Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

The enemy pilot fighting both the gundams was soon relieved as enemy Zaku painted with white stripes landed on the ground and started focusing on the other zaku allowing him to actually breath for half a second. He used his mace and rammed it into the missiles destroying them before they could damage his own gundam. Beta Team took aim with their rifles and began their own counter assault against the white striped zaku. However a large beam rifle shot came out of nowhere smashing into the ground near beta. "Enemy mortar shots! Get out of the way!" growled Beta Leader as he backed off to find cover mistaking the shot for some sort of artillery round. "About time you guys got here." the enemy gundam stated as he moved into attack Sarah knowing the other pilot had a system he couldn't handle. However Puru fired a burst of shots forcing him back. "I got this! Don't worry guys!" commented Puru as she continued her barrage of covering fire forcing the enemy pilot to fall back off of him only for her right shoulder to take a quick shot from out of nowhere. If Puru hadn't sensed it coming she would've been dead. "AHHH!" Puru shouted as she pulled back as Jack told her to get out of the way. However as the new waves came coming in Hiling Care's voice came over the lines: "Fucking hell they're a pain to get rid of! Middle flank is starting to get overrun...and of course I had to go and blow up all their god damn traps." Hiling grumbled angrily as she continued on, "Further more there's an enemy gundam over here. Ancient thing shouldn't be an issue pilot is skilled though." Hiling commented to further the situation going south quickly.

Despite hope being drained by the second as more, and more zaku units landed a sudden flash of green lines lit up the sky as a hail storm of beam shots rained down on the ground. At least a dozen zaku units were destroyed or damage by the initial attack but more shots came raining down further wiping out further reinforcements however the enemy gundam managed to evade most of them but still took some minor damage. "I believe this would be called 'saving your ass' Conrad." commented the voice of Jason over the communicators as Beta Leader's face lit up in surprise. "Captain you're in battle?! You haven't fought in ages!? But how-" Beta Leader began to state as in the sky floated a dark grey gundam surrounded by dragoons. "Like fucking hell...when did we get....Providence gundam?" asked Beta as Jason shot down an enemy suit almost ready to kill Beta who got knocked back into the real situation as the enemy gundam looked up at them with disdain. "It would seem I'm out matched...still i won't die here." commented the pilot as he shot at the new gundam Jason casually stopped the round as a hail of beams from a dragoon destroyed the shot. "You two...Jack, and Sara correct? Go and find that enemy sniper before he get's too me. I'll handle this garbage can." Jason commented with amusement as he remembered his younger days with some disdain.

Name: Bill Atlas
Nicknames: White Lightning, Atlas Squire
Team Position: Team Leader - Skirmisher
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Year at Ace Academy: 2nd Year
Appearance:

A male around standard height, and build Bill has dark brown hair, and hazel eyes. He usually wears a black coat, and white t-shirt with a pair of baggy pants. His hair is short cut, and usually well kept. He is not a very muscular individual only training to be properly able to pilot his suit. As such he is rather skinny but and pale. His skin tone white Caucasian and his ethnicity is that as well.

-
Personality:

Bill is a kind hearted young man with a respectable attitude towards others, and more often than not well spoken. He tends not to lean towards cruder language but does occasionally say harsher words towards others. He is professional, and well intentional when it comes to both piloting, and talking with others. Bill finds it easier to express himself through gear combat than actual words however and finds it easier to understand people through that. Bill often finds himself wondering if he could be a better pilot, or even a better person if he could just change a little bit more. He pushes himself in studies, and in training to reflect on the fact that he has a legacy to live up to.

He doesn't enjoy traveling, and prefers to stick to one place and stay there if he can. He also prefers playing video games to going to parties, or dancing. He refuses to drink, or smoke believing it would hamper his performance, and his own life. When it comes to friends however he is honest, and quickly ready to point out a flawed argument towards them as he views it as a personal point to help people better themselves if possible. Though he understands if his own advice is unwanted.

As a pilot however his personality changes quite a bit. Almost in recreation of his cousin's style he acts, and fights with hot blooded ferocity. Though this is mostly just a front he doesn't feel especially intense and uses it to either make his opponents demoralized, or misunderstand just what his actual fighting style entails. This essentially makes it a facade of his cousin's, and his grand father's before even him. In reality Bill lives off his adrenaline rush, and uses it to push through his enemies. However he is always respectful towards them, even if they are hostile to him in return.

Biography:

Born in America too a family with a lot of history regarding the gears young Bill was singled out to have a fantastic career when he grew up. His earlier life was simple as he spent most of it like any other kid, except with a lot more giant robot fights, and usually was left in the care of nannies, or other caretakers as his parents worked long hours, and were often busy. His family line of Atlas is star studded to say the least having members leading back to the older days of robotics, and cenorobotics. Though Bill himself cared very little for the subject initially as he had grown used to simply being around such creations. His father would often tutor him on aspects of robot design at Bill's own request when he was a kid which exposed him to many types of various machines from an earlier age.

Though Bill hadn't thought about it much he soon became more and more disinterested with Cenorobotics and figured it would be best not to live up to his parents' expectations of him joining in on the family career as they already had many family members in the business and Bill wanted to do something else entirely. Bill usually spent time around others, and making new friends when he could though he was not especially charismatic he was a honest sort, and well liked for his kindness towards others. He was a boy of few words to say the least however as he preferred to get directly to the point of things when he could.

