were too few to keep things under control. Jack took what was left of his gang back to Europe after the Princess Massacare incident in Japan. He refused to take part in the Black Rebellion and joined the E.U. Military as the first official leader of the Irish 1st Brigade made up of his former gang mates from Japan, and Irish immigrants and obtained the rank of Leiutenant. He proved himself as capable when he was put in charge of a unit of Sutherlands captured from the enemy and broke an Britannian Commando division capturing it's Captain in the process. He coutinues to serve in the E.U. but has been assigned to the W-1 division as it's head officer in an attempt to re-establish a friendly Japan and now serves as Sho's left hand man.

Description: The fifth-generation Gloucester (グロースター Gurōsutā) is a remodeled Sutherland with focus on close combat. Ordinary models are painted a flat, dull purple, but a few ranked-officers units are known to be custom painted. For example, Guilford's and Darlton's units sport a more vibrant deep-purple color scheme, while the elite Glaston Knights mostly retain the standard colors except for their shoulders and the sides of the head, which are blue. The cape on standard-model Gloucesters are a muted dark blue-grey, while those of Guilford, Darlton, and the Glaston Knights are navy-blue.

Jack's personal Gloucester is a refined model captured from a Britannian Officer. It has a white paint scheme, and sports an additional side arm and small sword. It has few improvements from a standard model though it has been tuned specifically to fit Jack's style of fighting better.

Code Geass - War For the Homeland

The year is 2018 on the Imperial Calendar the date is December 2nd and the location is the hidden base of the Black Knights Kyushu Central Base. A group of former JLF forces had informed overseeing officer General Sho of the former Japanese Army, now Area Eleven, of the base's existence. Kyushu has a very faint Britannian Presence especially in the mountain sector allowing black marketers, and Black Knight forces to use it as a primary operations site. Heavily fortified, and armed General Sho uses the base to coordinate his guerrilla efforts against the Britannian Army. Black Knight Officials are split and very few people know where high ranking members and foundation members are currently at due to the need to keep Britannia from finding key members. Despite this the European Union has chosen to place it's own division called W-1 there to assist. W-1 has been active since two months after the Black Rebellion, some members are even former Japanese soldiers whom have come back to serve their nation after leaving.

Currently there are two separate bases connected by way of a tunnel network inside the hallowed out mountains. Both mountains have a similar layout with outlaying hangers for Knightmare frames to use at their leisure. Other than that there are hidden battlements all along the mountains paved out to look like simple pathways for travelers. Inside the base there are artillery armaments hidden behind fake rocks, and more over there are plenty of armies on each floor. There are are six floors dedicated to each base with the middle ones, and top being dedicated to defensive combat in case of battle. There is a communications center on the 5th floors along with a war room well made from captured Britannian tech and carefully removed of any possible signaling devices that could be traced back to the mountains. The second floor houses electricity needs, and a barracks. The 1st floor holds an additional barracks, alongside a recreational room to keep off duty soldiers busy. All in all the bases are wide, and lengthy allowing for multiple escape routes to be used if need be and long tunnels out to discreetly move military forces from the mountains into the neighboring ports for transport.

Today is a cold day, and cloudy but General Sho has asked that a group of soldiers, and technicians report to the war room soon for a meeting regarding a shipment of Britannian Knightmare Frames meant to pacify nearby Japanese cities, and quell an uprising Black Knight group working along the costs whom also answer to General Sho directly. In order to do this Sho has stated he is considering sending some of his spies, and technicians into the base fist to sabotage them, and assist in making out with as much information from the base, and as much tech, as possible. Though the actual strategy has yet to be decided.

The Black Rebellion, and the uprising over the one the majority of Japanese called their savior, Zero, has come to an end. The Black Knights, soldiers of freedom or terrorists depending on your point of view, failed to overcome the Britannian forces during the crucial offensive to take back their homeland. Zero supposedly abandoned his soldiers vanishing just as suddenly as he had arrived leading to the possible doom of the movement. In this time Suzaku Kururugi has ascended to the Knights of the Round, and Viceroy Calares has taken over control of Japan from the now missing Princess Cordelia. Reconstruction efforts are beginning to see fruit in Japan as cities hurt by the Rebellion begin to recover. Despite this however The Black Knights, and other Japanese insurrection forces refuse to stand down and continue on.

Among these people a new group have risen up still baring the Black Knights title but refusing to acknowledge the main branch. Though their location is unknown by the Britannian Forces they are situated in the mountains of Kyushu. Made up of some of the Black Knight's aces and otherwise stalwart soldiers they defiantly attack the empire. They are led by legendary general Sho Kurasaki. General Sho is a former general in the Japanese Army. It was he who had actually served in the front lines against Britannia in the first war. And he continued to serve all the way to the bitter end. In his final moments he had even defeated some of the first knightmare frame systems sent to Japan by way of clever tactics, and underhanded trickery. A firm believer in Bushido, and a truly strong individual Sho has rallied the men together seeing the Black Rebellion as a failed turning point has renewed his belief that Japan can be whole again. Initially he refused to join the Japanese Liberation Front, and the Black Knights due to his own code of ethics preventing him from re-entering the fight he has chosen to come out of hiding in order to return Japan. Though he considers himself a 'ronin' without a master now he intends to bring the fight to Japan. But he does not do so alone.

Enter the European Union. A long time enemy of the Britannian Empire and a collection of individual states that seek true independence from the Empire. A major world super power rivaling the Britannian Army in scale, and size. Though in terms of technological sufficiency that is what they are lacking. Despite this however the E.U. is now planning on assisting General Sho in his efforts in re-taking Japan in an effort to gain support for pushing Britannian Forces out of the captured Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and Great Britain. To this end the Europeans have proudly sent Sho a group of men and women who will turn the tide of the Black Rebellion. This force is designated W-1. Led by the son of an Irish Minister, and former JLF sympathizer Jack Blake. He was temporarily adopted by former JLF General Nagamasa Azai but has dropped Azai as his last name in order to more properly lead the W-1 Task Force. Once they save Japan they are to pressure Britannia in hopes of one day allowing the European Forces to win the day.

I didn't exactly want to see Lelouch die to me he deserved what he got at the end of the story through all of that betrayal and hardship he had suffered. However it was in character for him at this point, and he did have valid reasons on why he wanted to die. It was a good ending but not one that I particularly enjoyed watching.

I'm going to make a mixture of both with the primary setting being in Japan. The black knight remnants are going to be led by an old Japanese officer who did not take part in the Black Rebellion but his clout with the old government and his reputation as a soldier speaks for itself. The Euro forces will be led by an old character of mine whom I'm going to update. He's going to be a ex-JLF soldier who refused to work with Zero and instead went back to Europe for a time before arriving back.
