So it appears there's infighting in the group already...and Damocles is away from it all eating cake at a random diner in Gotham. Funny how things work out for you sometimes when you want to just get away from the chaos for cake.

I may be interested in joining however I have a question: Will the water bending boy in the rough draft be your player character? If so then I would have to decline my interest. I am not a fan of a specific character of the rp being a player character. If it's more of an NPC deal that's fine with me somewhat.@Jones Sparrow

A question for my beloved guild colleagues

I personally don't believe every single post needs to be read. This is my own opinions of course others need to disagree. But when two people are talking to each other and it doesn't involve the story, or the character you're a part of whatsoever then you have no obligation to read it. You may want to it may help solidify your understanding of other characters but it can also lead to some meta gaming potential say what if character A said to B that they liked cake. Then when character A meets C then C offers the aforementioned Cake for no reason.

Basically it's up to you in my own opinion. I feel the need to add 'my opinion' because I don't feel like arguing about this.

Well you guys were complaining that I wasn't giving you enough action so I let you guys hit Lockon, who's in trans-am, and now you're in a situation where you can force Lao, one of the intended strongest pilots in this roleplay, to retreat from the field by aiding Jason.

Not letting the goons do as they pleased Damocles found a bag full of venom patches and quickly lit it on fire before ditching the place as soon as possible after leaving a small note to incriminate the penguin in the deal. It was a small crumbled piece of paper that could've fallen out of someone's pocket on the way out of there. It had 'orders' on it from one of the more well known lieutenants from Penguin's group. Penguin could easily be left as a target as he runs the arms deals in Gotham usually. He had to ditch the whole area jogging to find the nearest serviceable area that was not being clouded by his little interference device. It took longer than Damocles had intended to as he ran he had to make sure not to get into too heavily populated areas. It would draw attention to him. Best stick to the remote parts of town.

As soon as he could Damocles stopped in front of a roadside diner and breathed heavily pulled down the cloth around his face he took a moment to catch his breath before looking over the phone data he had received he made his way into the diner. Sitting in a corner booth after ordering a slice of cake he quickly thought over what he could do. First off he made a list of contacts that he got from the man so he could name names to Batman later. Then he figured he should actually see if he could track any of the calls made from the phone. After some complicated sleuthing he meticulously tracked all the calls he could some were issues, others were not. However something stood out to Damocles. "Seems suspicious...alright let's see here..." he muttered as his cake came and he paid for it ahead of time before sending out a message through his phone to the members of the bat family. Issuing a statement that he had found information linking criminals in the area to a desolate gym that shouldn't be in use. Chances are there was someone, or something there. At the very least a planning stage. Damocles was in no hurry to save the hostages though he didn't intend on leaving them there. He needed to catch his breath after the shit storm that was the last part of the operation. This wasn't his usual MO and he wondered if he should just give Batman his money back.

Andre groaned and looked around him things just got more complicated. It'd be one thing if he could start a fight here by himself. He didn't care for these losers, and or their pride one bit. Pride was the emotion that losers held close to them when they needed a boost to their lives. Never had Andre cared for the notion the only pride he felt was for his brothers. They were always the top dogs. Much more than Andre could ever be, or want to be. 'trash will always be trash.' Andre thought to himself as he looked at Megan, and then Genta and sighed in acknowledgement. "Fine just stop picking on the other students and I won't do anything anymore. Simple as that really. I'm not some super hero those guys tend to end up in shallow graves somewhere on the riverbank. I'm not interested in being one of those folks. Keep on being the big guy on campus for all I care. I really don't." Andre told Steel straight up as he grabbed Genta by the shoulder and pulled him along with him past a group of the dark dorm's lowest. "Don't bother. They're not worth it." Andre told Genta quietly. If worse came to worse he expected a teacher to show up soon enough. It's one thing to let the dark dormies bully kids. It's another to gang up on people it was against the law more so than the former issue.

I just think helping someone is the best thing another person for their peers. It builds character and it shapes a community. As cheesy as it sounds I rather see a crowd of happy smiling faces then a crowd of sad sacks." Ben responded to Cream honestly. He kept on his smile and he took her at her word as she told him her name, even if it was a lie Ben saw no reason to refute it just yet. "Once again it's nice to meet you Miss Cream. Glad to hear your excelling at your grades." Ben stated with a smile. Even if she was exaggerating Ben really didn't mind people claimed silly things all the time may as well roll with what is presented.

"I guess I never really cared for promotion, or demotion for that matter. I'm here to learn, and help people. But if you know someone who wants to duel me I'll take on all challengers. If it's light dorm though I won't go easy on them like I would other people. It may end in a...curb stomp if they're not careful. The boss monster of my deck isn't a joke." Ben stated as he patted his duel box on his belt. "If you saw the ending to my duel in the qualifying round then you know what I'm talking about. I'm not trying to brag it's a friendly warning." Ben commented further. He wondered where this was going exactly? He didn't really expect much from this girl but if she wanted something from him, even if it was malicious, he didn't mind going along with it. Worse comes to worse he got some laughs thrown in his face. Not a big deal.