Bill's teenage years from middle school and outward would be a time of change for him as he spent more, and more time trying to learn how to play music, and code computers to little success. However his soon to be famous cousin known as 'Black Thunder' by his friends was Jaden Atlas more often called Jack by some friends than his real name. Jaden influenced Bill with his larger than life charismatic stature, and posturing and his ability to simply beat people with unbelievable ease. Jaden was Bill's older cousin by five years, and when figured since Bill was having issues trying to find something he enjoyed in life he would tutor him himself. Jaden would not accept no for an answer and more or less forced Bill into Gear Piloting despite retorts from Bill's own friends. Jaden sparked a competitive streak in Bill he hadn't known existed after mercilessly beating him in simulators over and over again.

Bill had had enough of being beaten and quickly decided that if he couldn't beat his cousin than he didn't deserve to be called an Atlas. Bill devoted himself to learning his cousin's style which turned out to have a profoundly strong impact on Bill's own style as he got use to fighting in his cousin's own melee combat style than trying to flesh out his own style. Eventually Jaden himself would stop spending as much time with Bill as he use to but would continue to teach Bill who himself entered high school and began competing in junior league tournaments with the backing of Hyperion due to Jaden's meddling. Jaden would go onto be a nearly household name in the competitive world of Gear Battling for his manic persona of a hot blooded warrior eventually dubbing himself Sir Atlas along with his old title.

Bill would eventually go onto win a junior league championship before graduating high school. He spent a lot of time earning his keep in the house by taking on jobs with his father. However his father was convinced that Bill had talent and that he could best be put to use learning in Japan. Bill was sent to Japan to live on his own with the financial aid of his father initially in his first year at Isokaze's Ace Academy. Though Bill fought hard, and struggled a lot he did not make a strong initial impression on some students due to his western fighting style. However the famed team Celestial Star had picked him up soon enough and smoothed out some of his rougher habits. Though he did play back-up to many of his fellow classmates.

After coming in 7th place in the school last year Jaden sent Bill his own machine...to be exact the same one he used in the pro-leagues. The machine called Masurao. Hyperion offered to back Bill for the machine but Celestial Star was backed by Yan Industries their manager, a 3rd year named Chao Jun who has been supporting the team for years while other sponsors backed out due to the teams changing. Bill accepted their help in exchange for the right to keep Masurao from Jaden. Now with the new year running about and many teams forming with members lacking of his older team Bill intends to keep the team together with his friend Yasumi Masu as they attempt to win the prestige back from their striking defeat last year.

Combat Section:

Strengths:
-Highly adaptive,
- quick reflexes,
- heavy specialized training in melee combat which he gained by being trained by a professional gear pilot.

Weaknesses:
-Style reminiscent of his trainer leads to overly specialized melee preference with very little skill for long range.
-Poor nerves (when someone can hold off his style of combat, or hold him to a standstill he panics if pressured).
-Tense Focus (despite his skill he tends to focus on the enemy in front of him. A problem he hopes to rectify later.)

Neutral Values: Mid Range Combat, and support roles.

@vietmykeMasurao is a professionally built mecha built for a star pilot in the pro leagues. It was made for a man who could handle extremely precise melee combat scenarios. Bill is not as capable as his older cousin who the machine was made for specifically but he can still handle it. As such it's statistics reflect that. Just because the machine is good doesn't mean my character is capable of using it to it's full potential.
It looks good bit iffy on the stats for the machine but they're fine I suppose. I'll accept the character.
For everyone here's an example of a battle. Spoilers for the story of course but this is what battles are typically like. There's someone talking in the video but you can mute it if you desire. The battle starts roughly around the 9:40 mark.

@vietmykeThat's why the school uses a majority of blade based weapons. Slashing weapons don't usually leave too much chance for a bad hit. Core breaches probably auto force down the systems on most gears. You're also not suppose to be aiming for places which could kill the pilot. All mechs in the battles so far have sustained heavy damage and then shut down, or beaten by a mech in personal combat resulting in a shut down. It's more about causing damage, and getting points than going for big power blows. If you're using a lance just aim at the arms, or the legs of a suit. You're not suppose to turn the thing into molten slag you're suppose to disable it.

As for ejection seats, and what have you I'm sure some models have things such as that for emergencies but they're not normally used.
@vietmykePlot wise mechanics from various companies set down the power, and or assign weapons that cause power downs of the enemy mechs when they cause sufficient damage. In other words they force shut down the unit when enough damage is done.
I'll see what I can do for Atlas later I have the general gist of his story down. I just don't want to get burnt out as there have been times where I have made entire characters just for the others to randomly drop out leaving me with a handful of useless ramblings.
@AmmokkxAlright fair enough I'll accept the character unless you feel the need to add more stuff into the character.
@PeacelessI'm assuming there's other weaponry in the world however we are in a school based environment. I'm sure certain pieces of tech are limited to prevent harm from students. Chances are a school would not let a student arm their gear with a bazooka for example. As for elemental effects I do not plan on adding them in. This universe seems to be at a point in time where gears are just starting to get into advancements. Most mechs are well operated, and well made but they don't seem to have the fancy equipment from say Gundam, or Shin Getter. However I'm sure if you modify your weapon to create some sort of kick back or whatever it can function in similar ways to some more traditional rpg like effects. As I said we're not in this to hurt people they're more like IGPX than an actual war based system though there ARE war game type gear teams out there as it's expounded that there are professional national, and pro teams that compete in them. China, and Japan namely fight each other in one throw away cut scene.
